Already having gone inside, Meimu takes a moment to let her realization of a strange detail regarding the mansion sink in. "This place is a lot bigger inside than it seemed. This could be a problem..." She proceeded to reach for her cell phone opening the Music player in it as she plugged earphones in it and then put them on. "If I'm going to be here a while..." Meimu proceeded to begin playing

Welcome to MFFA! Introduce yourself here!

Cool stages and characters? That's a personal preference, you're going to find a lot of people saying a lot of different stuff. Helps if you narrow it down for us, like what kind of characters and stages you looking for. -
How do you improve this move...?
Darkflare replied to LansingWolverine's question in [ MUGEN CODING HELP ]
Just what kind of mechanics do you have him going against? And being able to hit confirm into his Kick special move from almost any normal and super cancel into the super version from it for easy damage. He's also the shoto and generally has an answer for everything thrown at him. The reflect counter move isn't instant. Which moves? Multi hit moves need to be reflected multiple times first and when done successfully you'll get the juggle set up which again, is where the damage comes from. Uh, not that much meter last I recall. And yea, I would expect to be able to punish a blocked move. He has a dash, AB isn't air game focused and even then Akatsuki can easily hit confirm any air normal into kick special or just go for his air throw. Akatsuki has great normals, has a special for every situation and his moveset overall complements him well. What character you fighting against? I need to know if you're not trying to do an uphill battle with a mechanic that far outclasses ABK's or against really broken stuff. -
Meanwhile in the mercenarie,s base, the sun goddess sits in one of the chairs located in the base's break room. She holds a cup of warm tea which she calmly sips. "Fu fu fu, if it were so easy, it would not be much of a test, now would it?" She didn't speak to anyone in particular. In fact, some of the other members in the room looked at her in confusion but didn't speak up. She had gotten a reputation of being an oddball so her behaiviour was relatively normal to them. "Warrior, can you truly say that you have passed this test?" She looked over at her teammates who continued to look at her in confusion. "Ah, I did it again, didn't I? Please don't mind me, I'm simply spectating an event that will decide a warrior's fate. It has become quite interesting to me." She closed her eyes and gave a reassuring smile to her teammates. Although, it didn't prevent them from still being confused, they did as they were told and went back to their activities.

Haha, you have no idea how to get the most out of your reflect, do you? The counterattack does pitiful damage because that's not supposed to be your source of damage. It's what you do afterwards that gets you damage. After a successful reflect, the counter attack knocks the opponent in a juggle state where you can easily tack on a standing B or C, special cancel into a super cancel. The only exception is Mycale because her counterattack knocks them back further than usual and has to omit the Standing normal and go straight to a special(Which is fine, because the opponent will be far away where she works best) unless they're already in the corner. You'll have to change combo depending on whether your reflect is a standing, crouching or air reflect, but generally you want to do SOMETHING after the counter attack. Think about that before you decide you still want to improve an already good mechanic, -
I think we have a general idea of how we're going to do this. Finish the current sagas and then continue in it's own section. Who knows, maybe this way I'll start bringing my actual OCs instead of my Mugenverse characters. Edit: NEVER MIND LOL. Guess all that's left is to wrap this up.
-
At this point, I think it might be best to do the seperation after the current arcs are done. Light does have a point, there have been a few moments where the arcs have crossed.
-
"I suppose her incident resolving would make her famous. Regardless, I'm far too busy to be explaining things now. If you'll excuse me...." Meimu proceeds to try and go ahead deeper inside.
-
"You mean that sealing her negative feelings inside of her thing? What did she expect to happen?"
-
"I'm not in Gensokyo long enough to notice those things."
-
"Don't waste your time, Yukari isn't going to stop stealing food from her any time soon."
-
"I do, but I'm not going to waste my already short amount of time sending you back when you're going to find some way to come back anyway. I swear to whatever god you pray to that if you make me screw this up..."
-
"Other than the fact that I'm not a shrine maiden, you are correct in that this is a time before the war. In fact, I dare say it's before the events that began the domino effect of your doomed future. Fortunately, we do intend not to allow it to happen in this timeline."
-
Meimu looks around. "The doorguard isn't here. She must be the one that Yukari is making an apprentice." She then notes of "Sakuya" and Time. "I don't think that is the mansion's head maid..." "Another descendant? Did Maribel's presence earlier damage the timestream?"
-
Meimu looks toward the group that followed her through. "You really shouldn't use a gap youkai's gaps without their permission. They might close it before you pass through or make it so it sends you somewhere unpleasant."
-
I do, doesn't mean they're in the right to do so especially when you're going to bash on someone that has already left. That's odd. A lot of places translate that to "Dude needs a girlfriend badly" No, I don't. I'm used to a lot of forums having a rule for it unless there's a good reason.
-
Or maybe you could use those things you call eyes and actually read the post date which takes no more than 5 seconds to read. But hey, for a guy that is too busy "having a life" to bother to spend 5 seconds to read a simple set of numbers with a word in it, you certainly have the time to make a smartass comment.
-
"I can't make that promise, not with our future at stake." She proceeds to gap herself to the front entrance of the SDM "I should probably have asked which one she took as an apprentice, but I have a feeling I'll find that out quickly. I just hope I'm not too late."
-
And you need to pay more attention to post dates.
-
Meimu was rather disturbed at what she just heard. That's not the Yukari I know.... "......." Meimu looked at Hikari "You said this all starts with Yukari's apprentice, right? If that's the case..." She proceeds to open a gap to the SDM. "I still have questions that I want you to answer. But I suppose that will have to wait until we can be sure history won't repeat itself." She proceeds to jump into the gap.
-
Meimu proceeded to open a gap and use it slap Reimu in the back of her head. "Are you getting possessed by a demon? I would expect far better from a shrine maiden such as yourself." She turned toward Yume. "She's right about one thing. I assume you're from the same timeline as the youkai you're holding at gunpoint." She then looked toward Reimu. "When you're back to your senses, you mind using your ying yang orb? Anything that shows you can use it will do, I doubt she'll reason without proving that first."
-
"Yume Hakurei?" Come to think of it, I overheard her say 200 years. A human doesn't have such a long lifespan. i also recall Yukari once mentioning that the orbs only respond to someone of the Hakurei bloodline. Therefore..." "I don't know what I find more surprising. The fact that you're too stupid to recognize your own ancestor or the fact that Reimu will have a descendant to begin with."
-
So, I was right after all. "Well, I've always wanted to know if shooting an alternate timeline version of yourself was considered suicide."
-
"You're hopelessly outnumbered against people that dodge bullets on a regular basis and even then I doubt a rifle like that would be enough to kill any of them." "The human youkai kept mentioning details about her supposed timeline. I wonder..." "But I suppose you knew those details already, Hakurei."
-
I find it very necessary, especially given the examples I gave in that post. Also, I only have fun when the content made is actually well made and can be clearly seen that a lot of effort was put into it. I'm not expecting perfection. Because I believe that if everyone's going to drop their standards and consider half baked rush jobs acceptable, then the Mugen community has died right there.
