 My fifth and possibly my second personally most anticipated MUGEN character project will reimagine the leader of the SOS Brigade under my own custom gameplay style. Her gimmick will heavily involve the use of her fellow SOS Brigade friends as assists to bolster Haruhi's neutral and combo game that will actually differ from the way Choiyer executed it as they will be limited by a gauge, but cost no power unless she is using them in the middle of attacking. I'm pretty excited in my own take at this character.

The graceful and gentle Hotaru makes her way into MUGEN seeking to reunite her family, but this time in a completely custom gameplay style! However, she still retains the essence of her King of Fighters XI/Neo Geo Battle Colosseum incarnations right down to the intricate stance system. Hotaru may be a higher execution character compared to my previous characters relatively speaking, but that doesn't mean she isn't any fun to use either.

 All previous characters made by me have been updated significantly, so, definitely get them now that they have all been noticeably improved.
 
All characters
- Improved jump buffering.
- Improved Burst buffering, bursting should be made more reliable now compared to before where it would fail in many custom state instances.
- All grounded normals can be canceled on hit against aerial opponents, making them safer to use and better for punishing.
- Many aesthetic improvements for both FX and SFX.
- All characters now can wall tech much like how they can air and ground tech.
 
Sayaka Miki
- Tweak damage scaling on Affetuoso, should do slightly more damage at the end of combos now.
- Slightly increased her juggling.
- Fixed a bug on 6y that caused MUGEN to randomly crash.
- Now has a wall jump, increasing her mobility options.
 
Hieda no Akyuui
-A list long enough that it's just easier to say that most of the things pointed out by RicePigeon in her respective thread has been addressed.
 
Homura Akemi
- Decreased her juggling.
- Tweaked damage scaling.
- Fixed a bug for Rebellion that occasionally caused the cutscene to fail to play even on hit.
- Slightly reduced her j.2z's OTG set-ups at higher combo hits.

Around... Two years or so? Anyway, I'm back... kinda. New palettes, a few attacks were updated, some other stuff. The new select screen big portrait was drawn by Metalwario64.

PALETTES

 
Some palettes have special properties, like different voice clips, intros, and victory animations. However, two actually impact gameplay!
Zero: The usual. Nothing special here. Bass / Forte: Has a special victory animation. Axl: Nothing special. MMZ Zero: Nothing special. Vile / VAVA: Nothing special. X: Nothing special. Black Armor: Twice the attack, half the defense. A glass cannon. Nightmare Zero: Has a special intro. Omega Zero: Has a special intro and victory animation, as well as changed voice clips and projectile sprites. Includes white twitchy aura. Zero's winquote reacts to this. Fake Zero (X2): Nothing special. Black & White: Nothing special. Absolute Zero: Infinite special meter, afterimages, and doubled projectiles. Also has white twitchy aura, because why not? UPDATE 1: I forgot to add MASA's Simon to the Winquote thing properly. This is fixed now. The download link has been updated.
UPDATE 2: Link fixed and the third slash of the second mode's first combo fixed. Now the first combo deals 5 hits, just like the rest of them. (In some tests, even more hits. Why? I dunno.)
UPDATE 3: Took me a while to get around to uploading this one. Found a couple sprites that were still messed up, and fixed them!
UPDATE 4: Finally. Update 4. Not... actually that much has changed, except for a few aesthetic changes (portraits), mostly new palettes, and... I can't think of much else. Also, completely rewrote the post above.

As many of you already know, Алескей has decided to step down from his admin role.  It's been an absolute pleasure to work with him.  He's always in good spirits, and he brought a ton of knowledge to the table.  Saved our asses on more than one occasion too.  Definitely the behind the scenes guardian of MFFA, and we're all sad to see him go.  But as life would have it, someone with his skills definitely has a lot of opportunities, and he no longer has the time to commit to administrative duties.  So he's on to bigger and brighter things, and I know I'm not alone in wishing him all the luck in the world.

So here's everyone's chance to say goodbye, show him some appreciation for overseeing the site, getting us through some really tough downtimes, spreading his infinite Mugen coding knowledge and sharing his kick ass creations with all of us!

So, there are a few characters ported from Magical Heroines Plus! for M.U.G.E.N, so I decided to do my own port of a character that hasn't been done yet, Doremi Harukaze!

Two months of work were worth it, I had to manually rip the sprites using Animget (capturing frames), Photoshop(removing the background) and GIMP(creating a spritesheet and palettes).

The commands are all included in the readme.txt file inside the character's folder.

The disillusioned magical girl of time is here to battle for her best friend at all costs, Homura Akemi is finally complete and ready for your MUGEN. Turns out this character was relatively easier to do compared to the complexity that was Akyuu and my first attempt that was Sayaka. As before, she operates under the same base gameplay mechanics as my previous characters, however, she focuses heavily on zoning and keepaway unlike the the other two.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT. I have never before in my time in this community seen anyone be more of a scumbag shithead than Ax. And I've seen people be elitist douchebags, people with heads up their ass, and people that bitched and whined for just editting their character even if said edit drastically improved the character. And somehow against all odds, you manage to surpass the scummyness of all these people I've witnessed. Never would I have thought I would feel so much anger and hate for the actions of someone.

