  1. The link to Zolagun's Huitzil/Phobos is dead, if I'm not mistaken. Here is a new link that I found in the other Darkstalkers collection on MFG: https://www.mediafire.com/file/4vrsp1h01xsty1e/Phobos_New_%28Zolagun%29.rar/file Also, you forgot this one: Anakaris by an unknown creator: https://www.mediafire.com/file/mr4g1b48qh1zwca/Anakaris_%28Unknown%29_Author.rar/file An unfinished beta, mainly for collection purposes only. Post Update (6/27/2023): Baby Bonnie Hood/Bulleta (MvC) by Beximus. Original, unedited version. https://www.mediafire.com/file/wy9nxzfmsmb2j3i/Bulleta.zip/file Found this from the Marvel vs. Capcom collection. Sasquatch by Adrian: https://www.mediafire.com/file/q91btjnmkayurff/Sasquatch_%28Adrian%29.rar/file A poorly coded Sasquatch that comes with two different versions: A VS-style version and a cheap-type version. Post Update 2 (6/30/2023): Hsien-Ko by Plusher. Unavailable to download. I think this was the first version of Hsien-Ko/Lei-Lei for MUGEN. Appears to be an unfinished beta, from what I know.
  2. Just a minor correction to make, but that Glacius by "Lampard201" was originally made by Vital Zero. When Lampard201 uploaded the character on MA, he left the author's name as his own name, so I think he probably hasn't figured out who made it yet. Also, I would like to share this following character with this collection: Jago (KI1 SNES) by Wonko, aka Ownko: https://www.mediafire.com/file/ztzfzd9tgqu77xu/Jago%28Ownko%29.rar/file Extremely rare and obscure char from the year 1999, now found by me. It still remains in an old site via the Wayback Machine. Converted for newer versions of MUGEN. I'd like to thank someone in the Wayback Machine from the past 2 months for archiving this lost piece of history.
  3. Oops. Looks like you accidentally put ByteZero's name on there for Leonardo, twice. That Cyber Shredder by an unknown creator is actually the same as the one that I just uploaded yesterday, along with its author's name being found.
  4. Human Grunt (Half-Life) by Ninja_Naruto: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xfne43xwivr96ky/Grunt.rar Couldn't post an actual GIF of this character, due to Imgur saying that it's an invalid file type, but here's what the image looks like above the DL link. War Machine by Ninja_Naruto: https://www.mediafire.com/file/bif5bc78498hvyo/WarMachine2.rar/file Don't know if this one counts, but according to the Readme, it says that it comes from an abandoned Half-Life mod called "MechMod". I could be wrong, if it turns out to be an original char instead. Found this from PZT's char pack. I'll leave this for you to decide.
  5. Here's Hannibal's older version of his Superman, dating back to 2002. Version Beta 1.314 NS. https://www.mediafire.com/file/bx26j7419elfkfx/Super.rar/file Found this from an old Italian MUGEN site called "Danger Mugen" via the Wayback Machine. No sound file has been implented yet, but it later comes with one a year later. It's not as good as the latest version that you currently have, or Kal-Elvis & Friends' update, or any edited versions that the character would later get, but it's here if you want to add it to this collection.
  6. That Devil Jin by "TC" in the craps section was actually made by Spinicci Giacomo, aka KingStar, as stated in the Readme.
