  1. I heard that there's another version of M. Bison/Vega from Capcom vs. SNK that was made during the old days of MUGEN. This one here is made by Saiai and Koga, also known as Team Kai. Nothing much known about this version of the character, other than it uses some edited moves and also had some misaligned sprites, but it can be seen in this link: https://network.mugenguild.com/rs/ddm/vegavsbison.html And here are some pictures of the character taken from the link above, competing with Gargoyle's version: Wasn't really aware of this version until that I just checked the link out. Apparently, the DL link to it is offline and the Wayback Machine doesn't really work with it, which makes it not being heard from again. But I would appreciate it if someone has happened to have this Bison. Thanks.
  2. Since N_N mentioned that the original version works for DOS MUGEN, I'm 100% sure it's Ver.1-01. About Ver.11-29, I don't know if the author himself converted it for newer versions of MUGEN or if he hosted Juan Carlos' fix on his site. For Razox's version, well, as far as I can tell, I've read before that he was a very early beta, or at least an alpha. So don't really expect that much any of the special moves or supers.
  3. Looks like @N_N has brought me yet another special gift with this oldie right here: Gambit by Caretaker, aka Ace of Spadez: https://www.mediafire.com/file/jzmxkzfonlio1j3/gambit.zip/file Now about KoYoTae's version of Gambit. Well, it seems like that version of the character has been added in this collection twice, since the one in the XvSF section has its .def file being modified with the authorname as "Corntortillas". The one that's in the main section is the unedited one, since it has the original authorname as 'KoYoTae HeySKA Raven_Azn SKinnyAzn" in its .def. The same thing goes to Blackbocs' Hulk, since the one in the MSH section had its authorname labeled as "DragmanMJ", though if I remember correctly, Dragman only made Wolverine.
  4. Great finding, my man! I almost forgot that Juan Carlos made a conversion of Caretaker's Gambit to work in newer versions of MUGEN. Thanks as always.
  5. Here's another topic in which that I would like to ask on this site. It's about two different versions of Gambit from the Marvel vs. Capcom series that were made during the old days of MUGEN. The first version of this character that I'm trying to look for is the one made by Ace of Spadez, otherwise known as Caretaker. It's also a missed opportunity for me to share this character on the Marvel Comics collection while trying to add some of the other chars in that collection. Unfortunately, it's offline, as if I couldn't even find a single link to download this particular Gambit. As of now, it is currently listed in Electrocaid's Perfect Select. Here are some screenshots of this character, for more info: There's also another even older version of the character, made by a Brazilian creator named Razox. It's probably the first version of Gambit in MUGEN, as shown in the preview below. I know he is only made for DOS MUGEN, but still. Also listed in the Perfect Select: I apologize for the low quality of the third screenshot. But If any of you guys manage to have these version of Gambit, let me know and I'll see. Thanks.
  6. I did know that the "big" motif can fill in 60 characters, but I had the idea to add more slots for an easier way to make the select screen large enough in this motif. The other motifs would probably be somewhat time consuming to do so because of that reason. Forgot to mention that I was watching one of Beterhans' tutorials on how to add extra slots for more characters to put into before that I can attempt to do the same thing.
  7. This Spider-Man (see at 0:00 - 0:59): As well as the following: Morph (also known as Morfo) by Juggernaut Super Cyclops and Super Ironman by MICROmor Beavis by DRACUL Kanos by RMX Zidane by DOGS Giganta by Wemersonftj Squall, Neo, Max Payne, and Darth Maul by Spinicci Giacomo, aka KingStar All Marvel and DC chars by Cesarsombra Cable by Majik Jill Valentine by {^Paul^} Star Butterfly and Marco Diaz by Randy Big Head Metal Greymon Klonoa by Sordane Starfire (Teen Titans Go!) by The Big Bro Small Bro Silver Surfer and Symbiote Surfer by Cabbageconkers Pico by Oohwap Anything by Pgrs111MAGEN Any Symbiote edits
  8. As far as I can recall, Star Butterfly from the Disney TV series "Star vs. the Forces of Evil" had a few conversions of her existing in MUGEN, but neither of them are any good. And I'm also including the one that's a headswap of another character. I'm still waiting for a decent one to be made.
