  1. I've updated this character! Get it here: https://mega.nz/#!lcQnWIBa!5VwUs1jkE1Qg-G-VCksjkxJzwuuHwfRyKgppYZYCF70

    Changelog:

    - Oil Panic has been added!
    - Added new Hyper, "Down for the Count".
    - Added new intro.
    - More ending lag for strong version of Chef.
    - More ending lag for strong version of Helmet.
    - Corrected attributes of some moves.
    - Changed the throw variable from var(0).
    - Increased Judge 8's damage.
    - Slightly lowered the Attack stat.
    - Changed jump landing sound.
    - Added dust to Helmet.
    - Adjusted Mr. Game & Watch Stampede some more.
    - Added a CLSN1 to Anim 2626 so that the HitDef for it would work.
    - Added sound and EnvShake to crouching hard punch.
    - Added sound and explod to Hyper Key.

  2. This is the only method I know...:

    1. Create a password-protected .zip with the characters you want as "unlockables" and a copy of your regular select.def file that contains the "unlockables".

    2. Open up system.def in the word editor of your choice and go down to where it says [Win Screen]. Make sure "enabled" is set to "1".

    3. There should be a line that says "wintext.text = *insert text here*". Edit the text after the = symbol to something like the password for the .zip. Save the file.

After you've done that, completing Arcade Mode with any character should give you the password to the .zip so you can extract the files to where you normally would. A bit tedious, but I'm pretty sure it works.

    2) Those sprites actually come from Fairly OddParents video games. The reason I used those is because I'm not a great spriter so it would be easier to use those instead of making bad sprites for them.

(Comments: You can always request the original spriter to create those, that is, if he can.)

    3) Again, I'm not a great spriter but I'll try to improve the animations in the next update.

(Comments: A lot of the choppiness doesn't come from the sprites. It's more that they come from bad timing of ticks in the animation frames.)

    6) I tried my best to balance them, for example Fairy Blaster Weak has low range but can chain up to 4 hits, Fairy Blaster Medium has long range but can only do one shot, Strong version is low range but high damage. Do u have a specific example of bad balancing in a special.

(Comments: An example of a bad balanced special would be the Fairy Beam. There is no change in the startup or ending lag on the different variants.)

    7)  I did that because it's meant to be chained from Cleft Glove. After Cleft Glove comes in contact you can cancel into Big Wish.

(Comments: No matter what, hypers shouldn't miss at point blank.)

    8) It's supposed to be that way, you just choose a different version depending on how far the opponent is, they all have the same amount of damage.

    (Comments: See above.)

Commented on some of your responses. Another thing that I forgot to mention is that you only need about 1 red CLSN box for moves. Having about 5 for one move is a bit unnecessary.

Anyways, can't wait to see the updates.

  4. Feedback:

    - The default KFM sounds don't really fit this character. I suggest you change them.

    - Wanda, Cosmo, and Jorgen's sprites clash with the rest of the sprites.

    - Try improving the animation on some of the moves, such as the strong punches. Right now, it looks rather choppy.

    - Throw looks kind of weird.

    - Timmy suddenly changes a lot when the Fairy Blaster specials are used.

    - Balance out your specials so the weak and medium versions aren't just filler.

    - "Big Wish" doesn't do any damage if you do it up close.

     - Likewise, Wish 2 and Wish 3 don't do any damage if you do them up close as well.

    - Timmy gains back a bit of power from all of his hypers.

    - You should make more versions of the Cleft Glove special. There's only 1 version currently.

    - Cosmo & Wanda Beam does a lot of damage for a non-EX special.

    - Debug error when using Fairy Blaster 1.

    - Instead of the specials and hypers using "trigger1 = statetype = S", make them use "trigger1 = statetype != A". This makes them easier to perform.

     - Also,  you can perform the Fairy Blaster specials while in air and on the ground...but you can't perform them while crouching?

    - Rather minor, but no taunt. It also gives me a debug error when I attempt to taunt.

  5. NOTE: This collection does not contain characters by Most_Mysterious's newer alias The_None, as all of the characters under that alias can easily be found here.

This collection also does not include the 2017 updates, as they can all be found on the same site.

  6. I apologize for the necrobump, but can somebody please reupload this (preferably in parts) to zippyshare or something? Mega now has stupid bandwidth limits.

EDIT: Well, the file eventually downloaded thanks to the help of external software. Thanks for the big dump of characters! I like how there are lots of storyboards, soundpacks, etc. and older versions too.

