[Gen6][3DS] Pokemon X & Y

The reason why I want a 6 IV Ditto is because I haven't got any luck breeding with the 2 IV and 4 IV Dittos I have. I keep wounding up with mostly 2-3 IV Pokemon and sometimes 1 IV or Pokemon with IVs less than 31. The only luck is if I get a 4 IV Pokemon... I haven't been able to obtain anymore 5 IV Pokemon since hatching a Pancham with 31/31/31/0/31/31.

Is it even possible to get a 6 IV Ditto breeding/ wild catch at all? Or to make it hard try catching a Shiny one if your lucky. =P

As I already said, Gen 4/5 RNG manipulation, but that requires Pokebank. Only way to do it within Gen 6 is to get lucky. That or GTS/Pokecheck.

Yeah if Nintendo/Gamefreak will ever release PokeBank in the US/EU regions.  >=(

but I guess we won't expect that tell next month. =P

Was having a little discussion with Noob in the chat about the merits of using Choice Specs on his Glaceon and/or Jolteon, and since I promised him some calcs against common defensive Pokemon:

Hmm.Thanks for the odds calculations Rice though I might just give Glaceon Choice Scarf since it has low-mid average speed as we discussed. That last Battle we had was pretty cool at least it went down to the wire between our last surviving pokemon. :goodmood:

Ah, right, completely forgot about Choice Scarf calcs.

With Choice Scarf, Timid, and max Speed investment, your speed hits 376 at lv 100 (128 at lv 50), which basically lets you outspeed everything except the following:

Note: Common Choice Scarfed Pokemon in red, minimum EVs required to outspeed Scarf Timid Glaceon in parenthesis. Pokemon that require a positive speed nature will be in bold. Numbers on the left assume maximum speed EV investment. Pokemon requiring a stat boost move will be in blue.

472: Terrakion (0 speed)

459: Deoxys-Speed (0 speed)

454: Garchomp (48 speed)

448: Salamence (64 speed)

445: Genesect (72 speed)

442: Hydreigon (80 speed)

419: Ninjask (84 speed)

406: Rotom-Wash, Rotom-Heat (176 speed)

405: Mega Manectric (148 speed)

399: Mega Alakazam, Mega Aerodactyl, Deoxys-Attack, Deoxys-Normal (164 speed)

397: Mega Tyranitar (+1 Dragon Dance, 208 speed)

394: Jolteon, Aerodactyl, Mewtwo, Mega Mewtwo X, Crobat (188 speed)

390: Meloetta-Pirouette (204 speed)

389: Accelgor (204 speed)

388: Shaymin-Sky (212 speed), Chandelure (224 speed), Dragonite (+1 Dragon Dance, 224 speed)

386: Talonflame (220 speed) (nobody runs speed natures on Talonflame, so you dont have to worry about this)

383: Weavile, Darkrai, Swellow (228 speed)

379: Electrode, Mega Mewtwo Y, Noivern (244 speed)

377: Greninja (252 speed)

Swords Dance set with Close Combat, physical priority move, and a coverage move, or Nasty Plot set with Vacuum Wave + 2 Attacks.

Both are ridiculously overpowered, no Pokemon can counter both sets besides Zapdos, Moltres, and bulky Gyarados, where the former requires PokeBank in order to OHKO M.Lucario back, and all three are weak to Stealth Rock, which increases the chance of an OHKO on M.Lucario's side.
