    Oh yes, another character from that 90s SFI bootleg for MSX and an unexpected character for a copycat of the first game. Expect a simplistic gameplay as Ken and Joe but fun anyway XD also confirming I'll make the other 3 (Gen, Ninja/Geki and Mike/Balrog) and even a fullgame based on them... mostly to finally say I can make a complete fullgame without getting it on Development Hell (AGP) of being C&D's (CF:IC), hahahahaha

    Hello MUGENites, maybe for those who doesn't know me my name is Matiu (formely known as MetalGuy(213), Cryomancer or Matias2889) i'll give you a short introduction who i am before saying once again my departure to this community.
     
    Well, i'm actually 22 years old (probably who starts reading this maybe i'll be start sawing when i turn 23, 24, 25, etc with the years when i'm not anymore in the MUGEN Community), billingual (both Español and English but my native language is spanish cause i'm Chilean with some Peruvian accent from former peruvian friends) and yeah i've learn't a lot of things in this community from 2008-2017 then when i come back for 2018-2024 in my times when i used to upload a lot of MUGEN Vids on my Channel that a lot of people enjoyed in but everything has come to a end for me at aleast.
     
    I'm the one who has behind for some creations that i did on my time (mostly edits or beta characters related to stickfigures) and when i used to take a load of requests from various random people in YouTube, i've enjoyed it within the years but sometimes i started feeling that it gives me a boredom even sometimes i didn't feel very well mostly in 2017 when i had various issues or struggling with personal problems i took my decision to leave the community for aleast 1 year when i come back saying that almost everything is solved cause i felt at the time a change on my status without involving in so many personal problems (even trough i had few of those but that doesn't seem for me a issue to keep going with myself).
     
    But now... it's time to say goodbye for a second time but this is one that i'll say that i won't come back for a 2nd time because this is a definitive departure from the community because of many reasons that i'll say about it enlisted part by part:
    Since i'm on another PC, this time i won't be focused anymore on MUGEN or even managing in this forums the collections of OTW edits or the Stickmen (drawn ones and Pivot Stickfigure Animator) and cause of my old PC that had a major Hard Disk failure so that explains why in 2022-2024 i haven't show some of my presence of updating the collections even i'm not focused on my YT Channel that is only a memory for those who saw me in these times (even trough some vids got removed cause of the modern terms of Youtube and other videos got age restriction) but the main reason of it... i lost everything cause of the Hard Disk Failure (it means i lose all the characters that i've downloaded even for some reuploads to mediafire when the links are broken or belong to sites that contains some hazard stuff for your devices) I'm mostly focused in other things in my life that i'm likewhat starting a new YT Channel related to other games (i'm mostly playing Terraria or Genshin Impact or some FNAF Games like UCN for example) if i don't have find an job after finishing university so... it means that i've grown up finishing my computer engineering career and i'm awaiting for the graduation in july-august but even i'm focused in the Cosplay World with friends (with or without cosplays, i love to enjoy it but it has to need some cautions) even trough i formed a cosplay group in Santiago de Chile mostly related to FNAF (it's in process for the redemption of it because of the problems that between members had and a conflict between me and a former friend on our leadership leading me to lead the group with a new administration and to renew the image of that cosplay group since i created it in May 2022 then resurrected it in January 2023 to avoid cuestionable or preventing decisions that would look like corruption or conflicts) for the fandom that i've went in 2014 meanwhile i was on my 1st Phase on MUGEN thanks for an Argentinan friend that i've know it even returned to know the fandom in 2021 even curious that i've started cosplaying Bonnie (in it's human version) and i like to start doing it's variants (Toy, Spring, Shadow, etc). My health was mostly important that even the second point that i've mention for it well, i'm taking a breath thanks by friends, boyfriend and getting some profesional help to get my mental health better since i'm looking at myself more calm and relaxed without conflictive or cuestionable friends outside of this community that i've went in so i don't have time to focus on MUGEN (even now in those times when i'm taking a break and a breath after cutting ties with my former friend cause of personal problems and the problem that caused a issue on my group) even i've had in the period of time on 2022-2024 that i haven't touched MUGEN for a very long time and losing interest for some stuff that i've liked to bring to you all but i prefer staying on discover other stuff on my life to start having to focus on better things to feel myself better and renewing each time to start crossing the mountain for a good time but hey! in this lapse of time between february to may-june, my mental health and emotions are starting to progress since i started choosing to feel fine and taking things as hobbies (unlike others who took everything as a competition or something else).  
    So this means a Goodbye (again) for me but i'm still active on Discord as Matiu (username: matiu), Instagram (main account for Cosplays and sometimes gaming), Tik Tok (as MetalGuy213) and steam! (i'm no longer using Twitter/X cause i've removed my account because for the lack of activity i've had with that account) but as i say, i'm no longer focused in MUGEN anymore