  7. Shadow the Hedgehog by HiRo (Not to be confused with the creator of the same name who made 009 and/or HIro=hiRO): https://mega.nz/file/xK1yiACY#Ib6DJlbtg-4T2ykrUmH6oP_25MF2Ihw1dMKxErUPgng A pretty old (and hard-to-find) version of Shadow from Sonic Battle, dating back to 2005. Cheap, as if it can continuously heal so it can prevent from having a low health bracket. It also comes with two unique palettes, one of them is Super Shadow and the other is Dark (?) Shadow, as well as having a Japanese voicepack, predating ABAB's version several years later. I tested it on MUGEN 1.0, and it works surprisingly well. Shadow by Sion184 & Ssonic. Unavailable to download. I think this is the first version of Shadow for MUGEN. Extremely rare char. Found it from a Japanese MUGEN site via the Wayback Machine. Appears to be an edit (or at least a paletteswap) of Ssonic's Super Sonic. A picture of Shadow by Sion184 & Ssonic below: Here's another character that people almost forgot existed: Dr. Robotnik by Bane84: https://mega.nz/file/5WF2yDga#Kz5YyRoeeTYuZ8U0PbtCQz9jlHCPUmy98kH_hcDdkT4 Possibly the first Dr. Eggman/Dr. Robotnik made for MUGEN. Sadly, it has no sound file, considering that this is the only copy of the character that I could find at this moment. I don't know if the author himself really made the sound file for it, but still. Just a couple minor corrections, but that Super Sonic by an unknown creator is actually Ssonic's previous version of the character, which has been frequently used in most videos about it. The same thing goes to that Werehog char (I think it was made by sc1614, but I'm not sure though). Dr. Robotnik by Mugendude26: https://www.mediafire.com/file/9q217z55165503p/robotnik2.rar/file Haven't seen a preview of this character yet, but other than that, I don't really expect it to be any good. Classic Knuckles by MageFX: https://www.mediafire.com/file/plrkxidf8spn9qj/knuckles.rar/file Supposedly a recreation of Knuckles from the Classic Sonic era games. It's WinMUGEN only, from what I know and requires some editing for it to work on MUGEN 1.0+. The author himself also made a Dark Super Sonic, in which that I'm also adding too: https://www.mediafire.com/file/0xhucx6sxzabjpe/1972_DarkSonic.rar/file Amy Rose by Uglook: https://www.mediafire.com/file/qdoj2tobls9j60m/glookAmy.zip/file Another old version of Amy from Sonic Battle. Not sure what to say about this one, but it seems to be an edit of Cyanide's version. Here are some more characters that sc1614 has made: Blaze the Cat: https://www.mediafire.com/file/h8cruglj5w0b4zq/blazedacat.rar/file I think this was the first version of Blaze to be made for MUGEN. Sonic (Modern Sonic with classic-styled sprites): https://www.mediafire.com/file/irtp376c49rfs0x/sonic3.rar/file E-123 Omega: https://www.mediafire.com/file/nb9tzwokoy31z5t/e123omega.rar/file Here's one more offline character that you might be interested in adding: Teeno's edit of Cyanide's Shadow. This can be seen in this video: Not that much different happening from this edit, except that it has an updated stance, as well as having some new moves given by the author.
  8. For some reason, the link to Alejandro Iaccarino's The Tick leads to the link for another version of the character, which was made by DarkMasterS. In case if you didn't know, there used to be a link for Alejandro's version that was hosted on 4shared, as stated in the description from the character's preview on YouTube, but it seems like that it's already dead, and as of now, it still remains on MA, but I wouldn't want to post that link for it because it is against the site's laws.
  9. Leonardo by ByteZero: https://web.archive.org/web/20150727073117/http://bytezero.mgbr.net/ Looks like this version of the character still remains on the author's site. Trying to check if the download link to it is working or not, and it is. Michelangelo by The HeartBurn Kid: https://www.mediafire.com/file/h7qm073by3nq5h7/mike.zip/file Probably the first version of Mikey for MUGEN. Now converted for newer versions of the game engine by the author. Cyber Shredder 2.1 by DarkMasterS: https://www.mediafire.com/file/0hriilrn5vtbbqi/cshred.zip/file As far as I know, the author actually made the character in both regular and psycho forms, in case if you didn't know.
  10. Also, do you accept any offline characters that have been missing in action for a long time? I mean, I can show you some, if you don't mind. These two versions of Red Skull: This one here seems to use Heidern as a base. Don't know what to say about this one, but it looks like a headswap. I don't know who made these versions of this character, nor that I've seen them in any other videos or images. These following symbiotes that are paletteswaps of Seth Zankuten's Carnage and Big Eli King's Venom repsectively: Agony Scream Riot Toxin Lasher Hybrid Venom I know you have Phage, which is a paletteswap of Carnage and is unfortunately the only downloadable one out of all these edits, but I'm not sure if you're going to put the rest of these characters as well. Spider-Man by Yua CaVan. Probably the first version of Spider-Man for MUGEN. A few of these characters that can be found in this thread: https://newmugenworld.blogfree.net/?t=346807 And this includes: Daredevil by Erradicator and Black_Dragon, edited by an unknown creator. Seems to be an edit of the Flash. HumbleStoner's edited version of Deadpool. Not sure what else to say about this one, but it looks like an update of Santana's version. Namor by Pepsi_man. Again, I don't know what to say about this version, but from what I know, it uses the same sprites as SLotman's version. All of these characters here are unavailable to download, for now.
