Hello everyone,
I'd like to introduce to you all my idea for a screenpack. I got bored at work the other day and came up with this. Normally, I scrap ideas as soon as they come to fruition because they're just not good enough, but this one I really wanted to stick with after comping up a prototype in PS. Without further ado, I give you the workings of Pixel Fighter:

- New-age pixel style with modern color scheme

- Mugen 1.1 32-bit source graphics, meaning no color loss

- Matching lifebars with possible custom fightfx effects to match the style
- 800+ character slot variant
- Chiptune-like/synthesized music and UI sfx

That's it for now, but I plan to keep this thread update. Let me know what you think. I really like the idea and hope to let this see the light of day.

A stage that was released yesterday. (At the time) A pretty neat Mugen stage take on the original game. The Pooka and Fygar are animated, and after a while, the screen becomes monochromatic, a warning symbol appears, and the Fygar spews fire. Although, there's really nothing to worry about. It comes with a remix of the main theme from Dig Dug, that's heavily piano based.

Today I decided to release one of random characters I'm going to create while working on spriting for my new 2015 character.

I've always been a great fan of XCB's characters, I hope he does not mind if I used some of his characters as a template.

I wanted to create it because I always wanted a Hashimoto with a more appetizing and solid gameplay that approached to XCB's Kakuge Yaro characters.

Another thing: my Hashimoto is not an update of Kung Fu Man's Hashimoto, but a full remake created by me from scratch, with new animations and new moves.

What else to say about it?

Black & White.  Sure, it was considered horribly overrated, but as of now, it's faded into obscurity and almost nobody even remembers that it existed.  The 5th gen Pokemon games don't help.

Now, if only there was a way to use other 3D models, rather than just those from SMASH.

Justice is a major character in the Guilty Gear series, and is one of its main antagonists. Justice is a female Gear, the first "complete" Gear that was created by That Man. She was the instigator of the Crusades, a hundred year war against humans and Gears that is the foundation for the majority of the Guilty Gear storyline. Justice was eventually defeated and destroyed by Sol Badguy.
 
Justice is the main antagonist of Afro Samurai. He was the holder of the Number One Headband for most of Season 1. He dresses in traditional cowboy garb and wields two long-barreled revolvers. Like many other characters in the series, Justice is a smoker. His skin appears to be disease-ridden with various blotches around his body (his bio on the Afro Samurai website states that this was the result of a past accident; he was presumably submerged with toxic waste, as this would explain his bizarre traits, i.e., his diseased skin and his third arm.

There is actually a decent Samus made by Odb718, but it uses her 3D models from SSBB, and plays in CvS style. The best DK you'll find for Mugen is aperson98's version. Thankfully, DJHANNIBALROYCE is working on a DK now, and it's looking amazing!
There is a decent Pit made by Akiyu, but there is no download link for now.

There are absolutely no good versions of Woody (from Toy Story, aka ME) or Buzz Lightyear. The only Buzz is Adrian's, but it's really crappy and is a Zangief cosplay. Woody was made by Warioman, and has very little animations or moves (All sprites are poorly edited from Toy Story 2 Activity Center)

This is a Preview Showcase of a Ninja Pokemon, Greninja. Pretty much all versions of Samus are cheap. There is a Zero Suit Samus for MUGEN. There aren't any good or not cheap versions of Samus in the Varia Suit.
 
Olimar (Pikmin)
There are 3 versions. All of them are bad. One is a spriteswap of Waddle Dee. Why can't someone make a good Olimar for MUGEN!?
 
Pit (Kid Icarus)
Seriously? No good versions of Pit?
 
Sephiroth (Final Fantasy)
But probably not for long, as I heard dagar is making him.