    Hi people, as a creator I feel it's my obligation to let you know about this here as I did in Guild. Here's the long story but let me shorten you for effects of this thread: Noneless than Interplay sent me a Cease and Desist mail to stop and delete all the content related to my MUGEN fullgame "ClayFighter: Infinite Clayfare". It was originally sent in July but I just saw it past week, and got terrified about it.
     
    I asked for help in Guild and they helped me to make an answer mail where I clarify this is a non-profit fangame and what I did is a fanart, and if they don't want to get reasons, then I won't continue and I'll comply what they said. But yesterday got their official answer, and it was basically "a game barely can be considered as 'fanart', so delete it anyway." And sadly, that's what I'll have to do, nothing do to against a videogame company.
     
    In the thread I posted the original mail with the C&D, which eventually was leaked from the forum and posted on Twitter, which also spawned some news about it, but that wasn't enough. Eventually my reply and the second answer I uploaded them in my IC Twitter account, so everyone knows about this but posted by me instead to be leaked again.
     
    And with these words, Infinite Clayfare ends... I'm retooling my site to delete the references and the downloads (included the thread I made here in Video Sharing subforum and marked it as red in CF collection). My chars won't be deleted, but now they won't be in the spot again, trying to get below the radar until the seas are calmed. I want to thank to all who liked and supported my game, I appreciate you all, as well all the good messages on Twitter, Discord or forums, it means a lot to me.

    Well, it was inevitable, but I've finally decided to make the decision after 16 years to semi-retire from the MUGEN and IKEMEN scene. This was not an easy decision for me to make, and there is more than one factor involved, so I will do my best to outline them.
     
    The first of these factors is due to real world obligations. My original passion by getting involved in creating MUGEN content was to one day become a software and/or video game developer. Unfortunately, what started as a passion project later turned into an obsession. It began to detract from both my career and social life, as there were times where I felt that if I wasn't pushing out new content on a regular basis that I wasn't doing anything. Eventually, as I began work on Touhou: Gensokyo Reloaded and Touhou: Incident Zero, it began to detract from everything else, and public releases and updates came to a slog (the last thing I released was Futo back in October 2022). In short, I no longer felt motivated, though I initially dismissed this as a temporary feeling.
     
    The second, and perhaps the much bigger, factor involved was my spiritual life. Anyone who has engaged with me over the years is probably aware that, especially since the early days, one of my largest paranoia was the fear of having my content taken down for copyright infringement, a fear that overcame me very greatly back in 2011 where I went so far as to post a fake Cease and Desist letter purporting to be from the legal representative of Team Shanghai Alice (the creator of Touhou Project, which almost all of my content is exclusively based on) as an excuse to step away from the community, only for me to come back in 2013 and admit to the lie. I bring this up because, over the past few months, I've begun to rediscover my Catholic faith, and began to reflect on all this and what I was really doing was breaking the Lord's commandment of "Thou shall not steal", especially considering how the game assets that were being used were not only being used against the original creator's wishes, but also because the source itself was not obtained in a legal or moral method. It became clear to me that this was no longer just a legal concern, but a spiritual one, and I will admit that this wasn't the only sin that I've committed.
     
    I've consulted with my priest regarding this matter for guidance and I've come to the following decision; effective immediately, I will no longer be involved with development of Touhou: Gensokyo Reloaded, and development of Touhou: Incident Zero is hereby cancelled. I would like to offer my apologies publicly to ZUN and Tasofro in this matter for having wronged them in the eyes of God. I've also taken the additional step of removing all downloads to my MUGEN content and deleting both them and the pirated software from my hard drive, as I cannot condone keeping stolen goods in good conscience. While I cannot control what anyone else does, I implore anyone seeking to create and/or continue creating content for the MUGEN and IKEMEN engines to please seek permission from the copyright holder and/or creator before using them unless you yourself created them, not just for legal reasons, but for the sake of your own souls.
     
    Regarding my position as an admin of Mugen Free For All, I had initially intended to also make this announcement to announce my stepping down but, after discussing this with the remaining staff, I've made the decision to stay on staff for the time being. While I can no longer condone creating MUGEN or IKEMEN content using illegally obtained assets or assets used against the creator's will, I still recognize MUGEN and IKEMEN's potential for what it was originally intended for: a fighting game engine, which has legitimate purposes for original content (The Black Heart is a perfect example of this). In light of this, the MFFA community still needs guidance and I would not want to place an additional burden on the other admins.
     
