Welcome to MFFA! Introduce yourself here!
Werewood replied to PlasmoidThunder's topic in [ INTRODUCTIONS ]
I came across with MFFA some years ago too, yet did not register until April 2013. I would like to share some of my old findings but I deleted all of them when I quit MUGEN in 2011. And, yes, MFFA is a great MUGEN place! -

Finished playing with your Demitri (July 11th 2013 version)! One word: SOLID! You paid so much attention to details like the Chaos Flare2 bat and throws states and such. Those uses of many Helper and TargetBind........I understand how much effort it takes to tweak for harmonies. And, your use of RemapPal in statedef -2 is something new to me! Now I learn how to use RemapPal from your cool Demitri. Just can't wait for you to complete the missing parts! Keep us updated! I haven't played Capcom Fighting Evolution so I am not sure whether there should be a "missed throws" sound/voice. A typo in your readme: [special] Chaos Flare - Down, Forward, Punch* Chaos Flare2 - Down, Back, Punch* Demon Cradle - Forward, Down, Forward, Kick Diagonal Demon Cradle - (Dash) -> Forward, Down, Forward, Kick Bat Spin - Down, Back, Kick* Both Demon Cradles should use punches.......

Thank you it is the best SFA3/SFZ3 Vega/Balog MUGEN stage! I will listen to "Spanish Eyes" when enjoying this MUGEN stage! P.S. In my MUGEN game I usually use other BGMs/songs instead of the source game ones

New MUGEN character type! How cool! I always wonder how the Japanese MUGEN authors manage to rip so many hard-to-impossible-to-rip game sprites and sounds. All I can do is to take game screen shots and clean by hand (not so clean oh well)...........perhaps next time we will see cleaner ones by Suigin and/or other Japanese MUGEN authors. Off-topic: I just can't resist to post Suigin's blog avatar because it is just too cute: "Hi I am Suigin. Enjoy your stay~"

Welcome to MFFA! Introduce yourself here!
Werewood replied to PlasmoidThunder's topic in [ INTRODUCTIONS ]
MFFA has many cool stuff that other MUGEN forums don't have. Enjoy your MFFA exploration! -
No please don't say that. Your MUGEN stuff has had long been inspiring since I was in MI/MFG (and even more now I became a MFFA member)! Your unique style and skill and ideas are the MUGEN things that I admire very much and that I use as good reference for learning. And, I already mentioned in the beginning, that I am going to use Orbinaut (now Mr. I?)'s Gouken and Cody as base, so most credit shall belong to him, not me. I use localcoord = 320,240 in all my MUGEN characters' DEF files and I use GameWidth = 640 and GameHeight = 480 in mugen.cfg all the way all along. I never try other localcoord and GameWidth/GameHeight. So, what are your localcoord and GameWidth/GameHeight when you were testing SSFIV Oni WIP please? About MUGEN CNS scaling, because the "sprites" I ripped are too big so I have to use MUGEN CNS scaling.......actually the image dimensions this time already smaller than my old Juri Han and Omni.
-
Thank you for your interest in my SSFIV Oni WIP! You know I am not good at source game accuracy MUGEN conversion, but I still want to make my SSFIV Oni play a little bit like the source game. At least to give the players a small SSFIV Oni MUGEN experience. So, before I move on to his special moves, do you think his current normals, focus attacks, custom states, taunts, wins, loses,....etc. are feeling right please? If so then I move on......if not then please point out as many issues as possible so that I can fix before moving on. Thank you again!

O Ilusionista you are so awesome that when you hear your fans' request you are able to fulfill their request under such kind consideration! Of course, BMT staffs are cool ones like you, as always! It is good to see Ethan Lives gives about the same amount of MUGEN love to Heavy Strike like his 2011 G Project. Nice splendid edit! It has so many different features that fit each other! [EDIT]: O Ilusionista, I would like to ask you for the permission of your "Mindless One" MUGEN character. Please reply to me if you approve me thank you very much in advance!

AnimeFreak you surely freaking love anime very much! I can see it by looking at your signature banner Welcome to MFFA! -
Well, I think something like my case -- whenever my name (old MUGEN handle) appears in MFG/MI, there is some stir-up result.
-
Wow! I never knew about MFFA detailed history until now! Being a Founder is not an easy job! My MUGEN life started in 2004 and I think I came across with your old Rare Mugen web site, well, at least the name of the web site sounds a bit familiar to me. And, yes, in those times the MUGEN permission/credit thing was quite a big long topic/argument matter. May MFFA grow and sustain forever!
