4 missing characters that I'm trying to look for...
LGM2006 replied to LGM2006's question in [ CONTENT REQUESTS ]
That's a pretty impressive job that you just found the author for those two characters. I appreciate it. BTW, while I was visiting DEL's site, I also saw a version of Sparkster that I would later find to upload in another topic. It's not Pneophen's though, but by the same person who also made that weird Ryu edit. Besides that, I even spotted Warner's older Krusty, which I also shared on this site. As mentioned, he was originally a spriteswap of Qkrtkf's Birdie, except that he isn't known as the same creator's older Wario, who also happened to be a spriteswap of Big Eli King's self-insert char. Also, when you mentioned the other characters that DEL did not get in his hands, I think you might be referring to those Dragon Ball Z, Queen of Hearts, and SD Gundam characters, plus some other chars that were relevant at the time, such as Rapterrometh and Juan Carlos' Duke Nukem (despite that he somehow managed to get his spriteswap, Max Payne by KingStar). The real reason why he/she didn't include the former ones was because there was an issue with listing them out, as if there were more than one variant of the same looking figure. Though a possible reason for the latter ones was that he either hasn't recognized them or didn't have enough time to put them in his collection. -
4 missing characters that I'm trying to look for...
LGM2006 posted a question in [ CONTENT REQUESTS ]
Looking back into these two links from this old Japanese MUGEN site by DEL... https://web.archive.org/web/20040824112911/http://www.geocities.co.jp/Athlete-Acropolis/5191/175rl.html https://web.archive.org/web/20041007225029/http://www.geocities.co.jp/Athlete-Acropolis/5191/175rm.html I saw four different characters that I wanted to look for. And this includes the following: Keegan by Cipher44 (?) Robert Johnson MUGEN Ball by Saiai/ShadowFox Keishi Dare? Here I have the first character right here, which is Keegan by Cipher44. For those of you who don’t know who this creator is, he was known for making various Mortal Kombat characters, as well as the fullgame "Mortal Kombat Integral", but that one is a whole different story because I want to talk about some of his other characters that aren't MK related. One was his version of Luke Skywalker from Star Wars and the other was Keegan, the character that I'm mostly going to cover for this topic. Judging by its preview, it's an original char and it's supposedly an anthropomorphic cat-like character with claws. There was a DL link to him on Cipher's old Geocities site that I found in some other MUGEN site, but of course it doesn't even work anymore. The second character is Robert Johnson. Not sure who made this char, but from what I see, it's some sort of rabbit character who appeared as a boxer that looked quite similar to Heavy D. I could be wrong, but there's not that much information that I can search for with this character. The third character is MUGEN Ball by Saiai/ShadowFox Keishi. As mentioned before, it appears to be a ball char with a dark red color scheme. Again, not much to say about this character, but from what I can guess, it might have some similarities to fellow character Bola by VIB. Apparently, it was also mentioned in another list of MUGEN-related data that are missing, which can be found here: https://web.archive.org/web/20230920090420/https://pastebin.com/CYsVAH3V And finally, the last character that I just mentioned here is Dare?. Also not sure who made it. I have no idea what the hell it's supposed to be or do, but it has a really strange and peculiar appearance, as if it had a chef hat, as well as a black and yellow outfit. It can also be found in a screenshot where he was fighting against Biko Daitokuji in a MSH stage, in certain sites such as MUGEN Revolution and Andromeda Free. Forgot to mention this, but these are also the characters that Electrocaid needed for his infamous Perfect Select. But in any case however, if any of you guys happen to have some of these chars, I'd really appreciate it, even if they may not be any good while revisiting them. Thank you for reading. -
Sparckster by chava63: https://www.mediafire.com/file/v4qmu2pd4w907i6/sparckster.zip/file A really old version of Sparkster, with its files dating back to March 2002, a few months before Pneophen made his own version of the char. It's pretty much just a spriteswap of Ssonic's Super Sonic, except that the sprites from that char have been replaced with Sparkster's and its sounds were unchanged. By the way, here's an actual GIF for Axel Gear:

Oboro Bishamon by Amakiti. This character still remains in the author's site via the Wayback Machine. For some reason, it was listed in this collection twice. You have it in the "Official Characters" section, as "Amakiti (beta)", but the .snd file is missing, so I'd like to preserve the whole file that's been hosted on its DL links below. Here is where I found the character and its .snd file from, and as what I've mentioned, they're taken from the author's site: https://web.archive.org/web/20060504084234/http://amakiti.hp.infoseek.co.jp:80/zip/bisha.zip https://web.archive.org/web/20060504085550/http://amakiti.hp.infoseek.co.jp:80/zip/bishasnd.zip Or alt. link, where I just added the .snd file inside its folder to make the full file complete and reuploaded it: https://www.mediafire.com/file/vvzj7wshjp1d3lw/Oboro_Bishamon_%28Amakiti%29.rar/file Here's Pocket Lilith by JerJeon: https://www.mediafire.com/file/h02289x58t7hdxt/PocLilith.rar/file Morrigan by Fujy. Unavailable to download. Forgot that this version of this character existed, but it's mentioned on the Random Select site via the Wayback Machine. Well, here's Dark Morrigan by goku no hito: https://www.mediafire.com/file/o685jpufqt2q41c/d_morrigan.zip/file Do you still have the actual DL link for the converted version of that Jedah? If so, can you please show me what it looks like? Thank you.

