Post Ur Roster Picture & Roster Mugen Videos
LGM2006 replied to Yuyustars's topic in [ VIDEO SHARING ]
Here is my current MUGEN character roster, since last month (as of 7/28/2023). I am using the standard MUGEN 1.0 screenpack, with the "big" motif for more characters to put into my roster. As you can see on this image, it sure does have an insane list of characters and stages. It took me about 19 days to complete my whole roster and it seems like I have done a pretty well job on it. There are some characters here and there that not many people own nowadays, notably the ones from the DOS era, as well as a few that are hard to find, but I have managed to reupload them. This is a remake of my previous roster from last year, since that one has suffered from many past events and I want to have this one to stay what it looks for now, until that I update it anytime soon. Post Update (1/20/2024): As what I just promised, I managed to take some time to finish updating my MUGEN roster during the end of the past Christmas Eve (12/24/2023), with some more characters and stages, so here's what it looks like now: -
It's been a long time that I haven't been posting anything new on this site after 3 weeks of being quiet, but now I'm back. Anyways, here are a couple of missing characters that I am currently looking for: These versions of E. Honda and Etrigan (I really have no clue on who made them): This one right here appears to be a really old version of the char from the SFII games, dating back to either 2000 or 2001, and this is one of the only pictures that I could find for it. I think Marvelvsdcu's version is an edit of this one. I'm not too sure yet. According to the now closed eSnips site, the uploader said that the author of this char is Alan Grant. I could be wrong though.

Wow, great finding! Thank you.

Toy Mario and Toy Luigi by NESMario aka NESMario123 aka RANK7YGO
LGM2006 replied to Charmugen's topic in [ MAIN ROOM ]
Sorry for the necropost, but that's an impressive job you did for finding those long time lost characters. Thank you so much. I really appreciate that. -
Sorry for the late reply, but honestly, I would have to agree with you. That so-called "sol de plata" char that someone posted is so horribly done that it doesn't even deserve to be added here. Speaking of Cesarsombra, how come his characters aren't separated from the main collection, unlike in the Marvel Comics and DC Comics collections? This may sound like a redundant question, but still.

I don't know if you're going to allow some characters that have a specific gameplay from any MvC game, since I know you have a few of those kinds of characters in this collection, but anyways, here are several different versions of the Hulk: Kamekaze: https://kamekaze.world/ One Winged Angel: http://web.archive.org/web/20180322002246/http://randomselect.piiym.net/hosted/hulk.htm Unkoman Original: https://www.mediafire.com/download/4cnnvxi0mx81bxp/hulk_mvc.rar REDHOT's edit: https://mega.nz/file/BNUQCQAR#069KhkvYarD1bT06xK6kb0K_OCholAw_rfeHCIx1AJw Kong: http://infinitymugenteam.com/FrameCharacters_MvC.htm Blackbocs: https://web.archive.org/web/20130820074632/http://www.worldofmugen.com/characterspage2.htm For those of you who don't know yet, BlackJack later updated this version of the character with much cleaner coding, some more moves, more palettes, two different endings, as well as having Zangief as a striker. It is currently offline at the moment. This one right here is the original, unedited version, as far as I know.

Oops. You accidentally marked Adamskie's Rolf and Juri as online. As seeing how their links are broken, they should be marked as offline, for now.
-
I have one question that I want to ask about this collection: Where are some of the other crappy palette/spriteswaps did that Cesarsombra guy make? And I'm talking about these following characters right here: Crimson Fox Dr. Cyber Dr. Light Enchantress Goldface I don't think I've seen those characters anywhere in this collection. I remember that they used to be in the previous collection, but for whatever reason, in the new collection that I'm seeing now, they were simply left out for no reason. This question might have the same answer, but I'm just wondering why's that.