  7. I know most of these are considered silly requests by some but here goes anyways:

    * A good Strong Bad

    * More good comic characters (preferably MvC styled)

    * A good Pyron (the ones out there are kinda...eh)

    * A Luigi that's sprited in the style of ShinRyoga, but looks and plays rather differently from Mario. Something like SM853's Luigi with different sprites, I guess.

    * More decent Clay Fighter characters

    * A Colonel Sanders like Sennou-Room's Donald

    * A good Kirby (again, the ones out there are kinda eh)

    * More Newgrounds characters (Hank J. Wimbleton and Pico being most wanted from me)

    * A good King Dedede (I was going to work on a 3D version, but other things (mainly personal) distracted me from doing it)

    * A decent version of Parappa the Rapper (my friend was working on one, but later lost interest, and the work files are now gone)

  8. So I downloaded this character, and boy was I in for an adventure. Here's what I found for now:

    Spoiler

    ;GENERAL
    - These sprites (minus the weird edits) were made by someone else. You should probably credit him (if you didn't already).
    - Crouching sprites are very awkward. If you're going to flatten your character while he crouches, use Angle state controllers.
    - Some other sprites also look awkward.
    - He has a lot of Nostalgic Critic sounds for whatever reason.
    - The hitboxes are very bad, and look like they were made with AutoCLSN, with many missing hitboxes, too many hitboxes for a single animation, etc.
    - Most of his palettes are very unpleasant on the eye.
    - Super portrait is badly made.
    - A lot of moves and animations don't fit the character.
    - Tons of his normal attacks have unbalanced damage.
    - Some supers are hard to pull off for some reason.
    - Missing required sprites.
    - Has Megaman effects when KOed for some reason.
    - If the standing hard punch misses, there is a lot of end lag.

    ;SPECIALS
    - The single Hadouken special does a bit too little damage. You can perform this move with Light Punch and Hard Punch, but strangely not Medium Punch. He can also spam it.
    - The multiple Hadouken special does damage comparable to a level 1 super. He also gains power back from them.
    - The ice beam special can't be performed with the Light Kick or Hard Kick buttons. Since it does 100 damage, requires no power, and freezes the opponent, you can do an infinite. The opponent's power also gets drained a bit for whatever reason.
    - The "Shut Up" special is a fullscreen attack that requires no power which does 120 damage if all hits connect. It's OP, if you couldn't tell.
    - The teleportation special doesn't have any variants for some reason.
    - If a hit connects in the vomiting special, the vomit goes behind his mouth. You also can't be hit during the startup.
    - The "Not Funny" special drains half an average character's lifebar if all hits connect! He also gains power back.
    - The Ice Punch special is an infinite and also drains the opponent's power like the Ice Beam for some reason.
    - "Remolino WooHoo" is an infinite, although the infinite's hard to pull off.

    ;SUPERS
    - "Crazy Banana" does way too much damage for a level 1 super. It also gives back his power, and uses annoying hitsounds.
    - Meanwhile, "Giant Bomb" does too little damage for a level 2 super.
    - For "Triple Bomb", a level 3 super, the bombs do too much damage and leave the opponent with 100 HP if all 3 connect.
    - "Thunder Punch" does too much damage for a level 2 super.
    - "Dizzy Punch", a level 1 super, shouldn't do that much damage. Also, the hitsounds are annoying.
    - "Tornado" is a level 1 super, yet leaves the opponent with 40 HP if all hits connect. Again, the hitsounds are annoying. He also gains power from it.
    - "super remolino woohoo" does too much damage for a level 1 super, and he gains power from it.
    - "Master Spark", only being a level 1 super, is screen-wide and almost completely drains an average character's lifebar, and he gains back power.
    - "Laser Beam" is a level 3 super, and also is a screen-wide attack that also completely drains an average character's lifebar and gives back power. You also can't be hit during the startup.
    - The vomiting super is a level 1 super that completely drains an average character's lifebar if some hits connect and gives back power. If a hit connects, the vomit moves a different layer from his mouth.
    - I have no words for that finisher with the Touhou images. None.

    ;OTHER THINGS
    - His crouching light punch sends him across the stage really fast for some reason.
    - The "flying away" winpose uses the same Touhou pictures used in the finisher.
    - While going through his .air file, I found very weird comments (in Spanish).

Let's just say that the statement of "Dave Is Good Character" isn't exactly true.
