Let me make a comparission, it is like you're used to Street Fighter 4, then you decided to play the very first one and see the lack of features that the modern game have. And in my case, i played the Melty Blood Act Cadenza version (And by Extension Actress Again in Mugen) and have to use the sistem of the first game. Did i make sense?
