I have just returned to playing Mugen again after a 5 years absence.

 

Plenty of great content to choose from on this website.

Hi, although I'm not really new here nor am I new to mugen....

 

I still would like to introduce myself, for I felt like I was a person who just came out of no where with my content I provided lol.
 

• The name is Yoonybin but, you can call me YOONGBIN, or Yoongs or Yoong
• I am 20 years old, I originally 18 - 19 when I first joined this guild.
• I've loved mugen ever-since I was about 7+ year old.
• I love memes, gaming, anime (obvi), kpop (dw I'm not toxic lol) and, many more things!
• I'm also neurodivergent (ADHD), so keep that in mind for I can be a bit slow lol
• I'm also much more to myself than social, I'm a bit nervous from time to time. I'm pretty much an ambivert. 

That is all, I hope you guys have enjoyed my introduction and, my content  for, I am more towards on making FULL GAMES for everyone to enjoy

I have been reading and seeing so much hard work done from everyone and just wanted to say thank you for all your hard work and making fun games for everyone to play and thank you to the creators of this forum for making a place like this!

Hello, I'm new to Mugen. I wanted to wait until I had all my stuff together before posting this. Essentially what I'm trying to do is figure out how to set up and run a 1,000 character Mugen game with the full roster of the King of Fighters anthology and a few additional characters from Marvel and Time Killers. I've downloaded the full anthology, multiples of the additional characters (I don't know which is which), and about 10 different Mugens. What do I do now? How do I set up Mugen so I can test characters? I have like 8 or 9 Sentinels, about 6 Juggernauts, several Magnetos, etc. I only need one of each but different artists all made the same character and I need to check each one and only keep the best ones.

Do I need all of them? I figured out that Mugen 1.1 does everything I need. Where do I put them? In the program files, or do I run Mugen through the program? Would it go under plug ins?

I found them all and downloaded them, but I'm not sure what they do or how they work.

Do the character files need to be unzipped to run? I play a lot of GZDoom and the .wad files will play zipped, but .pk3 files need to be unzipped. Do I just paste the .zip files into the "chars" folder?

I just need to test the extra characters that aren't in the KOF Anthology. Multiple people made the same character so I downloaded all of them to make sure I got one that works. I need to put the character in Mugen to see what they look like and how they play. I'll delete all the extra files when I can test them. I don't need multiples of the exact same character.

Ok, so if I wanted to put one of the Sentinels into Mugen, I make a folder called "Sentinel" and unzip the file inside of the chars folder? Then do this for the rest of the characters?