  9. Scratch that, here's an alt. link of that updated DK by Infiinma that I just made: https://www.mediafire.com/file/ycbn4pv2b9e9j3v/dk0.rar/file This one right here actually has the "mugenversion", "versiondate", and "author" listed in the .def file, though it comes with an ending. I don't know which one works best for you, @Charmugen. I'll have you decide and just take a look at it...
  10. Vile by Syquest: https://www.mediafire.com/file/p5lfz94q9b7cj06/Vile_%28Syquest%29.zip/file Had this sitting around in my folder of hosted chars. I also managed to find another version of this character, done by an unknown creator: https://www.mediafire.com/file/llcc4muzw3pvm0u/vava.zip/file
  11. Sorry for the late response guys, but this kinda sounds like a difficult question to answer, though I think I have a few to name: Shadow the Hedgehog by HiRo: While that he isn’t that great of a version, I only mentioned him because of how ridiculous his gameplay was. What he usually does is that he always heals in almost every battle that involves him. Yes, that makes him a cheap char, but well, I just can’t help using him. Duke Nukem by Juan Carlos: Because of how goofy his voice is sounding instead of the usual “badass” one that he originally had in the games, as if the author is trying to make him more of an inside joke than an actual character until the latter. Apart from having some OP moves, he says a lot of lines that are pretty repetitive, but at times, they are hysterically quotable IMO. He’s still a bad char, but I’m just saying. Still better than KingStar’s Max Payne after all. Iron Ball by Daniel Gularte/GULASOFT: Not sure why I mentioned him, but because looking at one video about him, it shows that the author portrayed him as a quirky, yet, an insane killer machine who was meant to be a “death toy” that wanted to destroy any of his opponents. He had some very weird moves to begin with, and his voice perfectly matches his appearance, since that also explains how maniacal he is.
  12. What about Cherry’s Psylocke? I noticed that you left out that particular version of the character while adding the other chars. Did you get an error from it or something else? Just being curious.
  13. For some reason, when I tried to click on the link for Jack Bandit RT's original char that is Rock 'n' Roll/Rockeiro Rebelde, it won't let see the author's page to download him. Instead, it gives me this random warning: "Click "Allow" to confirm that you are not a robot" Are there any possibilities to reupload him on MediaFire or something? Just wondering. That's a great finding, BTW. And I forgot to mention this in my last post, but what about the new DL links for Diabolus-8's Evil Balrog (the one that's hosted on MediaFire via WA) and the latest version of MystikBlaze's Evil Ryu (version 1.05), which is the one hosted on his site. Oddly enough, DeUcEoVsPaDeZ's Phantom Ken was somehow labeled as an edit of Reu's Evil Ryu. And his old eSnips DL link still hasn't been replaced yet, as if I just posted a new one on MF. Sorry if I felt like I had to interrupt you. Just trying to help you out.
  14. Oh, I forgot about CuecaX's Shingo not being able to be downloaded. Are you sure about that? Because when I tried to click on the link for it, the file is still online. At least I tried to make that observation though.
