  7. you can't. there is so much technical crap in the characters that taking them out will break them. BEST you can do is go into data and copy the common1.cns from the data folder and pasting it inside the characters folder. (all of them) then take them out and put them in regular mugen. they will work. but some may still be very buggy.

  9. yes. just scale it down to the size you want it to if your using a vector or digital drawing. then convert it to a PNG (don't use bitmap with mugen, they don't agree) Indexed PNG. (256 color) and you have to set the alpha color as the background color of course, then add it. the wise move would be to scale all sprites down to desired size, and make a sprite sheet. so you can edit everything in mass.

I actually like the character, especially the Yamcha wolf fang fist sound effects, but while going thru the character it sounded like Bloody Roar Yugo sounds, I also like how he flows, its very nice.   12. you need to convert the new sprite to match the pallete box for box of the pal palette. otherwise it wont work.
  13. A word of advice. DO NOT USE BMP. USE PNG. Bit Map images, can do 256 color, but they have this issue where you have 0 control of your palette. You can view it once and it will show up, then you can try again and it may not show up at all. Use PNG, because it will keep your pallete, and will stay indexed.
  14. for your taunt you want the computer to jump 3 times? ok well make 195 change state to 196. in 195, varadd variable 10 to value 1. in state 195 you need 2 change states. 1 change state with trigger var(10)=2 ; This change state will take you back to 0. 1 change state with pos y > 0 && vel y > 0 ; This will take you back to state 195.

  16. you know what. in both of your screenshots. you are not using the same characters. try using sanji for all players or nami. in a team and simul. it is a palette issue, the only option is to make a new small portrait, USING THE SAME PALETTE as the characters.
  17. in regards to the sound. there should be a common1.snd, and a fight.snd open up both of them and run thru the sounds. 1 of them has sounds related to the fighting. simply find the "old" super sound and replace it with the X! sound. as for the select screen you gotta show me a screenshot or something, press the PRINT SCREEN button on your computer to capture it, then paste it in PAINT, save it, then upload it to a website like imggur and post it here.
  18. to make it more aggressive. you literally need to go over the AI coding and change the random value. see there are 2 kinds of AI coding, the OLD Winane variable AI, and NEW AIlevel which is a different valued number. so first which AI does the character have?
  19. he is made for HD mugen. NOT 4:3 regular mugen. you need 1280,720 resolution mugen to truely enjoy him. Just like my Akira and all the other HD characters.

  21. its in your system.def located in the data folder. i don't know if it has another name but is the file that is related to your screenpack. scroll down till you see [selectBG ] and look for the animated dragon logo things. I THINK. the creator accidentally put it to layerno = 1 in the code if it does say layerno = 1, just change it to 0, or remove it.
  22. if the code is a DISPLAYTOCLIPBOARD or anything related to CLIPBOARD. Just delete it, that is pointless player side and meant for creator side of the character.
  23. Capcom is the reason Li-Kun had to remake her sprites. Because Capcom simply REFUSED to, for YEARS, where as Ryu has many revisions.
