Hello everyone,
I'd like to introduce to you all my idea for a screenpack. I got bored at work the other day and came up with this. Normally, I scrap ideas as soon as they come to fruition because they're just not good enough, but this one I really wanted to stick with after comping up a prototype in PS. Without further ado, I give you the workings of Pixel Fighter:

Features and plans:
- Cycling background colors
- New-age pixel style with modern color scheme
- Animated transitions
- Background and foreground element animations
- Mugen 1.1 32-bit source graphics, meaning no color loss
- HD 1280x720
- Matching lifebars with possible custom fightfx effects to match the style
- 800+ character slot variant
- Chiptune-like/synthesized music and UI sfx

That's it for now, but I plan to keep this thread update. Let me know what you think. I really like the idea and hope to let this see the light of day.

NOTE: This isnt a Mugen 1.1 stage however recomend using OpenGL Mode at Mugen 1.1 so the stage display correctly since looks really bad at 1.0 or system mode due massive colorloss honestly (did what i could to fix it sorry)

Quicky for a stage BG character (yes same OC again <3) ima edit more the outfit i guess but for now i just recolor and add more colors (has 4 tones per color now and some shading fix)

for the most part I believe almost ALL graphics card in the past 15 years (from 2000 onward) have OpenGL in it in some form or way.
 
since they issue is code related, I'll just throw this in.
 
If opengl doesnt work for you try putting mugen into safemode.

Stage made for Mugen 1.0 at 1280x720 only HOWEVER i made some small tweaks and fixes to the DEF and made a secondary DEF for 640x480 so if you want the stage for HD and also  640x480 just download it from here instead: Sendspace.com

Looks very nice regardless of the resolution used due the deltas and parallax imo

I wonder what exactly have "O" planed for him.
Anyway looks nice tho the gif is a bit missaligned isnt? coz looks too jumpy when switch to attack frame.