  15. Well, I think the reason why he didn't include that Pikachu and Iron Ball is because they were originally made for earlier versions of DOS MUGEN, meaning that they aren't compatible with later versions (2000.06.27 and above) and nobody at that time have ever converted any of them. That same thing also goes to Dave T./AlphA's Biped, since he didn't get to be a part of his collection either. But referring back to the other two characters, even if I mentioned them already, though I would have to say this with little more details: I saw that he had Artisto16's Grendok, Neon, Blockhead, and Shorashah without ever including his Rapterrometh and Tamika, as well as David Demainoff's Flynn Taggart/Doomguy and KingStar's Max Payne without Juan Carlos' Duke Nukem (heck, not even TheCraftyTitan's edit). And I also noticed that in the Mortal Kombat section, he only has Vital Zero's Fulgore (a character from Killer Instinct) without his Glacius and Ownko's Jago, while in the "anime" section, he has Ichiban36's Simpsons chars without Warner's Homer (keep in mind that he was first made in 2003) and Godebal's Butt-Head, DarkMasterS' The Tick and Richardyzo's Daffy Duck without including Broliblood11's Earthworm Jim and Rick's Paperinik, as well as in his section of other characters, where he only has Juan Carlos' Eternal Champions characters without his Ramses III and Keioh's other chars besides his Xavier Pendragon, and leaving out MugenMage's Wan-Fu in his Samurai Shodown collection. Plus, I don't see him having Midnight Spirit and Trial Force's Sonic the Hedgehog character in the TV Game section either. He actually has Zero_Col, since he's in the second part of his KOF collection, in case if you didn't notice. He did however include KoYoTae (?)'s Evil Zangief and Cid Ninja's Evil Balrog in his Street Fighter collection though. That's not much saying, since there are a lot more to list which would actually take me forever to do so. I apologize that I had to explain this again. @N_N Oh my! I didn't even know that Robert was one of The Disciple X's original characters. That's incredible. It's no wonder why his MUGEN conversion of him wasn't even up in the chars section, yet, DEL has somehow managed to pick it up and put it into his collection. Not sure if he was officially released to the public or maybe he was a leaked W.I.P. And you know what? Some of those characters that were listed in his collection would also end up in an old compilation from 2006 that I had sitting around on my desktop. Not sure if it's just me, or does it seem like I have a fond of rare/missing characters that would later go offline in which that I wanted to revive? But yeah, all I could say is that there are a lot of other characters listed there are pretty much hard to find like what you had just said. If some of the DL links to lost chars that were already found to other people in other collections or the compilations that featured them were deleted/don't exist anymore, then I would feel pretty disappointed about it and it would be much more difficult to find them. What do you guys think of my other posts? Also, I wouldn't be surprised if anyone has these guys in their roster and sending me a DL link to one of them. But yeah, this leads me to believe in conclusion, that Keegan, Robert Johnson, MUGEN Ball, and Dare?, who are the characters that I am looking for, are probably lost for now and will forever be lost during people's lifetime in the future. That is my diagnosis. LGM out.
  16. Hold on a sec, I just saw one more character that you forgot to add as well: Shingo Yabuki by CuecaX. Looking at the first page of this collection, I noticed that storm0062 has putted up a DL link for that character. Would you mind if you can fix that issue?
  17. I was feeling hesitant about putting those chars on this collection, considering how awful they were, even when looking at them again, but oh boy, here they are... Crimson Fox: https://mega.nz/file/FbEXEI5C#SLwrgVqTELMjE8gK-8RTcFejPXRidAVpPNgM2gUkSeo Dr. Cyber: https://mega.nz/file/saFjkbaL#biarOn7Dj4ZsoEWO9wRtqHwpb317FH9UE7IzUXfaiP0 Dr. Light: https://mega.nz/file/BbtwyQCa#ZFJvCRTw-JQOyh2NilQUjK0aMMno5qltJNZYwkzcRe4 Enchantress: https://mega.nz/file/ledXXKjb#gFz-jjDYvCBGU0WwX4UDhoEuI6RCyDaeDJMIdGjsLoQ Goldface: https://mega.nz/file/sXkQ1R6T#FI8d2A9Eop6Sv1SwkqIOQhRgH2QgvJEYYIXnI4DePRA I also found his Nite Owl, in which that I uploaded as well: https://mega.nz/file/VCFH1aTI#vVUTHkG8EgYcYFVnGKzhI7-4VczjtqIuclFm_dqcpIA I'm not sure if you're going to add these guys to the "hall of shame" section as well. Another option is that you can also add them into your folder of many of Cesar's other crappy characters. I'll let you decide though. Now about that Etrigan char that I was talking about in my earlier post, I finally found the author for it: Alan Grant. According to a snapshot on eSnips via the Wayback Machine, the person who uploaded that character said that the author is that guy. I think it at least gives me a possible answer. But yeah, he's still missing in action.