So let me get this straight, you make these shitpiles in the hopes that someone is able to use them for their work. Well congrafuckinglations, for some reason Idaho was willing to do something with your Link. He works hard on his Link and all he requests from you is a few additional sprites. You then proceed to tell him to go fuck himself and to make the sprites himself. Uh, are you fucking stupid? If he was capable of spriting don't you think he would have done so? You've "made" the Link sprites already, the LEAST you could have done was make a few more while he continues coding.

Oh ho ho, it gets better. You have the BALLS to call his character bad because ONE move is not to your liking. YOU FUCKING UNGRATEFUL PRICK, Idaho worked his ass to make an actual GOOD character and you proceed to shit on him? He should have been more creative with the leaf? You know....the thing that was never used as an attack and strictly for getting from point A to point B? You know what, given the source material Idaho was right to make it an intro and not an actual attack. Speaking of source material, want to know what wis the best choice to make as a super move? His smash bros. Final Smash. You know that auto combo move you hate? He shouldn't have added it because it's not creative enough? It's the worst choice for a hyper move? That's a load of BULLSHIT. Auto combo supers are still being used and why? BECAUSE THEY MAKE SENSE AND ARE EFFECTIVE AS SUPER MOVES.

OH BUT IT GETS FUCKING BETTER. You're still not satisfied and want to shit on Idaho even more by telling him that not only his Link is a bad character(This, coming from Ax of all people? HA!), but that it will be easily replaced by another? My god, can you possibly be even more of a shithead? APPARENTLY YOU CAN, because now you claim that all those things you said were your feedback to "improve" the character. Besides the fact that your feedback is UTTER SHIT, you can't go accusing people of not taking feedback well when YOU YOURSELF DON'T EVEN ACCEPT FEEDBACK TO BEGIN WITH. Wow, hypocrite much?

Thanks for letting us all know just what kind of sack of shit of a human being you really are. When even the white knights that were willing to defend you decide instead to turn against you, you know you've seriously fucked up. Your kind are the cancer that threatens to kill this community.  AT-4 is a simple looking projectile super with low priority, but underneath the surface lies an interesting way of scaling its damage off a combo. The higher hitcount you end a combo with this super, the less it is actually scaled from previous hits. So, you'll get quite a hefty reward for ending lengthy combos with this move.

 After working on this character for nearly half a year (with a few months of delay due to PC problems in the interim), I finally release my first MUGEN creation using Otz-Kai's version as a resource basis. While her gameplay takes some inspiration from various fighting games such as Marvel vs Capcom, Melty Blood, Guilty Gear and King of Fighters, she is otherwise completely custom. Have fun!

Oh, and I have a few other ones:
I hate Puella Magi Madoka Magica with a burning passion! The main protagonist is an all-around wimp who doesn't transform until near the end of the series, Kyubey is a sadistic stalker, the show treats magical girls in a negative light (I know it is supposed to be a deconstruction of the genre but it doesn't mean you have to make being a magical girl a bad thing!), the fact that people praise it for being so original and groundbreaking even though tons of magical girl series have had those types of themes before, and it's just a very cruel and mean-spirited rip-off of a much superior magical girl series which came out the previous year (HeartCatch Precure)! Overall, I think that PMMM is the most overrated magical girl series ever made and one of the most overrated animes ever made. If you like it, that's fine with me but Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha (especially the first 3 seasons) is still the best magical girl anime of all time and WAY better than that pretentious, edgelord-and-elitst-pandering trash in my books. I don't like Disney. They are the Apple of the entertainment industry: an incompetent, greedy, super-overrated-and-overhyped company who seeks to take over the world by making and selling sappy garbage to their loyal customers who are willing to eat up anything by their rodent overlords. Also, I'm baffled that the US government hasn't dismantled their monopoly yet as they've bought too much stuff (Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and recently Fox) over the past couple of years! If Walt Disney was still alive today, then he would facepalm at what his company has become! By the way, the only movies I like from them are Frozen and Lilo & Stitch. Geneon's English dub of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha and Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's was terrible. Most of the voice actors of that dub sounded bored out of their minds and I feel like Christina Vee's voice just didn't fit the White Devil herself (especially when she was a child in the original and A's) that much. With voice acting so bland as oatmeal like that, it's no wonder why they never dubbed StrikerS. To me, nothing quite captures the essence of Nanoha and Fate more than their original Japanese seiyuus/voice actors Yukari Tamura and Nana Mizuki respectively. I like Whoppers (I am talking about the candy, not the signature burgers from Burger King). Sure, they don't taste like the normal chocolates I'm used to but I dunno. I guess I just like anything chocolate with something crunchy inside. I don't get the hate behind lima beans and candy corn. Halo Top brand ice cream is underrated. Sriracha sauce is the most overrated food stuff ever. It's too spicy and there's merchandise of it everywhere for some reason. I just can't stand it. It also doesn't help that people worship it like it was invented by the gods! Yeesh! It's just a glorified, souped-up Vietnamese hot sauce for crying out loud!
