Which is Best Anti-Virus

I have tried Norton, Eset, Kaspersky, BitDefender and Avast so far. I had installed Norton and BitDefender on my old PC build. They were both very heavy on resourses. Even browsing my folders was slow. These issues may no longer exist in the latest releases. I hope so. Eset and Kaspersky were the best choices for my needs. Eset is very light which makes it a must for old builds. I just don't like the interface. Kaspersky is rumored to be heavy on system resources. This is true for older builds, I am afraid. KIS used to add around 15 sec delay on my old system boot, running on XP. I do not see this much on my new build, running Windows 7 x64. I prefer Kaspesky due to the interface. Avast is all right. Its free. To sum up, the better is what works/worked best for you.

Avast > all never use norton hell norton actually gives you fake viruses to make you think its doing something when its not. avast has saved my pc from crashing i lost track of how many times plus its free truly the best.

I use Microsoft Security Essentials, along with Bit Defender and Spyware Blaster. Never ran into a problem. I used to use Avast, but it got tiresome real quick with with its several false positives and ridiculous amounts of time it takes to scan a hard drive.

I use Kaspersky and it doesnt hinder my speed or resources at all. (most up to date one) but i also tried Microsoft Security Essentials, and that also works amazingly well on my other computer, very low on resource usage, and it stops all those bots in those porn sites i visit.