Here are some more characters that I want to share with this collection. I know some of them may be too old for this collection, but anyways... Weirdly enough, the links to MugenMage's Axel Hawk and Jubei Yamada lead to the links for mm's versions of those characters, which are edits of Adamskie's versions. I have his Axel Hawk though. Found it from an old compilation from 2006. https://mega.nz/file/9C1AGTDT#2aokZ22erKPm5Db7iFW4P8r9cvwMBs874hUGtdwkb60 I also found his edit of Hiro's Big Bear: https://mega.nz/file/NTkmySCS#6gy7p0Ojvy3g4-TOVTrLe6IJiwYHk53G19b0oHIWvdw But I couldn't find his Jubei Yamada, since it's offline for quite a while. Just one correction to make, but in case if you didn't know this, Ex-Inferis' Rick Strowd is actually an edit of MugenCreation's version.
-
Oh, okay. Never mind then. I've seen it before. Thanks for letting me know. My post can be deleted now, though I'm not sure if that's gonna work.

Here are a few characters that I would want to share with this collection, but sadly, they are all offline: Kazuma by Ssonic Rolf and Juri by Adamskie. These were actually made before NHK made his own versions of these two characters. Proof: http://web.archive.org/web/20010501130733/http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown-Yoyo/8831/pic.html

Here are two more Haggars that I would like to add (Both from FF3), except that they are unavailable to download, for now: BlackJack's version. Nothing much is known about this version of the character, but I think this was the first Haggar to be made for MUGEN. OCariocaNildo's version. Found it from Electrocaid's Perfect Select.
-
Oh, did I? Well, this is the place where I was originally going to put these characters into, though it's been a while that the person who was in charge of this collection has been quite inactive after 3 long years. While that he might be back and update this collection sooner or later, I'm not entirely sure if he would allow me to add these two guys to this collection, despite that the game that they came from isn't licensed by any wrestling promotion. By the way, here are the download links for these characters right here if anyone wants them: The Rock by an unknown creator: https://www.mediafire.com/file/gmn6ae2lyo4onew/rocky.zip/file Stone Cold Steve Austin by The HeartBurn Kid Old: https://www.mediafire.com/file/d4i5p1n57l4fz6k/austin.zip/file New: https://www.mediafire.com/file/461d05j949w0f8l/StoneColdSteveAustin_%2850%25_Version%29.zip/file

Here are two more characters that I would like to share with this collection: Lilith Aensland by Baby Bonnie Hood: https://www.mediafire.com/file/12q20jt74n0b7x2/Lilith_%28Baby_Bonnie_Hood%29.rar/file Pyron by Wan, edited by Mgbenz. Unavailable to download. Not sure what to say about this one, but it's mentioned in Electrocaid's Perfect Select.

What about these two characters? I know that I've already mentioned them in my earlier posts, but I was wondering if anyone else has managed to find one of these guys before their DL links went offline. Forgot to mention something about Erradicator's Genesis JLTF Flash, but sometimes in 2007, someone hosted this character and putted it in a certain char pack on eSnips, and I remember trying to look for the DL link for it via the Wayback Machine, but it seems like I found nothing. So as far as I know, this character is lost, and probably will forever be lost. And for Etrigan by an unknown creator, well, here's the preview of what this character looks like: From what I know, it has the same sprites as the one by Marvelvsdcu, but it contains a different small and big portrait, as well as some slightly different animations. There might be more, I think.
-
Hopefully, someone else could find another copy of that Batman, but with the .cmd file included. And thanks for trying, N_N. I appreciate your hard work.

Forgot to mention something about Yua CaVan's Spider-Man in my other post. Even though it won't be added to this collection until that you have decided what to do to make room for some offline chars somewhere in the near future, it was an old DOS character with the filename "spider" and it was made back when MUGEN was still new. But somewhere in the early 2000s or so, the DL link to that character and the author's site have went offline entirely. Several years later, on Electrocaid's site, he even mentioned this character in his list of missing MUGEN related data, which can be found here: http://dsarena.free.fr/Forum/index.php?topic=9.0 Then, a few years later, it was uploaded on MA, with the author's name being left as unknown, as well as being converted for newer versions of MUGEN, though I won't be posting the site's DL link to it. By the way, here's a link for this version of Spider-Man, along with Yua CaVan's site, taken from the Wayback Machine, which unfortunately, the DL link to the char doesn't seem to be archived: http://web.archive.org/web/20010721155214/http://www.avalon.net/~twerp/