    While things haven't gone exactly as I had initially planned, I feel that the coding and development knowledge that I had obtained is something that is priceless, and I feel obligated to share it in any way that I can, both in my future career path and with anyone who just wants to dabble with the engine as I did for the past 16 years. I apologize if making this post sounds prideful or boastful but it was something I needed to get off of my chest. I appreciate everyone who has helped me throughout these many years and the many friends that I've made along the way. Thank you for reading this and God bless.

    It was originally a surprise release for X-Mas but since I got problems with Guild's server, I release them now. For the first time ever, I release Santa's Workshop, Sumo Santa's stage that was released only as part of Infinite Clayfare Beta 2 (even appeared in the trailer), along with 2 new CF3 stages modified with AI from the prototype CF3/Extreme screenshots: Voodoo Hut (Houngan) and Rubbage Reef (HoboCop), which I made time ago but were unreleased too. So here they are the 3 of them now ready to be used for your MUGEN, so now you got more material to ensemble your own version of Infinite Clayfare 😉

    Final and Last Classic Cartoon Character also my last day a fan of Classic Rubberhose.
    Got all 8 of them and not cancelled the character. I had a new project for another series to work on.
    That mean I gonna miss Felix, Oswald, Mickey, Bimbo, Flip, Foxy, Pooch and entire Rubberhose character from the old 1930's.
    6 Years LifeSpan being a fan of Classic Cartoon, I realize that not much into Rubberhose anymore.
    Reason I made this for bring back the popularity for newer fan to enjoy.
     
    Tried to be fan of those character but It not work for me.

    I spend way too long with Felix the Cat and Bimbo The Dog Sprite next times I'll make new character with solid pacing.
    Should ended it with 3 Years instead of 6 Years. In the past I was unexperience at the times, it take more then 5 years to redeem myself and make a good idea for the characters.

    Finally my other 63 1/3 project apart of Boogerman is ready to stretch your MUGEN!! Taffy comes to MUGEN being almost a carbon copy of ClayFighter 63 1/3 (and in part of Sculptor's Cut), trying my best to make him accurate to the source as I did with Boogerman, with the diference that I don't have to manage sprites as the latter so it's all coding stuff. There're few things I left off (like Insane Combos and other minor stuff) but I don't want you to wait more for him, not since Beta 2 of Infinite Clayfare will be coming on next month 😉

    And with this release, now the 6 new characters of 2023 will be part of the Beta 2 of Infinite Clayfare that will be released in August 2023. Until that, all the next threads will be of updates for various chars, like fixes and new content, and especially an Insane Combo update for some of them like Taffy.     One of the new and exclusive characters from C2: Judgment Clay, a giant baby that use has a spiked rattle as weapon who crawled his way to Infinite Clayfare as one of the 6 characters you'll see as part of Beta 2. Originally I won't do it since there're almost no sprites of him, but since I could rip them easily I made it quick and the result was awesome. As all my C2 characters, his moveset is a megamix of his specials from the game plus the ones from his clone Spike (with palette 12 as his colors), and of course, all the new stuff (like throws and supers) and the 63 1/3 treatment is already in 😉

    I hope you like it, he wasn't of my favorite chars of this game, but I ended love him for his moves and I enjoy to experiment once more. Now still working on Taffy (the original new release instead Googoo) since there I need more accuracy than experimentation, so I need more time than Googoo, but you'll see him soon too 😉

    I've updated all of my CvS2 characters with the exception of Bluestreak. Diepod and I are working on an update with a revamped moveset, and I'll most likely relegate the current gameplay to an EX mode.
     
    Speaking of which... several characters of mine now have EX modes!
     
    The "Nice Things" Update:
     
     
    CvS2 System Changes:
    New, CvS2-accurate pushback system. Works on up to 2 targets. Everything, even guard, is custom stated. A trade system exists too. I did hours of playtesting with this and I am confident I have ironed out most, if not all bugs. Added Tactical Recovery (PPP while down in grooves that have it enabled). Everyone's hitboxes have been revamped with correct data, or in Felicia, Dee Jay, Alex, and Andy's cases, they now properly conform to Capcom hitbox standards. Check my GitHub if you'd like the script I used to check my work for your own purposes. Throws from certain characters that use LP+LK for throw can now be teched the same way. Flame, electricity, and ice GetHit FX should now properly bind to any target. Everyone now has English and Japanese winquotes! Release of Deep Buffering FE, a complete command interpreter and state setting system, more in line with how Capcom does things. Custom pushbox system implementation in System Helper 247 (this helper has a much larger role now). Refined Dizzy behavior Roll Cancel Invincibility Glitch is implemented and can now be enabled or disabled as a system option (only Gallon has it enabled by default).
       
