Is it just me or does Ashley Winchester bear a striking resemblance to adult Chrono Harlaown from the Lyrical Nanoha franchise?

Well, I watched this video of Drew Gooden's a few days ago and it really inspired me to create this thread: And it got me thinking, what franchises (they doesn't necessarily have to be from TV but...) do you guys think had/have jumped the shark at some point and/or made you think that they had/have gone on for far too long? Well, here's a couple of franchises I think had/have gone on for way too long: - Digimon (Too much Adventure nostalgia [especially with the new reboot coming out] and the anime has been going off rails since Xros Wars/Fusion but hey, at least, the games and toys are good from what I've heard) - Lyrical Nanoha (As much as I love this franchise, I admit that it should've chronologically ended either on StrikerS or StrikerS Sound Stage X because ViVid and Force seriously both didn't need to exist. However, ViVid Strike! was surprisingly decent, the movies were awesome, and I'm anticipating the new project that they are going to do though. So, it seems like the franchise is finally getting back on track at least.) - Yu-Gi-Oh! (The card game is getting better as they're going to release the new master rule this April. However, the anime's quality has been in shambles since Zexal. And with Sevens coming soon, I think I'm going to just skip it like I did with Zexal, Arc-V, and VRains.) - Pokemon (the whole Dexit controversy and introduction of microtransactions in Generation 8, nuff said) - Dragon Ball (Two words: Ultra. Instinct.) - Winx Club (Again, I still like this franchise. It's just that it has too maannyy seasons with an eighth season that just came out last year and with an ugly new artstyle to boot. I've heard decent things about it though so I guess the franchise is improving somewhat then. However, I still feel like the franchise should've ended right after either Season 4 or Season 6 though.) - SpongeBob SquarePants - The Loud House (this show should've never been made, period) - My Little Pony (same as TLH) - The Simpsons - The Swan Princess (This franchise has become the Alpha and Omega of animated girl franchises even since they've been churning out those medicore CGI direct-to-video sequels one after another in hopes of cashing in to children and nostalgic millennials who grew up watching the first three movies on VHS. It's just a coincidence that both franchises were both created by Richard Rich so yeah.....) - Naruto (The franchise hasn't been good since the Pain arc.) - Marvel Cinematic Universe (Why did they make Avengers: Endgame if they knew they would still be cranking out more movies after that anyway? Hey, that sorta sounds familiar though....) - Star Wars - Bratz - LOL Surprise (Bratz Babyz 2.0: Ugly Boogaloo) - Peppa Pig (same as TLH and MLP) - Monster High - The Fairly Oddparents - Puella Magi Madoka Magica (same as TLH, MLP, and PP) - Evangelion

I have another one to share: - My Little Pony is one of my least favorite and most hated franchises of all time. I honestly don't get the appeal of it (especially Generation 4/Friendship is Magic at least to adults). I just find it so boring, extremely sappy, and uninteresting to me. I've watched/seen so much better shows and franchises out there that are centered around one or more female characters than it (like/such as the Lyrical Nanoha franchise [besides ViVid and Force], Totally Spies, the Love Live franchise, Cardcaptor Sakura, etc.). If you like MLP, good for you. I respect your opinion. I just don't like it at all. Okay?

Okay. First mechs (Mecha Musume), then Japanese mythology (Touhou), then operation systems (the OS-tans), then monsters (Monster Musume), then aircraft (Strike Witches), then video game consoles and companies (Hyperdimension Neptunia), then boats (Kantai Collection), then animals (Kemono Friends), then politicians (Taiwan's 2016 Presidential Election), then cells (Cells at Work), then video game characters (Bombergirl), and now guns (this)? Seriously, what's with East Asia's weird obsession of making things into kawaii-desu moe girls? What's next? Classic cartoon characters? Food?

Oh and... - Also, I would love it if the Tiny Diamond rap from the Trolls: World Tour trailer became a meme.

I have some more: - Pokemon should've ended on Generation 6 or at the very least, should take a break with its mainline installments. The series has really jumped the shark (or should I say, Sharpedo) with Generation 7 and 8 (especially the latter). - Make Your Move (that one dance movie with BoA [yes, the K-pop singer BoA] and one of the guys from Dancing with the Stars) is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. - The Digimon anime should've ended on Savers/Data Squad. - "Hate speech" laws and most laws banning 'adult'/'offensive' content (like p**n and violent media) are against human rights and violate our freedom of speech and our freedom of expression. - I am afraid of robots and artifical intelligence taking over us all. - A part of me wouldn't actually mind if the universe was reset. The world is increasingly becoming more chaotic and authoritarian so we might have to start over to try to prevent this from ever happening again at some point. Or at least change our greedy and selfish nature for something more humanitarian and kind. - The horror genre is my least favorite genre. I just don't like getting scared, that's all. - The Symphogear and Lyrical Nanoha franchises need to do a crossover together. - Cross Ange: Rondo of Angel and Dragon is the worst anime I've ever seen.

It's really sad that there's probably more Pokemon characters made in MUGEN (a free fighting game for PC) than those who are in Sword and Shield (a $60 Switch game).

I do make a visit to my community college's library every so often. It's a neat little place. It just needs manga and more good and interesting DVDs/Blu-Rays though.
