Broken combos and damage, bullshit specials and supers (some of which aren't even MvC2), frame data is nuts, hitboxes, and everyone having a divekick plus divekick infinites... prolly more, but that's all I ca name from the top of my head.

I personally think if Kong characters we're balanced more, they would be solid.

Well usually users get banned for applying negative feedback, but for something positive? That's pretty dickish and ridiculous. And it's no surprise it's from vollysaurus rex himself. What a manchild.

    INTRODUCTION
Welcome! Been quite a long time that I've released something. This is SFV SP at Beta. What's left to be done is just the lifebars. If you need help with the PSD files I'll gladly post a tutorial later. Right now it's just for release purposes and opinions to frequently update or give separate motifs for this screenpack. This screenpack comes with 84 select slots with 1 random slot in the half of each row.

PSD Files are located in the download link. Try to figure it how to use it but the localcoords used at the moment is 426.66,320.25 for traditional 320,240 characters. Sizes are doubled for 850x480 resolution. Sizes are triple for 1280x720 resolution. A comprehensive portrait tutorial will be made in this section later.
Requests can be made that is not a select port for cursor (since it is SFF edited) and I included a motif psd file if you guys want to customize your roster slots.

DivineMorrigan and Yamori X for Morrigan and Lilith characters as template holders for portraits.
Street Fighter V (Capcom) for Music Sounds and Theme Integration for screenpack.

Feel free to ask any questions. Requests will be taken. The system.def file has another stage font edited for only text if one may wants to use more than the stages that can be provided through only ASCII fonts. Also radar effect also has been done but there are no videos for it to show it yet. Lifebars will be done after through time. Download link will be up when it is fully uploaded. NOTE: RAM HEAVY, must have good computer to run this. 1.1 only.

    *Yu-Toharu's Miku
People get salty over it purely because of the AI. Need I say more?

    *Choiyer's Haruhi
This is understandable considering that she's rather unbalanced and has unnecessary hentai compatibilities, but the character gets more hate than it deserves.

    *Zero Sennin's Haruhi edit
99% of us can agree that Zero's edit to Choiyer's Haruhi is considerably a downgrade to the original (me included), although the amount of hate for this surpasses the hate for the original Haruhi.

    *Drowin's Earthbound characters
They're often hated for being shoddily done and glitchy which is true to an extent. However, these characters were made and released back in 2005 and haven't been updated by Drowin since. The same can be said for his Naruto and Itachi.

    *Merufimu's characters
I can definitely agree that Merufimu made insanely cheap characters, but they're fun to play as and can provide a challenge to those who decided to fight them (Provided you're at least a novice MUGEN player). The only parts of the hate I can fully understand is the unnecessary cheap modes and unbalanced attacks.

Flowering Knight got a reaction from BigLuigiGuy211 in Barney and Ultra Barney
Welp, I found them, saw no threads about 'em, and now I'm postin'.

Barney's a simple character most of you have heard of.  He's not very strong, and it should be very difficult to beat most characters using him, albeit not impossible.
Ultra Barney (the one on the right) is a different story.  Those who visit Salty Bet may have seen him in action, and the best way to describe him is that he's hilariously broken, being able to drain an opponent's life bar in seconds.  It is glorious.

Flowering Knight reacted to RobotMonkeyHead in Grasshopper (Character Balancing / Frame Data Tool)
    Hello MFFA peoples!

This is a character balancing / frame data tool I made a couple years back called Grasshopper.  I finally just finished polishing it off.

It allows you to gather multiple characters' frame data and damage values on a chart.  You can easily copy / paste / move them around for averaging and comparison.  It's geared for creators and editors who want to make highly balanced characters, or balance out existing characters or rosters.

You can group the characters data however you want.  By game, or play style, etc.  Grasshopper will then tell you the frame data averages for these groups and allow you to compare that average against specific characters data.  It will show you either the difference between the two, or the average between the two, whichever you prefer.  This will give you a clear sense of what damage and frame advantage you should set for each attack of your character.

Frame data for comparisons can be found on a reference site, or by using the Training character to get the frame data from existing Mugen characters.  Grasshopper actually comes with about 5 or 6 characters frame data already loaded on it.  If anyone decides to upload and share their frame data (partially or fully filled charts) for the good of the community, here's a thread specifically for that project.  Hopefully, over time it could build up to a little library type resource of frame / damage data which could help bring much needed balance to the Mugen!

(A couple SF2 / SF3A characters frame data are included, along with links to pages where you can find more.)

Here's a gif that nicely shows the type of data Grasshopper works with:

    Other possible uses:

    Here's some pics:

    And here's the link:
Download Grasshopper 1.0  - Contains original OpenOffice version, and a Microsoft Excel '97 exported version.
Download Microsoft OpenOffice - Free open source excel / word / draw clone.  The program Grasshopper was made in, and the sure way to run it.

    tl;dr
Spreadsheet for viewing, comparing and averaging characters frame data and damage.

Flowering Knight reacted to O Ilusionista in SPEC OPS MB-01 RELEASED!
The wait is over. And I can’t believe I will say this finally: After 12 years, MB-01 is done!
    [INFO]
This character makes part of the project Street Fighter Special Operations, which has begun at 2002 in MugenBR (RIP) forum. Spec Ops is a full game which tells an alternative story about Street Fighter, from an alternative future where cyborgs are a common thing. Prototype Weapon MB-01 is the rival of Perfect Weapon MB-02, which was made initially by me and SodonHID, then redone be my and Ethan Lives.
M.Bison obsessed with controlling the world, Charlie capture to cyber experiments with in order to build an above normal fighter, able to be his right arm in and Shadoloo help you get DNA from several fighters to build a perfect fighter (later would be known as MB-02). However, due to several factors, this prototype does not go as expected, and ran away from laboratory. After an investigation, it was discovered that he had not fled, but was stolen.
MB-01 is a metamorphic character, made by tons of nanorobots, which makes him looks like a liquid metal.
Warning: For those who doesn’t knows about Spec Ops, all the characters on this project does MASSIVE damage.
Side note: There is a error at the debug, which happens only in Mugen 1.0 (works fine in Mugen 1.1) and I don’t have any idea why it happens. If you find why, just let me know.
Really thanks for all people who support us for all those years! If you check the readme, you will see how old this project is :)