  18. MAAZ/A.W by KIRA: https://www.mediafire.com/file/01r9x1l3d0prxhf/arc_maaz.zip/file Old 3D char, with its files dating back to November 2000. Appears to be an enemy from a Gundam RPG game.
  19. That's a pretty impressive job that you just found the author for those two characters. I appreciate it. BTW, while I was visiting DEL's site, I also saw a Sparkster char that I would later find to upload in another topic. It's not Pneophen's though, but by the same person who also made that weird Ryu edit. Besides that, I even spotted Warner's older Krusty, which I also shared on this site. As mentioned, he was originally a spriteswap of Qkrtkf's Birdie, except that he isn't known as the same author's older Wario, who also happened to be a spriteswap of Big Eli King's self-insert char. Also, when you mentioned the other characters that DEL did not get in his/her hands, I think you might be referring to those Dragon Ball Z, Queen of Hearts, and SD Gundam characters, plus some more well-known/obscure ones that were in other MUGEN-related sites from Rapterrometh to that one Duke Nukem char that I had in my roster. I could be wrong though, but the only reason that guy can give was that there was an issue with listing those chars since there were more than one variant of the same looking one. Another possible reason that I can state is that maybe he doesn't know some of them.
  20. Looking back into these two links from this old Japanese MUGEN site by DEL... https://web.archive.org/web/20040824112911/http://www.geocities.co.jp/Athlete-Acropolis/5191/175rl.html https://web.archive.org/web/20041007225029/http://www.geocities.co.jp/Athlete-Acropolis/5191/175rm.html I saw four different characters that I wanted to look for. And this includes the following: Keegan by Cipher44 (?) Robert Johnson MUGEN Ball by Saiai/ShadowFox Keishi Dare? Let me go over the first character right here, which is Keegan by Cipher44. If some of you who don't know this creator, he was known for making various Mortal Kombat characters, as well as the fullgame "Mortal Kombat Integral", but that one is a whole different story because I want to talk about some of his other characters that aren't MK related. One was his version of Luke Skywalker from Star Wars and the other was Keegan, the character that I'm mostly going to cover for this topic. Judging by its preview, it's an original char and it's supposedly an anthropomorphic cat-like character with claws. There was a DL link to him on Cipher's old Geocities site that I found in some other MUGEN site, but of course it doesn't work at all anymore. The second character is Robert Johnson. Not sure who made this char, but from what I see, it's some sort of rabbit character who appeared as a boxer that looked quite similar to Heavy D'. I could be wrong, but there's not that much information that I can search for with this character. The third character is MUGEN Ball by Saiai/ShadowFox Keishi. As mentioned before, it appears to be a ball char with a dark red color scheme. Again, not much to say about this character, but as far as I remember, it's also mentioned in another list of MUGEN-related data that are missing, which can be found here: https://pastebin.com/CYsVAH3V So, there you have it with this character. And finally, the last character that I just mentioned here is Dare?. Also not sure who made it. I have no idea what the hell it's supposed to be or do, but it has a really strange and peculiar appearance, as it has a chef hat, as well as a black and yellow outfit. It can also be found in a screenshot where he was fighting against Biko Daitokuji in a MSH stage, in certain sites such as MUGEN Revolution and Andromeda Free. Forgot to mention this, but these are also the characters that Electrocaid needed for his infamous Perfect Select. But in any case however, if any of you guys happen to have some of these chars, I'd really appreciate it, even if they may not be any good while revisiting them. Thank you for reading.
