You will also be taking on the financial burden of MFFA. You will be paying the bills, and fixing up the site and updating and all that. I use the term "Financial Burden of MFFA" because that is what it has become to me. I love my site, I love my community, I sadly can not afford to pay it even with donations. My son is Autistic, I fear my wife is also Autistic, I'm the only one working. We have some medical bills amongst other bills, I'm pretty stressed out. Who wants to be the New Owner? This is not a debate either, I'm willing to give this to anyone who is willing to pay for it. MFFA costs 45 dollars for 3 months of hosting (but you can buy a 1 year 2 or 3 year package but its expensive) Invision Power Board cost roughly 75 dollars to renew Yearly (I believe yearly) Domain Registration is 15 dollars a year, But as of now it's good until 2017. Guy, This is serious. I love you all. I really do, but I have my own demons to deal with, and I don't have help.

IF I remember correctly. Fighter Maker is a 3d fighting game engine for the PS1. You can essentially make your own 3D fighting game character's and put them against each other. When I saw it , it looked a bit limited.

A method I do for chain combo AI, is I have a varrandom, randomize a variable for me within the range of 100 or so. and if the variable lands on a number range betwen 0 - 24 25 - 49 50 - 74 75 - 100 it will trigger different states. I know it's not a perfect 1/4 chance, but do you think this is a good method for coding AI CHAIN COMBO RANDOMNESS ?

You have followed my helper striker tutorial yes? Basically in the win state, your gonna call a helper using the helper code. the helpers position will be off screen of course. no in the helper's state (the person running in) your gonna need a velset code which makes them run on to the screen. and another velset code to stop them, with a trigger1 = time = 30 , replace 30 with a more fitting number. (THERE IS A BETTER WAY TO DO THIS , BUT LETS GO WITH THE EASY WAY) when the helper stops running, you can use a changeanim (within the helper state) to show the help dancing.

UNFORTUNATELY! There is no good place to start with editing storyboards, the best practice you can get is screenpack coding and stage coding. those are the 2 closest things to Storyboards. Even I barely mess with storyboards

I have not been here for a while but i see Alexei taking names and kicking ass (with ranks) I was always under the impression that Author's are people who make "mugen versions" of characters, while Creators are the ones who make original content for it (such as Dragon claw). But whateve's you take care of it Alexei!

It can be turned off. It's just made EXTREMELY complicated. I divedinto his files, I found his CMD file but its only a remap keys and command a. Somewhere in his code, I believe it spawns a helper which acts like the AI. But as Ryoucchi said yes you can't turn it off.

Mugen Archive stole the MFFA Banner when they first came out, I called out the owner on it, and since then the owner of M.A. is salty towards us. also PZT Laxxe32 quit mugen, YEARS ago. He pop's in once even century. I will download this tomorrow.

can you send me just the stand sprites? I want to try adding it myself to see how it works for me.

its the exact same idea as on the ground. except you need to limit the character a little bit. for instance if you add a velset code with x and y = 0, then they won't move. also make sure you set your statdef's physics = N , if your physics = A, then gravity will pull you back to the ground which ususally makes the projectile not happen.

Thank you for sharing these! I would love to use them for mugen, but sadly they lack a decent amount of variation to make into fighting game characters. by chance would you have any kind of SPECIAL EFFECT stuff? such as Dust, hitsparks, ground waves, energy charges?

it's funny actually @BrawlTheMan, When I test played the game myself, ALL I could do was 2 ground punches and MAYBE a air attack if I mashed the keys. Coolanimehustler ripped majority of the sprites, I fixed up some of the moves. He didn't make it easy ripping him.