Evil Esa, aka Esa by Cursedhand. Original char. Unavailable to download. A poor quality Alice (ROTD) edit that appears to have some new supers that are absolutely overpowered, including some unlimited ones. It could also continuously regain power and one of its moves can hit anywhere on the screen for about 700 damage or so. There are a few more moves this char has, such as one that's the longest super and another one that's an unblockable instant kill whenever its opponent is at low life. Not even Electrocaid knows about it or has it in his Perfect Select, as far as I know. The only possible source that this char is known for is this: https://network.mugenguild.com/rs/ddm/evilesa.html. Because of its overall obscure and rare nature, I couldn't even find an actual GIF for it, so I had to use the GIF for Alice as its preview. Not sure if you're going to add this character as well or just give it a pass. I'm going to leave this for you to decide...

Here's the original version of Big Bear by Hiro: https://www.mediafire.com/file/90k4sasawvymn2x/bigbear.zip/file And here are two different versions of Laurence Blood (both from RB2): Fujy's version: https://www.mediafire.com/file/fnd9qfp279n2dkg/laurence.zip/file Unknown creator's version: https://www.mediafire.com/file/haj35rvl6m9gx5z/blood.zip/file

Kyo Kusanagi by Seath, aka Zanzoru: https://www.mediafire.com/file/5kwo58w9kz8bci6/pkyo.zip/file

Whoops. It looks like you mispelled K.O.D/Ninja_Naruto's name as "G.O.D" for his version of Max Payne. If you're talking about G.O.D, you might be referring to the MFG user of the same name, who as far as I know, is another alias for AlexSin. But the author's real name is K.O.D, like what I mentioned earlier. Also, speaking of Max Payne, I found another version of the character, made by Spinicci Giacomo, aka KingStar: http://web.tiscali.it/homeof2d/mugen.htm A pretty low-quality Max Payne that appears to have some ugly sprites, which makes him look like a cardboard cutout. Also appears to be a spriteswap of Juan Carlos' Duke Nukem char, except the author only removed almost all of Duke's voices. I must say that I was feeling hesitant about the fact that if you're going to add this or not.

Sorry for the necropost, but it seems like you almost forgot to mark SodonHID's Iori as online, as if storm0062 has already provided you a DL link for it a few years ago.
-
Hold on, there's one more mistake that you might want to correct. Even though I already said that Mike Obrecht didn't make that Go Hibiki that I was sharing since it's just N-Mario's older version, you might want to remove Mike Obrecht's name entirely, along with the GIF for the char. EDIT: Never mind, forget about that issue I just mentioned earlier.
-
Well, sorry. I didn’t know that. But I’m happy to help you out though.

Here are some more stuff that I would like to add too, but too bad, all of them are offline: Aleksey Zalazof/Biff Slamkovich, El Stinger/El Stingray, and Victor Ortega by durlyo Black Widow by david_bazbar Slammasters Stage by Ruben
-
Oops. You almost forgot to highlight Carnificina's name as red for his version of Ibuki, since it's still offline.
-
Here's another character that I would like to add: Pocket Ibuki by Ice: https://www.mediafire.com/file/c9jtm3a68h3vcnd/Pocket_Ibuki_%5BIce%5D.zip/file Got this from another old compilation. As well as the following: Pocket Ibuki by Carnificina Pocket Zangief by HeySKA Both are unavailable to download.

Here's a new link for Ex-Inferis' Krauser. Same char, but the previous DL link for it appears to have some palette issues with its sprites, as shown in Fighter Factory. I never tested this character before, but still. This link right here now has all the sprites that I have fixed, so use this link instead: https://www.mediafire.com/file/lx62lvargpf626q/lord.zip/file
-
That Edgar Figaro by "Unknown" was actually made by Jeff Reed, aka Skuld-Chan.
-
Surprised that nobody has ever shared this, but... Chester Barklight by Ran: https://www.mediafire.com/file/yuekyek0ttgepde/chester.zip/file Possibly the first Chester Burklight in MUGEN.
-
Well, by the time I was sharing those two versions of Red Skull, I'm only quite familiar with the one in the first video, but looking at the second one again, I never realized that it was a private version of this character until now. That's a pretty interesting fact to know though.
-
H" also made a version of Balrog/M. Bison from SFA3, in case if you didn't know. I found it while going through PZT's char pack. https://www.mediafire.com/file/b391bbxb75hb6za/bison0.rar/file I will add this in your SFA collection later.
-
Interesting. I didn’t know that. Well, by the time I was trying to share the character with this collection, I could only find an older version that you were pointing out, as if the site “Andromeda Free” was the closest place that I can have this character to download from. Other than that, great finding.
-
Wait a minute. It seems like I just made a small mistake with the second character that I was sharing. This Go Hibiki isn't by Mike Obrecht, but when I was trying to look at its .def file and the Readme again, it doesn't have the author's name, but I'm pretty sure it turns out to be N-Mario's older version of the character. Silly me.
-
You're welcome.

Here's one more character that I want to share with this collection: Pocket Dan by CuecaX: https://www.mediafire.com/file/kpekg7vr31q2snz/Pocket_Dan_%5BCuecaX%5D.zip/file Found it from a WinMUGEN compilation.
-
Here's a new link for all of (^o^)/Descolor's characters: https://onedrive.live.com/?id=9DCEAF8B70603A22!245&cid=9DCEAF8B70603A22 And here's one more character that I just found in which that I want to share as well: Aska by Mature4ever: https://www.mediafire.com/file/x495nbqgtp847pd/aska.zip/file
-
Here are a few more characters that I would want to add with this collection: Rick Strowd by MugenCreation: Original version: https://www.mediafire.com/file/apje6cmt59bq74l/rick.zip/file Ex-Inferis' update: https://www.mediafire.com/file/ffvvf13luqfvugn/rickRB.zip/file Speaking of Ex-Inferis, I have also managed to find his update of Higher & Terry Kuo's Wolfgang Krauser: https://www.mediafire.com/file/f1x3znmos39rfl0/lord.zip/file
