The direct was good for the most part(wish they kept the waddle dee's in for dedede), was not expecting Greninja. I'm sure people will be bitching about Squirtle/Ivysaur now......

 

I kinda hope they put Lucas back in though I doubt it will happen.

Its pretty much shows how the difference between characters and Assists  will run in the 3DS version.

Hopfully online play for the 3DS version won't be so glitchy when its released. =P

As Noob said, assists and Pokémon will run at 30fps, while the rest of the game will run at 60.

 

The main reason behind the image was because Samurai Goroh is there. Goroh is a character from F-Zero, as is Falcon. I'm saying that Falcon is pretty much confirmed by that image, as Goroh is hardly the star of the show, so to speak.

I'm kinda iffy on trophies moving at 30 fps.

60 fps is sort of necessary with these sort of games so you'll have accurate frame data.

Whatever I guess, as long as it's not a core mechanic

I wouldn't say greninja is broken he just have a lot of counter measure moves that gives him an edge in battle. However greninja could be a light-weight type character so he needs moves like 'Substitute' to keep him self from being knocked-out. =P
