  1. Wonderful! I love when others enjoy this stuff. Please do make a youtube video when you're done. I like to watch this kind of stuff. It really makes it worth all the work and even better when it can be improved on. We're all keeping mugen alive ;)

  5. Great version to! I recommend speeding up the walk forward animation. It doesn't match the walking forward velocity speed. Also you should add a startup fxs on the kameha blast shot, The giant spirit bomb looks nothing like the spirit bomb of the show, you should redo it or use something else. Also your combos are stellar! I also like the resizing to fit the smaller MvC style sprites. This is the only time I like to see the extreme butoden sprites shrunken down like this.

  8. WOW! Seriously some of the best Mugen DBZ I've ever seen! Damn that was spectacular! These sprites are the best hands down and they can be down right outstanding when put to use like this. This was phenomenal! I've not enjoyed a mugen fight like this in a long time. Thank you! +1

  10. I had no idea all that was in kong's stuff and i'm a fan of his. I still like his work though and adding new moves is a plus in my book but anyway thanks for the heads up on the character issues.

  12. Out of curiosity what is wrong with kong's coding? I played his Magneto and it is brutal in A.I. and is full of surprises and all the moves seem to be there. IMO it's a very good character. I thought people just hated Kong's characters because of the IMT template but I had no idea it had coding errors? Please elaborate if you could because I have not noticed anything game breaking or any kind of glitch or bugs in his stuff. Maybe I didn't notice something in there?

    I just wanna add 1 last thing to. I think Chuchoryu got the message, i mean the same people keep telling him in every thread since he started releasing. Whats it been like 2 years now? I think he heard it all ready and I think it's clear that he is still committed to continue doing his work like this regardless of what some say and request. There isn't much else you can do. It doesn't make sense to keep harassing his threads like this. Just give your feedback or opinion but enough with repeating the same complaint. We're all aware of it, everyone. I guess it'll get done when it gets done i guess. That's it.
  14. The venture bros are so classic because of the style and it's a hit tv show animation series. I'd be happy with just H.E.L.P.E.R. Ooh, that's a good one! Yeah the robot should be made for mugen!

I know this is a sprite thread but this stuff needs to be mugend. these characters don't exist in this size and bit resolution size. I especially like and would want Zim or brak's friend, i forget his name.
  16. Hello and welcome! I hope to see more mugen versions of refined full games. Glad to see more people getting into this and doing all the hard work for others to enjoy also in one click. You'll fit in fine and don't feel afraid to join in on anything. The internet will have a lot of ugly moments but there is always some peace and fun throughout the whole ride and who knows, you might become even closer to it all. Enjoy your stay or visits!
  17. His work looks fine to me. Small artistic errors are no big deal really, his characters actually look like the source which is a huge accomplishment over the deviant art mutations that have a proper light source, etc. ....That's NOT SPUNKY!!!!!!!! If he does then that's cool and if he doesn't, that's cool to, whatever, it freakin Rocko from ROCKOS MODERN LIFE!!!!! Besides aren't famous artists always saying some crap about art isn't a form of rules, it's an expression and all that nonsense :P I don't know it's something I hear a lot from hipEs. Whatever... :P
  18. I'm surprised this thread is still going! Though I wanted to comment on what you said there... I don't think it's the most selfish in fact I think it is the most giving. The selfish part is like 1% (the guys on youtube that show and tell only) really, especially now a days. The proof is that we have so many downloads and characters online right now as we type from various sources. If it was truly greedy there would hardly be any by both the fan collectors and creators alike. But yeah i understand that the few that don't share makes it feel like we're losing out a lot on something really cool, which is unfortunate for everyone, including the one who doesn't share their downloads. It's a blow that hurts us all and our ever growing hobby.
  19. His power up move where he has that blue aura going and it fills up the meter. He's charging up his power meter. The one from choujin arcade i think? Oh there are Ex specials? Well then that's fine then as long as his normal specials don't do that.
  20. He needs some work, KFM was able to beat him, i recommend a harder A.I. The FXs are awesome! The specials are ok. His combos are fun and good. I recommend you have his charging move do a little push back, since kfm can just walk through it right now and punch vegeta in the face easily. I don't like how for every special his energy meter runs out and yopu have to charge up every time to just use a special attack. The meter should only be for hypers/super in my opinion. I advise against the dr.doom method. Thank you for the release, these sprites go great with these moves and fxs and gameplay! I hope to see more! This reminds me of Nappa and 18 from TheAnswer.
  21. I always forget that dragon ball was very perverted. You hardly see this in the English version because it's heavily censored. I used to watch it in spanish as a kid and that did things to me...bad things...
  22. This is the first time I've seen dragon Punch being used like this. I like this version a lot because it's different from the usual ones. Though I never liked the move in general. it is a little silly how a dragon would manifest out of a punch. It doesn't ever make sense unless it's coming from his imagination like that punch in dragon ball where he punched a hole through Piccolo. then again the move is just an ordinary hyped up punch so it really is nothing special. It is difficult to come up with a special move list for Goku because there was ever hardly anything to work with in regards to his moveset. In mostly all games Goku just does a Kamehameha wave or a spirit bomb...and that's it. It is even worse since most of his other friends all pretty much do a Kamehameha to, which makes his less special. The final Bout games mostly just had him do a kameha wave and then the other was another kameha wave but a little stronger and flashier. I wish he had just 1-2 more new stuff he could do like Gotenks ring move and all that kind of stuff. I'm hoping at least dragon ball Super will introduce something unique rather than that new kaiokan blue :p

