    The Changelog:

    Spoiler

    * Fixed a bug where Vinny's AI would sometimes go into an invalid
    state after throwing an opponent.
    * Run is no longer coded as an attack so opponents will not attempt
    to block if they hold back while Vinny runs.
    * Fixed a typo in movelist.txt showing the incorrect motion for Do the Mario!
    * "See The Strongman?" hit sounds will not be played on block.
    * "SPEEN!" now has a 25% chance to play during "See The Strongman?".

    + The last 2 hits of s.HP have increased range.
    + Vinny moves farther forwards during c.HP. Now a full chain combo string
    should always lead to cr.HP without the move whiffing.
    + In addition, cr.HP launches the opponent higher and forces them to wait longer
    before air recovering out of it.
    + Vinny's super jump after cr.HP goes higher.
    + Vinny can now cancel his cr.HK into cr.HP.
    + j.HP comes out faster.
    + j.MK and j.HK had their hitboxes adjusted to better suit air combos.
    + j.HK was given its momentum back. It sends him up a little bit so he can finish
    his air combos properly.
    + The Big Meat's fire pillar does 30 more damage and launches higher.
    + Vinny can now cancel normals into most of his special moves on block.
    + The tears from Sponge's Sorrowful Soul have increased range and stun for slightly longer.
    + The Strongman has been given a larger hitbox.
    + Supers are now affected less by damage scaling. This is most noticeable with
    Do the Mario!, Scoot the Birbs and Pepperoni Secret.
    + Pepperoni Secret has an extra hitbox placed just in front of Vinny's rear leg.
    This allows the move to hit if Vinny just sweeped a downed opponent.

    - Labor Day Barbeque had its hitbox shortened.

  4. The justice zealot from SNK's Fatal Fury and King of Fighters franchises goes pint-sized!

     

     

    He is the first character that uses a brand-new groove system that will be used for all of my future characters.
    No matter his size, he's ready to teach wrong-doers that the best way is the Korean way!

  5. Funky hotfix incoming:
    (02/13)
    - Metal Blade will now disappear after a set amount of time. This is to prevent near-infinites and total stage control on extremely long stages.

    - Mega Buster is now chargable during normal attacks. This was an intended feature, but one of my triggers accidentally disabled this.

  6. After losing a horrible bet I made with my friends, I gave the MUGEN community a chance to choose what character I would do next.
    Three months later, here we are.
     

     


    I lost a lot of dedication for this character and even considered cancelling him, but a bet's a bet and I don't plan on giving up any time soon.
    I hope you enjoy my first (and last) requested MUGEN character, the self-insert of Oliver as Latias!

    It's been a while, but I'm ready to release one of my most ambitious MUGEN characters to date: myself! I know there will probably be more ambitious things I'll do, but I might as well get the idea out of the way.

  8. In the midst of starting college two weeks ago, I have gotten myself together to finish up and finally release Clairen, the Flame's Salvation from Rivals of Aether!
     

     


    In addition, I have decided to reveal a secret WIP of mine I have codenamed "Obligatory". You may have already guessed it but it's better to verify, right?Anyways, I'm tired and I get my first exam this friday. Wish me luck aaaa

  9. Recently, I noticed how often OHMSBY uses English dubs for his characters instead of Japanese lines. It kinda threw me off when they decided to release Iori and use the JP voice this time instead of using the greatest English voice Iori has ever been given.
     

    To avert this, I have decided to create an English voice pack for him myself.

  10. I unironically enjoy KOF Maximum Impact 2.

    - Most of the new characters added are great and memorable in their own way (i.e. Soiree, Mignon, Fio, Chae Lim, Lilly Kane).
    - Decent-looking stages in 3D (especially on a PS2)
    - Crazy wall-bounces and OTG's everywhere
    - First KOF to have Mr. Karate (and only KOF to have Ryo as Mr. Karate). Scratch that, the GBC version of KOF96 had him first (but it was Takuma, not Ryo).
    - Nicely-designed costumes referencing other franchises and SNK characters.
    - Cheesy story and English voice acting (along with the option to turn on JP voice acting which is more "serious good" than "funny good")

    - and most importantly, all of the characters have a better moveset than what they have in XIV.
    (Kim's pants are also presumably better in MI2 since he has more movement in his idle.)

  11. Bumping because (thanks to Dawn De Era) new changes have been made that I consider big enough to be dubbed Ranno's "Version 1.1".
     

    - Ranno is now better suited for Simul play! He now has two separate stack gauges for each player if he faces against a 2-player team.
     

    - Toxic Trap's detonation has been mapped to the Start button, can be done anywhere and will explode instantly if Ranno is performing a different move when detonating. Detonation also does not put players into a SuperPause.
     

    - In addition, Ranno is now completely invulnerable when moving the Toxic Trap bubble.

     

    (7/05/20) - Ranno now has a damage dampener that affects all of his moves except his Level 3.

     

    (8/05/20) - Fixed a damage dampener error I made where Poison Darts did no damage at all.

     

    (8/07/20) - Fixed a "1-th enemy" debug flood error being caused through Ranno's simul mode checks in triggers.

  12. Forgot to mention. Ranno got some fixes over the past few days.

     

    (6/17/20) - Adjusted Ranno's "Stars of Mutiny" custom port, fixed a debug flood with Toxic Trap's finish and a bug that repeated super finish's background every time a super hit.

    (6/15/20) - How in god's name did I manage to make a typo in WINQUOTES? Fixed.

    (6/03/20) - He's got a new stun animation. Dunno how I overlooked it, but I found it when playing RoA against Dronk lmao

    (5/29/20) - Fixed a bug where the AI attempts to air block when being launched (which isn't a thing) and ends up being teleported to the ground.

    (5/28/20) - Fixed a random typo I made in the .cmd file causing Ranno to cancel JUMPING medium into STANDING heavy. Whoops.

    (5/27/20) - Fixed some AI compatability issues and Toxic Tongue because I did a bad. 😕

     

    The fixed version uses the same link, so no worries.

  13. To celebrate the upcoming release of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2, I decided to port The Hangar from the Gameboy Color version of THPS2!

     

     

    The nostalgia and hype is through the roof for this new remake and I hope Vicarious Visions does the best they can with it. 😄
    (btw I used Venice Beach's music for this instead of the actual Hangar's music because it's a bit too slow paced for my liking.)

    Listen man, feedback is cool and all. I get that. 
    Trust me, I'm no Wlan. I'm willing to take any and all feedback given to me seriously and actually improve upon my works.
    But what I'm not willing to do is take rudeness from said feedback lightly. Spurting out things like "YOU TOOK MY SUPER JUMP CODE" in the most passive-aggressive way possible is not what I take into consideration.

    There's indeed something known as "giving feedback and NOT coming off as overly rude".

    Please practice it more before you derail a release thread like this again, okay?

  15. HE'S FINALLY HERE!!

     


    Ranno, The Poisonous Pacifist from Rivals of Aether has now officially made his way into MUGEN! To be honest, I was kinda expecting people to make the RoA cast sooner thanks to their popular Steam Workshop content, with it being considered as "MUGEN except Smash-style". Nonetheless, I am proud of the work I put into my first stand-alone character and I hope you are too.