  21. I forgot that this still remains in PZT's char pack... Ryu and Dark Ryu by Charlz, aka Charlzn64 or Charlz Loke Pallow. Apparently, this appears to be a rather updated version of the one @Charmugen has showed earlier, as if this one right here is already compatible with WinMUGEN and above. https://www.mediafire.com/file/ayyosdb1shjkkzt/RYUJRP.zip/file E. Honda (SNES) by PsyCHo puNk. Unavailable to download. Mentioned in the now defunct Mugen 4Ever site. Chun-Li (SNES) by GohanSSM2. Unfinished beta. https://www.gohanssm.com/chars3.html Correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard that Slack86's versions of his Ryu appeared to be password protected, so their files can't be opened. Forgot to mention this in my earlier post, but Robo Z's Sagat is actually taken from the SNES version of Street Fighter II. An actual GIF of OCariocaNildo's SNES T. Hawk:
  22. Sparckster by chava63: https://www.mediafire.com/file/v4qmu2pd4w907i6/sparckster.zip/file A really ancient version of Sparkster, with its files dating back to March 2002, a few months before Pneophen made his own version of the char. It's pretty much just a spriteswap of Ssonic's Super Sonic, except that the sprites from that char have been replaced with Sparkster's and its sounds were unchanged. By the way, here's an actual GIF for Axel Gear:
  23. Oboro Bishamon by Amakiti. This character still remains in the author's site via the Wayback Machine. For some reason, it was listed in this collection twice. You have it in the "Official Characters" section, as "Amakiti (beta)", but the .snd file is missing, so I'd like to preserve the whole file that's been hosted on its DL links below. Here is where I found the character and its .snd file from, and as what I've mentioned, they're taken from the author's site: https://web.archive.org/web/20060504084234/http://amakiti.hp.infoseek.co.jp:80/zip/bisha.zip https://web.archive.org/web/20060504085550/http://amakiti.hp.infoseek.co.jp:80/zip/bishasnd.zip Or alt. link, where I just added the .snd file inside its folder to make the full file complete and reuploaded it: https://www.mediafire.com/file/vvzj7wshjp1d3lw/Oboro_Bishamon_%28Amakiti%29.rar/file Here's Pocket Lilith by JerJeon: https://www.mediafire.com/file/h02289x58t7hdxt/PocLilith.rar/file Morrigan by Fujy. Unavailable to download. Forgot that this version of this character existed, but it's mentioned on the Random Select site via the Wayback Machine. Well, here's Dark Morrigan by goku no hito: https://www.mediafire.com/file/o685jpufqt2q41c/d_morrigan.zip/file Do you still have the actual DL link for the converted version of that Jedah? If so, can you please show me what it looks like? Thank you.
  24. Evil Esa, aka Esa by Cursedhand. Original char. Unavailable to download. A poor quality Alice (ROTD) edit that appears to have some new supers that are absolutely overpowered, including some unlimited ones. It could also continuously regain power and one of its moves can hit anywhere on the screen for about 700 damage or so. There are a few more moves this char has, such as one that's the longest super and another one that's an unblockable instant kill whenever its opponent is at low life. Not even Electrocaid knows about it or has it in his Perfect Select, as far as I know. The only possible source that this char is known for is this: https://network.mugenguild.com/rs/ddm/evilesa.html. Because of its overall obscure and rare nature, I couldn't even find an actual GIF for it, so I had to use the GIF for Alice as its preview. Not sure if you're going to add this character as well or just give it a pass. I'm going to leave this for you to decide...
  25. Here are some more hard-to-find characters: Sodom by BlackJack & FallenAngel: https://www.mediafire.com/file/gmfcawqy0uangwv/Sodom_%5BBlackJack_%26_FallenAngel%5D.zip/file Ryu by Mugenite: https://www.mediafire.com/file/9f0vtgjp4xrwmbl/Ryu_%5BMugenite%5D.zip/file Juni by Jin Kazama: https://www.mediafire.com/file/f0ktj61l6uak357/Juni_%5BJin_Kazama%5D.zip/file I believe this is the first version of Juni for MUGEN. Vega by Forgra: https://www.mediafire.com/file/97me1zlry7sxks6/Vega_%5BForgra%5D.zip/file Sagat by Gulasoft, aka Daniel Gularte: https://www.mediafire.com/file/byf5fda5wstsllv/Sagat_%5BGulasoft%5D.zip/file Funny enough that this is edited off of TESTP's Guile, despite that the .def says it uses the creator's Shinobu as a base.