  24. Nice. it looks good so far. I would recommend you try frankenspriting, look up the term on youtube to see how it's done. This will allow you to extend the sprite a little more with a few more moves. Look for the Ironman one. Other than that the sprite rips are enough though.
  25. Mugen has been around for a long time now. In fact, Elecbyte came back and updated their engine and released it numerous times with updates because of the fan following that never died. However, a lot of the oldest mugen sites and forums and even downloads are offline. Like any website or forum the funding support does run out or it gets shut down for numerous reasons. Still though that doesn't mean mugen has died. Most of these groups migrated to other mugen places and a very small percentage of these guys actually retired. Some are still around though and have made come backs for a while. Another thing to keep in mind is that even though some places die out, there are new places that start up. Some of these places are very big now or were depending on their activity as of late. Some examples that I'm very familiar are CVG United a.k.a. Crusader Cast. A place that originally was SonicX mugen forums, which died out but was replaced by this far superior forum/mugen webpage. It's very popular and has had a ton of new content and is still in the game making business with some new stuff right now. Then that place split off into another forum called Mugen Multiverse, same deal pretty much but just newer and has a healthy flow of activity still. Then after that more members from crusadercast created another place pretty decent for mugen called Mugen the Atlas; a multiplex of gaming engines, including mugen! Then of course there are the old titans that are still around and still kicking and still contributing. Mugen Fighters Guild is the most well known and the strongest out of all forums and known for it's fantastic database and has a lot of nice projects in progress. Then Infinity Mugen Team which has successfully done several full game releases and a great set of character collections created for the website and forum. There is also a thread in this forum about currently active mugen communities just to prove that it isn't going anywhere and that it's still around. Also keep this in mind, even if something should happen to the hobby in general where everything goes off line; it still wouldn't even be the end because millions of fans have an unhealthy collection of 300+ characters and stages all around the world which they will upload and share again. We'll get mugen from Antarctica if we have to LOL RPG maker has been around longer than we have and it's still around and it isn't that different either. Also there are still people right now making mugen clones. There was one a few years ago that came with a creator program! Also Elecbyte came back after like 10 years or something which is insane and unlikely. So they may do that again and release another update for mugen in the distant future. Not that we aren't good right now with the current mugen updates which are enough for all of us. Mugen 1.0 is stable and fixes the problems of winmugen. Mugen 1.1 Beta is the latest version which includes a lot of new extra stuff to work with. How can anyone be unsatisfied right now or yearn for more when we are at the peak of this engine's progress and history as a whole! Frankly @Redrandomgamer, mugen is complete and stable as far as I'm concerned and can survive on its own now. If anything I'd like the developers to go back and bring us their original plan on making a first person shooter engine. I'd be interested in a 3D fighter engine and maker to! Heck, a 3D RPG engine similar to Skyrim would be cool to!
