Seraph: It's nothing urgent or serious, it's two things only. First of all, here.

 

Seraph got a medium-sized pouch out of his pocket and gave it to Darkflare.

 

Seraph: There's 300 Pompadillions from an external bounty I got. I'm giving it to you so it can help with the maintenance of this place. Also, it's a more formal way of helping you, other than just investigating rumor.

Seraph: As for the second thing... Agni, Magnum. Come here.

 

Hearing the call, they left the clerk for a while and went where Seraph and Darkflare were.

 

Agni: You called, big brother?

Seraph: Resuming what I was talking. Darkflare...

 

BGM: Electronica in the Velvet Room (Persona 4)

 

Seraph: I want to use an arena to put these two in a duel.

 

That came as a surprise to both. Why they were going to fight each other right now? What was the reason for it.

 

Agni: Us? Are we being put against each other?!

Magnum: Why?

Seraph: You two have an excellent synergy working together, but it's time to see how you fare against each other for once. I, for one, am interested to know the results of this.

Agni: Brother, is this really necessary? I mean, we can train in another hour.

Magnum: I wanted another opponent actually.

 

That certain comment called Agni's attention. He turned to Magnum and questioned him.

 

Agni: Excuse me?! Are you subconsciously calling me weak?!

Magnum: No, but I wanted someone else. I know how you fight and you know how I fight.

Agni: I'm almost positive you're mocking me. Why's that? Just because I use a gun? Or is it because I'm smarter than you when it comes to a fight?

Magnum: Wait, now you're calling me dumb! I'm not dumb!

Agni: Yes, you are! You always rush into a fist fight without considering the enemy first. I have to save your butt many times because of this!

Magnum: And what about the times that I had to leave my fight to help you because you never managed to reload yet?! You're always on the back while I have to hold the front lines alone!

 

Magnum and Agni looked at each other once again. Instead of being angry at each other, they let out smiles.

 

Seraph: I suppose you have decided, then.

Agni: .... *points one gun at him* We'll fight, Magnum. You against me, no holds barred!

Magnum: *prepares gauntlets* Consider your challenge accepted then. Be prepared, I'll drive you to the ground!

Agni: We'll see about that real soon. We might be best friends, but we still have a rivalry to settle!

 

Seraph laughed quietly at the scene and returned to look at Darkflare.

 

Seraph: I suppose all the lobby arenas are currently full. This means we need to go to the underground ones, right?

 

Elizabeth and Mirfah saw how Agni and Magnum were excited about their fight and got impuslve on fighting too. They directly went to another Mech-Hisui to ask about an avaible arena.

 

Lize: Excuse us, but we'd like to use one of the arenas. We wish to settle our fight right now.

Mirfah: If we're doing a reservation, we want it like them. For today.

Location: Aromatic Corner Café

 

BGM: Elegant Summer still playing

 

This was going to be a problem. Melina couldn't reveal too much about herself or it would be a real issue for her. However, instead of playing the innocent girl, she decided to be more direct, with a different tone of voice.

 

Melina: ... Kimimuri, what do you exactly wish to know about me? I cannot reveal too much details, you know.

Melina: As a fellow assassin, you do not wish to have your weakness exposed... would you?

Frank continued on with his assignment, taking pictures of the objects he considered most important, labeling reasons why they were with a sharpie on the back of them.

 

I think I might almost be done with my this part... just need a few more pictures and I'll be going to the upstairs section...

LightFlare's overhead is collides with her uppercut and he is pushed back from the recoil. He receives damage but is not lifted into the air.

Edward finished the photos on the main floor, then went to the upstairs section, taking photos of everything he considered important in that section.

 

I'm almost done... just need to do the bottom section and everything will be set in order...

Frank finally went down to the bottom section of the place, yet again taking pictures of everything he considered important.

 

And I'm all done... time to go send these over to Darkflare and I'll be all done...

 

Frank went back to the middle (main) segment of the place and walked over to Darkflare, handing him the pictures he had taken.

   As they entered the arena, Jude suggested they do a warming up first.

 



Ryuko: Roger that Doc!



Jude: Good.



Ryuko: Anyway...Can you tell me why did you actually accept the challenge?



Jude: Heh, you're really are suspicious of me.



Ryuko: Because I can't trust certain men...



Jude: Well, I wanted to see how teaching someone how to fight felt like. At first, I never thought I would use my self-defense martial art in a fight against The Great Spirit Maxwell.



Jude: But now, I'm pretty much throwing myself into problems instead of focusing solely on spyrite technology. I'm just that kind of guy.



Ryuko: Such a do-gooder.



Jude: Then, let me keep doing good and help you with your discipline problem.



Jude: A certain man once said: Power exists not to defeat one's foes, but to control yourself.  If you're too overcondient, things will start falling apart. That's the lesson for today.

    Jude was the first to charge foward. He closed in on her with an impressive sprinting speed.

 



Jude: Reaper's Toll!



Ryuko: Dragon Knuckle!

 

    They both collided fists. Despite wearing Jude gauntles, Ryuko's fists didn't seem damaged when she punched them.

 



Ryuko: Well now...Little Doc really has actual strenght behind his fists.



Jude: The battle is just starting. It's too early for flattery!



Ryuko: Damn! Straight!

 

     Ryuko started a string of attacks, which Jude proceeded to block. He calmly analyzed her attack patterns until he noticed an opening.

 



Jude: Soaring Vortex!



Ryuko: Argh!

 

       Using a Wind Spirit Arte, Jude launched Ryuko to the air, making her vunerable to following attacks, which Jude wasted no time in doing so.

 



Ryuko: Tch...I'm not done yet!



Jude: Wah...

 

     She recovered her balance, then did a doward punch, sending her to the ground near Jude and landing a hit with the ensuing shockwave.

 



Ryuko: EX-DRAGON PUNCH!!!

 

    Ryuko lunged foward with her fist, but Jude blocked it at the last second.

 



Jude: Urgh.



Ryuko: I might have a discipline problem sure...But I always took fighting serious. If you think you can teach me something, then you're being really arrogant Doctor.



Jude: That won't stop me from trying.

 

    They both repelled each other and took their fighting stances, thinking on the next course of action.

With Ren of balance from the Shock Burst, LightFlare fires a Light Burst directly at Ren...

Thinking quickly, Ren allowed herself to fall on her back to avoid the attack before flipping herself back up going for a strike toward Light strong enough to send him back.