  11. Iron Man by MarVEL_MAN. Original, unedited version. Another old DOS character that has thankfully been converted for newer versions of MUGEN. https://mega.nz/file/8bsTmCpK#MiPHmYLxgH6SUTIK2XMxdnc4CBURrf2dLqcDkUG8gIU The one you have has been edited and dubbed as "Super Ironman" by MICROmor, who also made Super Cyclops. Not sure if this gets either the Hydra symbol, like its edited version, or marked as unfinished, like that Meltdown character, since this version of this character is in a very early stage. I'll let you decide, after that you're done seeing it. There are a couple of mistakes that you might want to correct: 1. The first Mysterio was made by wemersonftj. It is a spriteswap of that Superman Black character, who is already a spriteswap of MarVEL_MAN's aforementioned version of Iron Man. It was first released in this thread: https://mugenmultiverse.forumotion.com/t2875-mysterio-for-download 2. The link to James' Thanos (Yes, that's the name of the unknown creator who made this character) actually leads to the link for CPoC & Splode's Thanos. Need the actual link for it? Here you go: https://mega.nz/file/RBZkjYZA#wO9fararoVHlObQ-yI4AxmwgZrxCIo_qNP2QvY49wvg
  12. Seems like this collection needs to be updated a little, because some of the download links for some characters are already dead, mainly the ones that were hosted on 4shared. Would it be okay if I can replace those dead links with some new ones for some of the character versions that you have in this collection? Just asking.
  13. Here are some new GIFs for Ace and Jade Enmko:
  14. True. That version of Ryu can't be added to this collection due to that reason, but I heard that the author himself later updated the character to newer versions of MUGEN, in case if you didn't know. It's offline at the moment. Also... Fei-Long by Gscool. This can be found in this link: https://network.mugenguild.com/rs/ddm/feilong.html As what the review implies, it's a poorly edited version of Zamtong's version, with some overpowered moves, badly edited sprites and sounds, bad palettes and CLSNs, poor coding, and a cheap AI that can take too much damage, in addition to having bugs and infinites. Unfortunately, it is unavailable to download, for now. Post Update (6/26/2023): Looks like this same Gscool guy that I was talking about the other day has edited and butchered yet another character: Classic Ryu by Crazy for SF. Found this edit from Electrocaid's Perfect Select. Unavailable to download. There is this one version of E. Honda that I found in this picture. It's right next to Iceman: I don't know who made it, but probably one of the first versions of E. Honda for MUGEN. Also unavailable to download. About OCariocaNildo's T. Hawk. The sprites from that character were actually ripped from the SNES version of Super Street Fighter II, so it should be moved to the "Console versions" section.
  15. Just a little correction to make, but the "Smackdown! Ring" stage is actually made by Ruben (Not to be confused with the late Reuben Kee), according to its .def file. World of Mugen was the name of the site that hosted the stage.
  16. Well, before that I changed the .def file from the character just a bit, its original date was 5/11/2002, which I'm pretty sure it was already modified. It might be hosted in some old site (I don't have any info on what the name of that site is. If anyone knows what it's called, thank you) and it was originally hosted on either Infiinma's site or the MUGEN forum "MUGEN Being". By the way, I have already reuploaded the DL link for the character that you were talking about: https://www.mediafire.com/file/5be8s9rtrbwdb3a/Donkey_Kong_%28Infiinma%2C_New%29.zip/file As far as I can confirm, this is the only copy of the character that I could find at this moment. Well, sorry that I edited the .def file a little. I didn't see you coming here. Thanks for telling me about it.
  17. Apparently, Infiinma has updated his Donkey Kong 3 months after that he has first released the char. Here's the download link to his latest version of Donkey Kong. Version 0.99. https://www.mediafire.com/file/5be8s9rtrbwdb3a/Donkey_Kong_%28Infiinma%2C_New%29.zip/file Found it in another WinMUGEN compilation. It's much more completed, but the specials and hypers still aren't implented yet, compared to the common beta version that you currently have. I can let you keep the old version, but I'm not sure if you're going to add this one as well. Just one minor correction to make, but the edited version of Infiinma's DK that has Robo Z's name in it is not Robo Z's version, but just a copy of Infiinma's aforementioned new version of his DK, except that an unknown editor in 2007 only replaced the original small and big portraits with some custom ones. EDIT: I had to reupload the DL link for Infiinma's latest version of DK. Thanks to Charmugen for pointing out the issue that's in its .def file.