    Felicia:
    All boxes now conform to proper Capcom standards. All sprite inconsistencies have been fixed. More palettes (choose from a selection of 36!) New Chip KO voice. Neko Punch voice sample enhanced A pride and joy: all Japanese winquotes from the Vampire games and Capcom Fighting Jam are now present and translated! Please enjoy Felicia as she was meant to be presented!   Andy: All boxes now conform to proper Capcom standards. Should have more refined basic links now (s.LP → s.MP), (s.LP → c.MP), (s.LP → close s.HP) just to name a few. Shoryu-Dan hitvels have been refined (it should now connect 100% on DivineWolf's Mai)   Eagle: CvS2 box data fixed. New EX mode with a totally new moveset. Tatsunoko vs. Capcom fans should enjoy this! More palettes.   Mike Bison: CvS2 box data fixed. EX mode has been differentiated more (complete list below): Dashing Straight cannot be ducked.     Originally an EX version of Hoppy (since T-Hoppy from 63 1/3 is on plans), I prefered to make his clone from C2 instead. And so Sarge was born, and I gave him his own style to difference Hoppy from the same game. Now Sarge joins Ice and Butch as the third clone to be added to my CF list and another newcomer to the Beta 2 of Infinite Clayfare.
     
    These are the features on him:
    All Sarge moves from C2: Judgment Clay plus a couple from Hoppy (and his palette 12, of course) New throws and supers The complete 63 1/3 treatment: Overhead Attack, Launcher Attack, complete combo system and Insane Combos 3 claytalities

    Now focusing in finish some 63 1/3 chars to get more chars to the Beta 2: Boogerman and Taffy, one of them will be my next CF release, but also I got some that needs an update, so probbaly you'll see them very soon 😉

    The cook and marcial artist who wants a revenge for Sumo Santa but also fights in the good side to stop Dr. Kiln's world domination plans. Kung Pow was one of the newcomers of ClayFighter 63 1/3 as well a walking mock to Asians and a stereotyped character that today would be cancelled if they were made in the 2020s. However, he's one of the most skilled ClayFighters in the game and a lethal weapon in good hands.
     
    Already was made by Some Guy (now GenericFurryDude), version I took and converted into one of my CF chars, using the base for my past chars with good part of the character used (SFF, AIR, SND, move codes in CNS) to make something new and more complete for CF fans and for my fullgame. These are the changes compared with the old Kung Pow (copy-pasted from the readme BTW):
    New base based on Earthworm Jim, with his coding for moves and his SFF and AIR New portraits More voices that weren't in the original char, gethits included Second taunt as in the game (D + Start) New sprites for his KO pose, claytalities and compatibility for them Egg Fu Young now knocks off enemy on the land Combo system from my characters, Insane Combos included All his Claytalities from the game 11 new palettes New intros: a generic one as from my characters and 2 special ones: vs. Kung Fu Man and vs. Sumo Santa & Bonker Compatibility with MUGEN1.0+ (data, winquotes, etc.)

    I expected Kung Pow would be finished later, but it went very quickly, so I decided to work a lot on him to finish in record time, so here you go, another addition to Infinite Clayfare, who eventually will be in Beta 2 during 2023 (follow my IC thread for more details). Enjoy!! 😄
     
    And also made lil edits to update some chars: Sumo Santa, Kung Fu Man and Lockjaw Pooch, the former 2 is for their intros vs. Kung Pow and the latter for a fix in AIR so now the dawg can be cut in half

    Finally I came back to work on Lockjaw Pooch, I made his 3 first moves: Doggie Copter, Collar Throw and Overhead Attack (no photo since the move is easier to do) as well his first palettes, I only kept the p2 from Xandegraf (which is the one from SC) and the rest are original (like the first pic), I played a lot with hue, contrats and bright last night XD
    It left a couple of moves to do, then moved in to the supers and later the claytalities... to in the end make his combo system (inexistent in SC) which will be the fun part since I'll make it from scratch. And I leave you a little question: I love Doggie Copter, but I would like to make it an aerial move too... so what do you think??
