  1. Number of candidates is lacking. I'll leave it open for a few more days or until we get at least one more.
  2. Did some quick testing the other night and so far I've found the following; Alot of his CLSN boxes feel inconsistent. His walking and idle hitboxes, for instance. Crouch doesn't feel like a crouch at all. In fact, one of his crouching normals whiffs entirely against crouching opponents. Standing HP is ridiculously unsafe at -27 on hit/block, and this is with long startup time as well. Alot of his normals lack range. While the dance (D+MP, D+MP, etc) doesn't do any damage, it has 0 frame startup and is completely invincible during recovery, so you can pretty much use it to stunlock a cornered opponent until time over. His specials don't feel like there's any kind of variation whatsoever. Supers are... next to useless for the most part. For example, I get the joke with the Blue Attack, but why would I ever use it in a practical match, especially when it costs meter? SND file's large filesize can be slimmed down by converting all the sound clips to mono. I'm confident that the issues can be worked out and Papyrus can be made into a solid character, but as he stands right now he still needs some work. The author should try focusing on making a solid fighter first and then focus on the Undertale memes once he has that done.
  3. Komachi & Utsuho updated Komachi changelog:
  4. Koishi updated. Fixed several bugs that went unnoticed on release,

What makes this scenario even more puzzling is that he was a relatively normal poster before he decided to snap for whatever reason.
  6. Since you love your waifu so much, I'll give you one week to spend time with her. How does that sound?
  7. Stealth update. Redownload and both issues should be fixed.
  8. Sakuya updated again. Fixes some graphical glitches and balance issues with Jill the Ripper
  9. This, along with Jill the Ripper lacking certain effects and being capable of dealing over 900 damage if set up properly, was the result of me forgetting to save changes before releasing the update. Expect a fix later today.
  10. Tiebreaker vote period is over. Patoelietoe wins Silver by 8 votes. Thanks to all who voted.
  11. Votes are in, Patoelietoe wins Silver by 8 votes. Thanks to all who voted.
  12. New month and time for a full tier shift update: Singles: Doubles: The following Pokemon are now banned from Singles UnderUbers: The following Pokemon are no longer banned from Singles UnderUbers: The following Pokemon are now banned from Doubles UnderUbers: The following Pokemon are no longer banned from Doubles UnderUbers: Thoughts: By a 0.09% margin the Singles UnderUbers tier lost a powerful Sweeper/Cleaner/Wallbreaker in Blaziken but in exchange gained Skarmory as a great defensive utility Pokemon, providing defensively inclined teams with a great Spikes user that can stomach a hit from Mega Mawile providing that it doesnt run Swords Dance + Fire Punch. Not sure how to feel about this tradeoff.

  14. copypasta from MFG; All normals are safer on block than on hit Most of the normals have little to no priority, including the jabs j.X -> j.C is a corner infinite Forward dash -> j.Z is another infinite Additionally, i feel that Counter could use a slight tweak. While I like that you made it based on hitbox positioning like Gouken's counter in SF4 did, the idea that it still only counters attacks based on their hitdef properties still irks me. For instance, low hitting standing attacks do exist (certain LKs, for example), which the low counter will fail to detect due to it not being defined as crouching. I would set it up to be based on hitbox positioning alone, independent of hitdef properties aside the obvious Attack/Projectile/Throw differences. Also the 10 frame startup on the jab someone else pointed out. Even for slow moving grappler types this is still pretty slow for a jab.
  15. Now now, calm down now. The character's not even released yet.
  16. Its time for another CotM. No new changes to make note of this time around. Nominations & Voting Rules You may nominate up to 4 characters per month. You may only nominate a character that was released and/or updated during the given month. You cannot nominate characters that have previously won Gold or Silver in any previous Character of the Month. Be specific as to which character you are nominating; include both the name and the author name and, if applicable, the release thread of the character. To make things easier, we suggest that you append the number of nominations that the character has, including your own, when you make your nominations. Characters that have been nominated by at least 3 different people will become candidates for voting. Candidates for voting cannot be nominated any more (as there is no real purpose to this) Voting begins 15 days after the nomination period began, or once 20 characters have been nominated as candidates. The Nomination period will end on the 16th of every month, while the Voting period will end on the 1st of the following month, with a 1 week extension given in the event of a tie. The winner will be announced at the end of this period. At the end of each month, the top 2 voted characters will be declared the Gold and Silver winners, respectively. In the event of a tie, voting will be extended by 1 week. If the tie is not broken by then, there will be no Silver winners for that month. During this time, you will be permitted to vote for one character for CotM. So please choose wisely You may choose to do a Counter-Nomination. Counter-Nominations can only be done on characters that have obtained at least 3 nominations for CotM. When doing a Counter-Nomination, you MUST list the reason(s) why you believe that the character should not be in the list of candidates. Note that if we, the staff of MFFA, feel that your reason for candidacy rejection is not adequate enough, we have the right to reject your Counter-Nomination. At least three (3) valid Counter-Nominations are required for a character to be removed from the list of candidates. You can only make one Counter-Nomination per month, which does not count towards your 4 nomination limit. No collusion of any kind. If we find out that anyone has conspired with other users to nominate characters for the sole purpose of preventing another character from being nominated as a candidate by flooding the list of candidates until it reaches maximum capacity, those nominations will be null and void and all parties involved will be banned from participating in future CotM. That being said, April 2016 Nominations will end on May 15th, 2016. Blacklisted characters: Any character that has already won CotM, a complete list of which can be found here Candidates Akuma by DivineWolf Clippy by The_None Eirin Yagokoro by RicePigeon God-O-Mite by The Magic Toaster Tiny B0rf (Pocket Morrigan) by Daniel9999999 Nominations Alice Margatroid by RicePigeon - 2 Guile by Exclamation_Question - 2 Boomy the Cat by MelvanaInChains - 1 Gradriel by Okan - 1 Kamehameha by Hozumi Miyabi -1 Nico TV by Yagyou Yamada -1 Samurai by Taichi_Tanukida - 1 Utsuho Reiuji by Ricepigeon - 1
