    HE'S FINALLY HERE!!
     

    Ranno, The Poisonous Pacifist from Rivals of Aether has now officially made his way into MUGEN! To be honest, I was kinda expecting people to make the RoA cast sooner thanks to their popular Steam Workshop content, with it being considered as "MUGEN except Smash-style". Nonetheless, I am proud of the work I put into my first stand-alone character and I hope you are too.

    Jesus, can you stop being so damn condescending? You literally have no right to be a dick about your feedback and act all pompous about stuff that you yourself have gotten wrong. Get off your high horse and get real for a change. I'm only reciprocating the attitude you gave Joey. You don't treat other the way you want to be treated, you'll be treated the way you treat others. That's life.
     
    I'm not gonna derail this thread because you can act all high and mighty about your feedback and can't put your money where your mouth is.

    Hi, AI guy here with a rebuttal.
    Jesus Christ, go back to early 2010s. You can't get away with "waah stolen coding" anymore. If he knows what the code does to a T, he should be allowed to use it however he wants. I'm willing to bet YOUR super jump code is even original in of itself.

    I'll be honest, this feels rushed and unfinished.
     
    -Lacking SFX
    -missing sprites, resulting in him going invisible for some hit animations
    -he slides when defeated by certain attacks, such as Knuckles' Running punch
    -Palettes feel unfinished, having a dark blue for the shoes still
    -Taunt lacks hitboxes, making him invincible when using it
    -said Taunt is impossible to use without using 1.1b's console and using changestate (insert player number here.) 196
    -the 25x25 is just an awful resize of the head
    -some attacks are easily spammable
    -some attacks do to little damage
    -his only hyper does too much damage
    -a hyper that occurs even if the target wasn't hit
    -it's also activated by just press z, requiring no effort at all.
    -the cornerpush occurs on the hyper, so if the player is pushed back, the hyper is useless.
    -the portraits look poorly done, being drowned in white pixels, and lines.
    -some hitboxes are used too late into the attack, resulting in the opponent being hurt by thin air.
    -some hitboxes are too big
    -KFM's sounds are still being used even though they have no meaning.
    -Running is impossible
    -his walk speed is absurd
    -trying to do the Taunt when crouching will result in a seizure when releasing from crouch until you move
    -trying to run results in an invalid state trying to be used.

    Then let the enemy attack you while you automatically blocked and see what happens!

    Hello, everyone! Here is my first stage, made using ripped assets from the source game, Rivals of Aether! It has the music and animations from the source game. Some details, like some of the fire is excluded because I got too lazy, and it wouldn't be much of a difference since they're mostly unnoticeable in the original game anyway.

    Ok.
    -ahem-

    - Walk speed is insanely high (wayyy too high for any character)
    - Debug popup shows when trying to run
    - Literally every single standing attack is an infinite in some way shape or form
    - Why is the only crouch move medium kick? Why not the other attacks
    - That stepping noise I find unneccessary (combine with fast walk speed and that speaks for itself) should be gotten rid of
    - No projectile limit (especially on hadokens)? Why?
    - Missing hurtboxes on basic things like taunt and launcher
    - Speaking of launcher, it feels slow and clunky for P2. Almost like there wasn't gravity to begin with while they fall
    - Misaligned hitsparks basically everywhere
    - All attacks play way too fast. Throw looks so jank I almost couldn't tell it was a throw at all.
    - Misspellings also basically everywhere
    - Hyperjump is all 3 punches and not just Down, then Up?
    - Despite all those infinites, he still feels really weak and does little to no damage

    Rowser also tested this and found other things:
    - Portrait for MUGEN 1.0 has incorrect palette, or no palette at all
    - Jotaro also has a messed up palette, where no black outlines exist where they should
    - Why doesn't the Gun special have a helper projectile? Making it like a normal attack means someone like Geese can counter it, even though he shouldn't be able to.

    I'd hate to tell you this, but you've got a lot of work to improve here. If ya miraculously get all these problems taken care of in a... *mouth* then maybe I'll consider this an ok character.

    Hi, my name is Simon Charlier. I'm the guitar player of Sercati and The Nightstalker (metal bands)
    I would like to ask few questions
    We would like to adapt our universe in mugen game, but we didn't know anything about mugen game.
    In our songs, we tell the story of a fallen angel (Our main character - The Nightstalker) who decided to descend on Earth and protect human of the demons of Lucifer. And we would like to know it's possible for someone to collaborate with us to made a mugen game about our characters and universe (sprite of the character and other). The universe is really good to made a versus fight game (each character has his own fight abilities)
    We released 4 albums with Sercati and 4 albums with The Nightstalker about this universe and we wrote 1 book about the adventure of The Nightstalker.
    Whe have also released a comic book and a movie about our main character.

    Well, I tested out Ed, and it was pretty cool.
    But here I had found some problems for him for ten:
    -He doesn't even move and slides by on his run forward stop state:

    -One of his lie dead sprite looks still weird, check this one for instance:

    -As for this intro not fitting in, his shirt disappears for a second:

    -Eddy appears again after he left angry in the intro looks like that:

    -And for Glippo Ed intro, he jumps out of the chest too early before the chest opens:

    -Also I noticed that for the "HA HA HA!" card in this intro:

    -His Punch in the nuts state keeps looping like that.
    -He looping on his end air guarding animation.
    -I notice that happens for the Midnight Bliss state look like that:

    -And for that, I saw this notice for Eddy after the round that he suppose to be:

    Well, that's what I could spot this problems for him, I hope you need fixing him... ;(

    So....just to let you guys know, I did NOT do this Revamp.
    A guy named, Joey the Tricky revamped it for me cause it had a lot of flaws and such.
    I tested it before releasing this, and the coding was utterly ridiculous. So I made some changes myself.
    Here's a list:
