  1. I am updating both SSFIV characters after which I will upload the updated version to my SkyDrive as well as MediaFire so please wait a bit........ So you are a SSFIV Abel player? Mind pointing out how I may improve my Custom SSFIV Abel please?
  2. Brightiful!
  3. You are right so in my post I mentioned, "...within the rank name there can be some more distinctions/classifications..." I think some precise definitions need to be considered. Oh I forgot to include lifebars and palettes............
  4. Yes this Chinese/Taiwanese author is really cool. I once posted his "Superman Stop motion - Man of Steel VS Predator" YT video here. Good stuff!
  5. This is my opinion (hopefully a humble one): To me, a MUGEN fan who once has contributed from 1 to 2 MUGEN stuff by releasing then he/she/it can be a creator because he/she/it does creates and releases something to the MUGEN scene. Be his/her/its release some motif/screenpack/fonts/stage/character, or a remixed BGM. So, if it goes by my way then in MFFA there shall be many members being able to get the CREATOR rank. I think this is not deniable that sometimes a decent and complicated MUGEN motif/screenpack/stage can take more effort than any MUGEN characters. I mean.....motif/screenpack/fonts/stage/character value should be treated equally. Perhaps within the rank name there can be some more distinctions/classifications....just a thought.... Moreover, about the rank name.......to me, there are two types: a creator and an author. A MUGEN creator shall be only the one who draws original sprites from scratch, mixes unique SFXs, and mugenizes some motif/screenpack/fonts/stage/character that is not available in any other commercial/homemade/official video games until his/her/its version is released to the MUGEN scene. Hence the word "creation - from 0's to 1's". Good example is Toshio, whose Uran for MUGEN is obviously a true from-the-ground-up MUGEN creation. On the other hand, a MUGEN author shall be only the one who tries to convert existing video game contents to MUGEN. Many examples have already been seen and heard of. Like, I often call myself a MUGEN author rather than a MUGEN creator because I never make any MUGEN materials from scratch.
  6. Year when I discovered MUGEN: 2004 - was searching some video game PC-emulation stuff and came across with a MUGEN web site (forgot whose MUGEN web site though) - then began my MUGEN life (the search-and-download activities mainly) - joined some MUGEN online forums (the see-news and ask-request activities mainly) Year when I started making stuff for MUGEN: mid-2010 - didn't want to be a DOM (Download-Only-Member) any and wanted to contribute back to the MUGEN scene Year when I rage-quitted MUGEN: mid-2011 - couldn't stand those MUGEN Pro's' and MUGEN dudes' constant e-bullying and e-haunting anymore Year when I returned to MUGEN: mid-2013 - saw MFFA's theme title: "Caring Is Sharing" and found out I still want to share to care I realize that somehow I am not able to live without MUGEN....at least for now :o
  7. Just tried your Alyssa. Very solid RC indeed! And, your "Arrows Homing" MUGEN code........so advanced that I don't know how to follow! Oh I like her forward/backward dash! She looks so innocent that I don't want to hurt her at all during which
  8. Wooooooo...happy new year Websta....and really nice OMK MUGEN release in 2014! Finally the popcorn-happy Witch of Certainty has joined MUGEN. It is certainly that Websta's version is beyond awesome! I am sure everybody now wants a MUGEN Bernkastel! Any chance that you might consider mugenizing Bernkastel in the near future please? Let's celebrate her MUGEN entrance by a yummy dance by the very her: P.S. in my MUGEN1.0 there is no any slow-down with her "Full Mode" on, good job fixing OMK MUGEN lag issue........I have to look into your MUGEN code to see how you fixed the OMK MUGEN lagging.....
  9. >> Dot will speak both english, portuguese and japanese. Three (3) languages to be used in this MUGEN character!? So you are going to code some language selector thingy at the beginning of the first round of a match? >> Here is the concept art for punch and kick: Are those for light punch and light kick? I mean light version....
  10. Will reserve a one piece of cake for you when you come back. By means of "one piece of cake":
  11. Continuing with my findings....... Street Fighter Darkstalkers Guilty Gear The Rumble Fish Miscellaneous
  12. Size: 200x200 and 400x400 (A render may do as well) For Sig: Size: Anything under the limit MFFA wants Text: "Au Revoir" Zemilia you like Charlotte? I like to use her both in the source game and in MUGEN
  13. I think it is alright. Except that her arm could have some a blue clsn box, and beam red clsn box could be narrowed down vertically. About adding blue clsn box to the beam or not, I don't want to have such debate again........