Well, despite that you were originally not going to add those paletteswaps of Carnage and Venom, as well as (e)magius' two different versions of his Captain America, the reason why I felt like I wanted to share those two versions of Captain America with this collection, along with MarVEL_MAN's Iron Man, and even Matheus' Spidey in my earlier post, instead of the Marvel vs. Capcom collection, is because they don't seem to have a specific gameplay from any MvC game yet (ex. MSH, MSHvSF, MvC, etc.), considering that they're unfinished betas/alphas, though (e)magius, well, at least he did put in some moves and accuracy for his Captain America, but still. Another reason is that I'm here to help you out by sharing some of these lost and found characters so people like me can make this collection very big.

Marvel vs. Capcom (1, 2, 3, Infinite) Collection
LGM2006 replied to GreatFunk's topic in [ COLLECTIONS ]
Here are some more new links to some of the following offline characters with their links in this collection that are also dead as well (Note: I didn't find that many new links for the rest of those chars because I would probably feel too tired to do so.): Dr. Doom (MSH) by WhiteMagic2002: http://web.archive.org/web/20060316013715/http://www.angelfire.com/ny5/whitemagic2002/files/Doom.zip Venom by Carnificina: https://www.mediafire.com/file/vmhrz5amnwuqg2w/Venom%5BCarnificina%5D.rar/file Psylocke (MSH) by Qkrtkf: https://www.mediafire.com/file/8rzw92h41oji0ep/Psylocke_%5BQkrtkf%5D.zip/file Gambit (XvSF) by Camrat: https://www.mediafire.com/file/y7spiu5wxq2hafi/Gambit%5BCamrat%5D.rar/file War Machine by Akiraz: https://www.mediafire.com/file/978mu3w6p4mxssv/War_Machine%5BAkiraz%5D.rar/file Guile by Synk: https://www.mediafire.com/file/y4wx50syylq4r1k/Guile_%5BSynk%5D.zip/file Cable by Cloudius, with the error fixed in its Hyper.cns file (maybe?): https://www.mediafire.com/file/itrat7ouyoomage/Cable_%5BCloudius%2C_Fixed%5D.zip/file Cyclops by Reza: https://mega.nz/file/hl9XmRqA#21eVL2hhcsHR3TeNgs5rxewMnHb3yZsnv2Gr_eb5lkg Mech Zangief by Corntortillas, formerly known as KoYoTae & One Winged Angel: https://www.mediafire.com/file/ewo52vqwep7vuxc/Mech_Zangief%5BKoYoTae_%26_One_Winged_Angel%5D.rar/file The rest of the other offline characters would have to be marked as red for now. Someone who is more skilled than me in finding some new links for some of those other chars might want to help you out. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience, but that's all that I've got for now. Forgot to say this, but like your remake of the Mortal Kombat collection, you might want to mark this collection as a W.I.P, due to an almost abundance of dead links for some of the character versions out there and I've been working really hard to find and/or upload some new links to these characters and the other characters that I have posted the other day. -
Sorry for the late reply, but @HappyDappy666, Charmugen has already provided you a link for an unknown creator's Donkey Kong (The creator is actually Robo Z, in case if you didn't know, though the .air file has been tweaked by an unknown editor) in the other topic. Here's the download link for that character that you were looking for, just so you know already: https://www.mediafire.com/file/7rl914vb0nlhq23/dk.zip/file

@N_N Hey. Thank you so much for bringing some of those lost characters back online. I really appreciate that. Post Update (7/1/2023): It looks like there are a couple more characters that I just remembered existing way back then, who have also gone offline for a while as well: Invisible Woman by Loona. Probably the first version of Sue Storm/Invisible Woman for MUGEN. Ultimate Spider-Man by blackcat_natsume. Don't know what to say about this one, but it looks like an edit of a certain Mega Man character, based on what I just saw from the author's site via the Wayback Machine.

