Demitri got a reaction from Cayne in Vegeta (Extreme Butoden) by Cayne
Launcher coding you just need to adjust the hitdef for the move so they go up and at the height that you want, and have a state to switch your char to by pressing up so you can meet them in the air and so on.
I believe MvC puts P2 in a custom state but you didnt want it like that so yeah.

This has been basically done for a few months, but lack of interest in finishing + lack of interest in the community as a whole + vacation delayed it.
    Anyway enjoy.

that would require you go into their coding, and change the sparkno for every single hitdef where it doesn't show up

    Well,

Besides my personal reasons and troubles, It didn't get the support it needed.
We weren't expecting overnight results but in roughly two months it would have been it's 1 year anniversary. There wasn't a lot to show for that in my opinion.
The fact that it's gonna get shut down suddenly brought people out. That's pretty bad. It could've been me or it could be the state of community as to why that is, but that doesn't matter. I don't doubt in time it could've grown, but let's face it; this community isn't as big as it once was.

In terms of my retirement/leave of the community, I feel like I should share it here. I also don't feel like posting again so I'll leave everything here.

MFFA was the first site I ever joined in 2006. I knew about MFG, but I had no interest in that place or any others like it.
I believe Ryon just started it up and he invited me since we met on Youtube. There were probably like 8 members at the time (I only remember Ryon, Vash, Legato, Sayzo, BigSally, Black Chaos, Jimp/Drunk Ryu, and I think godchrisangelo was a member before he started OrochiMugen).
Things were just funner then imo. In some respects, the community was worse at the time since it was all anti-warehousing, but it was much larger. During the first few years, I got to see this place grow, but I realized I couldn't grow here so I found other places and people. I got to meet the Mugen Royale folks (iirc the remaining T.H.E. members made that, not 100% since I never joined T.H.E.), and thanks to them pestering me to leak SyN's Shin Lv2 Akuma beta, I met SyN who was my idol at the time, and eventually befriended him. Even became global mod at one point (then admin). From there I ended up meeting MOTVN and his crew(Team G/Phantom G's), and eventually becoming part of that as well. With that, came a lot of drama. Even then though, the community was large, and it was fun. I think due to personal reasons + MOTVN chat-banning me, I took a hiatus for roughly a year. Came back in 2012, met up with a few people I remembered, met GLB again who is like my best friend now, Diss came back not too long after me as well, we helped revive Newage, fought with Zeroz which prob added to Newage's subsequent end. Started Tier 1 with AZ a year ago after a fight in the chat, yadda yadda yadda here we are.

The point of all of that is, I've seen and done just about everything. For 10 years, I enjoyed this engine and for 9 years I enjoyed this community. Whatever it is now, I don't like it. I thought the site would help alleviate that feeling but, it hasn't really. Most of the staff feels similar, and I've already lost two who can't stand the community and/or find mugen boring now.
I see it in other creators too. I think I saw O Ilu say something similar, I know SyN is more interested in website coding than mugen. Most of the people I talk to are having more fun doing something else than mugen now.

I wanna make games for a living so I'll probably work on learning Unity and possibly get into webdesign since that looks interesting to me.

I don't think I'll be posting for a long while after this(i'm gonna finish up Lullaby then leave for good I think) so consider this my goodbye post.

It's been fun. I met many great people in this community, and many I can consider real friends even though we've never met and may never meet ever. It's also shown me you can be friends with a person and not even speak the same language, so that kinda gives me hope in life and stuff.

While I still lurk, I'll probably only be in T1's xat, Diss' xat, MFFA chat every once in a while, and Skype.
I apologize for the long ass post too, I just don't want to have to mention anything more before I take my leave, plus I like being dramatic :P

It's not bad to do if that's what you want to do, but it is kinda bad/wrong to release it. You could always say what it is from the start, but spriteswaps have a negative rep for a few reasons. If you edited it further to not be just a spriteswap it wouldnt be so bad(adjust the clsns for the new sprites for example). Honestly giving credit to the original author is all you really need, but saying what it is is kind of important to avoid a ton of negative feedback.