  14. Used my usual traditional old "make-movies-take-screenshots-clean-images" method. Many things are missing and messed up during the ripping because there are many technical issues such as screen zooms, character body cut, overlapping, VFX attachments,....which are impossible for me to overcome.....hence the word, "experimental". I am not a magician yo. Perhaps my MUGEN persistence pays a bit. She looks good only when she is not using any of her "energy waving" moves, and is not using close-to-P2 moves, as well as all win/lose poses..... My MUGEN1.0 video setting uses 640x480. So, before I used Demul to rip things, I set Demul video to 640x480 too. As a result, in Custom_Experimental_TRF2_Beatrice.def I used localcoord = 640,480 and in Custom_Experimental_TRF2_Beatrice_const.cns I used xscale = 1 and yscale = 1 in , for Ryon once told me it is best not to change xscale & yscale values beside 1's. Of course, compared to OMK Beatrice, this TRF2 Beatrice looks smaller :o Well, not so amazing.........just a MUGEN experiment I was trying........my next TRF2 MUGEN experiment will be Greed, the TRF1 boss. If anything amazing, it shall belong to Zzyzzyxx aka Rimu's.
  15. @Ryon: >> Your skills are far above mine. It's not true. Your tree-chopping and super-persistent-homing MUGEN coding is one of the things that I can never be able to make because of my bad maths. If you look closely my MUGEN code, then it is easy to find most effects and mechanisms I make are usually sloppy and "un-clever": i.e. Explod sctrl - MUGEN authors who can do good maths can use only one set for a long and fancy effect, yet in my MUGEN code, I have to use many different sets to get a similar effect. i.e. VelSet sctrl - MUGEN authors who can do good maths can use only one set for a long and bug-less mechanism, yet in my MUGEN code, I have to use many different sets to get a similar and bug-ful mechanism. i.e. use of variables - I know how to use MUGEN variables for simple calculations and referrals only, while you and other better MUGEN authors can use MUGEN variables to get literally anything to work and save time and make things more efficient (i.e. no lag in MUGEN) >> your SF4 characters are on the level of Mugen God. It's not true. I used Orbinaut (now Mr. I?)'s Gouken/Cody as bases. You can only call me a good "MUGEN code copy-&-paste 'er". Perhaps I might also be good at doing repetitive and tedious tasks that not many people have enough patience to work with.......... And one thing, my old maths. tutor once told me that "MUGEN coders are not real computer programmers, or not even coders at all." So, Ryon when your computer science major is done, you can make cool video games (non-MUGEN) with real computer programming. I, and all MFFA'ers, look forward to the new fighting games to be made and released by you!
  16. I feel lucky when playing with your release! Luck in Chinese people's heart is very important! Thank you for your LFII Konata for MUGEN! Methinks shoto moves fit just any kinds of characters Very solid game play as well! And I agree that Zzyzzyxx aka Rimu is very cool.
  17. OOOOOOOOH! I didn't even know of the existence of Street Fighter GoAnimate! Can you do a Blanka please?
  18. I heard that Mewtwo is the strongest Pokemon is it true right? Yeah........A.I.!!!
  19. Wholly Molly! While I was watching your demo video I thought I was watching the cartoon! Your Dot's animations are so fluid! Too bad I am not familiar with Dot Warner so I leave it to the Animaniacs fans who are familiar with her. Good job~!
  20. What an outdoor grill! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=9moGAJkGKeU Street Troller - The Best Of 2013! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=ile2mDiofWw CaramellDansen: The Rumble Fish 2! Mito is so cute~
  21. My fighting game life began with............"Street Fighter II: Champion Edition"!!! Back in those SFII'CE times, I spent endless amount of coins and hours on the SFII'CE machine in the arcade. When I heard of news that the NEC PC-Engine has got a SFII'CE release, I saved up my $$$ within about 1.6 years, just to buy the PCE console and the PCE cartridge: I mained Blanka and Guile and I won quite a few matches against people in the arcade and my friends in my apartment room. Then, in the following order: - Dragon Ball Z Super Butouden 1/2/3 (Super Famicom) - Mortal Kombat I & II (arcade) - Samurai Shodown I & II (arcade) - Street Fighter III (arcade) - Street Fighter IV (PC) That's it for me! I know my list is so short............ All other and newer fighting games, I just tried a few times because either I was not interested in or I did not have much access to them at all (except those PC-emulated ones but I still don't play much just for testing purpose). I don't know but.......those newer popular ones like KOF/MVC/VS/Blazblue/Sengoku Basara-X/Persona 4 Arena/Fist of the North Star/Chaos Code/Guilty Gear/Arcana Heart/Melty Blood......I think some are too hard for me to play (I have no skill for advanced systems than SF series).......and some are too flashy for my poor eyes......except for Ougon Musou Kyoku, surprisingly my hands and eyes could accept OMK...... Then, MUGEN came across in my fighting gaming life! It changed my fighting game life quite a bit! So, MUGEN is my latest fighting game for now.
  22. Happy Birthday Sweet 17!
  23. One cool edit of Jill I must say. Pack of fast-paced actions going on! I like the SFXs and the VFXs you made use of. Good stuff!