  18. You're welcome, Emaserranista. By the way, here's another character that I have uploaded already: Captain America by (e)magius. This one here is the latest version, also known as Team Justice. https://mega.nz/file/ZHNDgJzJ#TF3w7h5opv0DaRJ0UiOOCsvCHZiezuK1nz9PxMkj2Pc Don't get fooled by the filenames, because this isn't the Justice from Guilty Gear that we're talking about in this thread. Has some palette problems with its sprites, but I have already managed to fix them. Here's a download link for the previous version of this character: https://web.archive.org/web/20070203155952/http://dangermugen.altervista.org/nuova_pagina_8.htm This one here is also known as Captain America Zero, or Cap-Am0 for short.
  19. That Evil Ryu by "Unknown" is actually made by Dr. C & Mr. M (Not to be confused with Dr. M), as stated in its .air file. Oh, and the author of Evil Zangief is KoYoTae. A link to where it mentions the character's author's name: http://sweetmugen.free.fr/download.php?id_creation=532&id_auteur=227 Not sure if he really made the character, or if an unknown editor has decided to just make a paletteswap of his Zangief.
  20. Spawn by OverMind: https://mega.nz/file/FX0x2JbY#5rwP3qfqkUXJw6nHjDFK0iTgWkJE-vjU2vtZQZUHuSk Converted for newer versions of MUGEN. It's mostly the same as ThEOnE's version, but the gameplay is a little different. I can't be sure if OverMind and ThEOnE are the same person, but I'll let you decide and/or compare between the two versions of this character. I'm kinda surprised that nobody has ever posted this one here or talked about it before, but... Spawn by Jo: https://web.archive.org/web/20090207085614/http://createandplay.free.fr/pages/j7.php Shortcut to DL link: https://web.archive.org/web/20070105073658/http://gfamdb.free.fr/jo/download/Spawn.zip The good thing is that the download link to this character is working.
  21. Max Payne by Spinicci Giacomo, aka KingStar: http://web.tiscali.it/homeof2d/mugen.htm Warning: If you are trying to download this character, then you will find out everything wrong with it. The sprites here are an absolute mess and look more like cardboard cutouts. It's also a spriteswap of Juan Carlos' Duke Nukem 1.4, even it still has some leftover sounds and projectiles from that character. It should be "K.O.D", not "G.O.D" for K.O.D/Ninja_Naruto's version of Max Payne.
  22. Ken Masters by Charlz, aka Charlzn64 or Charlz Loke Pallow. Latest version from mid 2000, now converted for newer versions of MUGEN by the author. https://www.mediafire.com/file/kjrvj57po4c24y5/Ken [Charlzn64].zip The one you have is a previous version of the character, but it only works for earlier versions of DOS MUGEN. Post Update (6/23/2023): Here's an updated version of Guile by Shin Hayato: https://www.mediafire.com/file/0n7stnr444bburr/Guile [Shin Hayato].zip The one you have was a previous version, but with a different portrait and it also has one of its palettes that was later replaced in this version.
  23. Surprised that these weren't here yet, but Ayustat made patches for John's B. Jenet and Freeman, so they can work in newer versions of MUGEN. https://web.archive.org/web/20190310153025/http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown-Knight/3232/patchya.html
  24. Here's Warner's long, lost old version of his Krusty: https://web.archive.org/web/20030403171608/http://hispamugen.iefactory.com:80/hospedados/personajes/krusty.zip Found this while browsing through old MUGEN sites. It should be noted that this was actually his very first character that he made, with its files dating back to 2002. Appears to be a spriteswap of Qkrtkf's Birdie. What's unique about it is that it was also first released with an English voicepack, unlike some of his other characters that he would release later on. And it looks like the English voicepack for Warner's old version of his Homer by Meatball is already inside the character's folder while opening it, as far as I know. I may be wrong though.
