ReadMe says it's 'netz's version, solidifying what I said earlier about the two versions being one and the same. Saying that, this pretty much confirms that these are outdated versions released prior to the addition of the helper select.

'netz's stuff already comes with the necessary files to remove the helper select, so yeah, no need to add them. It's also possible that they're simply outdated versions. I usually do

Depends how the glyphs are laid out; if the lowercase k appears after the open square bracket ( [ ) or the semicolon ( ; ), it'll fail to show up if these glyphs aren't using their hexadecimal values (0x5B and 0x3B, respectively). Mind posting the font up so I can take a look at it?
