IF you go that route, do your research on these webhosts. Some lie about what they offer. It's why I changed hosts the first time around. e.g. UNLIMITED store and UNLIMITED bandwidth for x amount of money, but they just stuff you and a bunch of others paying nicely on the same server (hence why paying for a server on its own is usually so expensive, yet webhosts can offer such "great deals" My site wasn't even generating THAT much traffic but we had random downtimes during the night, some overseas users like Ghost couldn't even connect at times. These kinds of host work better if you have an individual website rather than a forum. I'm not saying this is the case with BlueHost (apparently I looked at them at one time but i dont remember why i didnt choose them), but be careful.

2nd tho i'm the 60 year old employee who keeps complaining and threatens to quit every week and never does it and then out of the blue never comes back...

The plight of running a website. The money. =/ I hope someone comes forward who can help. If worst comes to worst, is there no way to use a cheaper alternative and still keep posts and such? I think the true mffa-ers will support the site, no matter how it looks/operates, as long as content and friends are around.

I'm quitting but I don't know if i'll be back so i'll just call it a break. I quit last year and came back a few months later so.... I didn't want to make a post like this (again) but me being quiet as I am, I don't think leaving in silence would be best. No one would notice. Sorry, I want to leave a paper trail. All in all, this isn't fun to me anymore. I thought learning how to make characters would change things, and it did for a bit but....there's just not much joy in it anymore. I don't even play mugen anymore. I keep trying to revive a dead spark for this engine by making stuff but i never finish it anyway. No one really expects me to finish either so that's a real motivation killer sometimes. Every project I touch or start seems to fall into shit, or just falls out. It's disheartening. Most of my friends have already quit. I keep going back and forth and i'm legit tired of doing that, so this is my final decision. If i could, i'd delete my account so i don't get tempted to sign back in here. i mean i stopped posting here anyway. i dont really fit in here anymore lol... I digress. Regarding Tier 1's return, that's no longer happening. Even if I come back, I won't bring it back, at least not under the same name & purpose. I'd also like to use this as an opportunity to retire this username as well. I'll be using my real name from now on. Genesis.....Demitri just feels correct now. To those select few who I enlisted help from(they know who they are), I sincerely apologize. I feel like we wasted- no, I wasted your time. I did have the best of intentions, but maybe this isn't the first time something like this happened and thats why no one else has ever done what we were about to do. I will say, I did get to love you guys in the short time I got to know you. I wish you the best of luck in your personal lives, mugen careers, and whatever endeavors you have in the future. i really have no desire any more to "complete" these. at least not on standard res. but then i dont play on HD anymore so then the whole thing is nilch. the most i could see happening is taking the lifebar & port design and applying it differently. maybe new anims if i feel up to it. that wont be for a while though. mugen is eh to me now. i'd rather work on things for my own game.