Duke Nukem by Wing Syo. Original, unedited version. The one you have is an edit of Wing Syo's Duke done by Juan Carlos, which seems to be a bit more common outside of Chinese speaking MUGEN sites. It can be found here: https://archive.org/details/wing-syo-mugen-characters And I reuploaded the character as an individual link on MediaFire: https://www.mediafire.com/file/l6f70v54mm23kc2/Duke_Nukem_%28Wing_Syo%29.zip/file I never really knew that Wing Syo made this character until just about a week ago. I always thought that Juan Carlos made it, but boy, it seems like I was wrong. But still, I wanted to refer this character as one of his "creations". Last, but not least... Duke Nukem by Juan Carlos, edited by TheCraftyTitan: https://www.mediafire.com/file/piyc8yaqih8ghgr/JuanCarlosDukeNukem_%28TheCraftyTitan%27s_Edit%29.zip/file An offline edit of JC's Duke that can be seen in these two videos: Well, not anymore, because this character has already been saved by me. Now, if anyone is asking me this question: Where did I get it? Well, I got it from an old Latin American MUGEN compilation from 2006. And in case if you didn't know, TheCraftyTitan was actually the editor who only replaced Duke's Arnold Schwarzenegger-like voice with his actual one and removed the "ISM" system from the bottom corner entirely, probably to make him more faithful to the source material that he originates from, as well as giving him four extra palettes, so that guy isn't involved in the making of the original 1.4 version until that he later edited this character by everything that I just mentioned above. Note: I had to edit the .def file a bit, just so I can have one of his palettes to show up in-game. Post Update (2/11/2024): Doom City by Dr. M and Doom II by Mongolito404. Both stages are unavailable to download. Mentioned in the old Mugen 4Ever site.

Speaking of some other stuff that have been offline for a long time, what about these following characters?: Batman by Shamrock. In case if you didn't know this already, it actually uses the same sprites as Cybaster's version, except that it's a spriteswap of P.O.T.S's Charlie Nash, even it still has some voice bits from that character. Azrael by Team Spoiler. Probably the first version of Azrael for MUGEN. Uses MarVEL_MAN's Iron Man as a base. Etrigan by an unknown creator. The first version of Etrigan for MUGEN, before it was later edited by Marvelvsdcu. That Guy Gardner you were talking about earlier was made by Erradicator, ToF, GMSpectre, SLotman, and JasonTodd. I think I have seen an archived link for that character before and what it looks like, based on what you just described. Robin by blackcat_natsume. This can be seen in this video: If I remember correctly, its sprites were taken from a game based on the 2003 Teen Titans cartoon, but they were poorly ripped. It would be great if anyone could find a DL link for one of these characters mentioned above.

Here's Erradicator and Black_Dragon's old version of the Flash. This is the original, unedited version from 2005. https://mega.nz/file/oasmABDT#O5BBg-GXfbo8vZlHL0Foi8WBE_9pbXitv5fiUa2kRL8 The one you have seems to have some slightly altered sprites, which were done by an unknown editor in 2007. Not the one that looks like it has the same stance as this one, but the first one after that Firestorm character. It was pretty infamous for being one of those cheap characters out there, as if it contains two supers, though one of them becomes an easy infinite. And in case if you didn't know, Erradicator actually first made the Flash by taking the sprites from the Genesis version of Justice League: Task Force, back in 2003 or so. Here's where I got my evidence from: http://sweetmugen.free.fr/download.php?id_creation=943&id_auteur=21 Unfortunately, it is unavailable to download, and I've seen it in many old MUGEN rosters, though I never got my chance to see an actual video of it. Oh, and that other Flash with the sprites taken from the SNES version of Justice League: Task Force by "Unsigned" is made by FirePunk, despite that he didn't make a Readme for it, unlike his Batman. That Raven in the "Other crap" section was actually made by joy games, I think.
