  1. We do have other trainer sprites, they're just not updated to the current style yet.
  2. I've been playing it a bit more, and Sandslash seems pretty overpowered as well. Honestly between him and Skarmory, I don't know who's worse. Sandslash seems to be the only one I can EASILY beat Skarmory with (Ironic given his typing). Blastoise, Quiliva and Scyther can beat Skarmory and Sandslash, but not easily. Electrode... seriously needs to be buffed. Also, Mewtwo is not that unbeatable. He doesn't have the best counter/evasion moves, and his main source of power is Psychic. Playing as Sandslash, I had very little problem out-countering him.
  3. No, I mean unless you use Fake-Out on your first turn, you cannot use it at all. Would it be possible to have his other attacks trigger a variable that makes sure that Fake-Out can only be used on the first turn? (Okay, I'm kind of trying to be accurate to the games, cause in the game Fake-Out can only be used on a creature's first turn.)
  4. But I also want the use of other moves first thing to cancel the ability to use Fake-Out.
  5. I kind of want to make Meowth for the game. I got my ideas planned out. Fake Out: A move that works almost instantly and can reduce the opponents power to zero. HOWEVER it can only be used on the first turn. Faint Attack: A teleporting move where Meowth jumps up, vanishes, comes down on the opponent, then goes back. It's weak but difficult to counter if the user has good timing. Pay Day: Meowth's only projectile attack. Meowth throws three coins out at the opponent. A good source of damage, but not terribly high in priorities. Night Slash: Meowth slides back then charges forward with his claws. His strongest attack, but also his easiest to counter. Basically what I have in mind is a character who uses speed over power. But Fake Out kind of has me wondering. How do I set counters so I can ONLY use Fake Out on the first turn?
  6. That was feedback. So... I need to download FF3 in order to make characters?
  7. Alright, let's see. -Electrode seems really underpowered. It doesn't seem to have anything that can potentially beat the other monsters. Blastoise has power and Protect, Sandslash has some strong attacks and Dig, Quiliva has quick attacks that can cancel out other attacks, but aren't that strong themself, Scyther has some fast attacks and ways to make itself even faster, and... -Skarmory (The ugly overrated metal bird) seems really OVERpowered, as it can just spam Fly over and over. Yeah, there's always a way to counter it like Quick Attack or Protect, but little ways of attacking a Fly-spamming Skarmory. To make matters worse, Skarmory's defense is ridiculously high, and Air Slash can often remove power points. Skarmory is almost impossible to kill, and seriously needs to be nerfed. -I also notice Blastoise' Hydro Pump can sometimes freeze an opponent, keeping them from doing anything. I've only seen this once though. -The continue screens have purple in them. Aren't alligned properly or the screens aren't big enough. Still, pretty fun game. But... I'd like some more help with making characters. Where do the sprites come from, cause I looked in their defs and their sprite-files are empty.
  8. Most people usually add crappy characters for collection purposes.
  9. Guess I gotta nab it while it's still within my bandwidth budget. I might try to code some characters. My coding experience isn't high, but I could still try to help. (Don't be surprised if I end up trying to add Bidoof.)
  10. Looks like we already won.
  11. ...Please don't make the game any bigger by the time I get around to it. Can you add new characters as separate downloads?
  12. Ooh, very interesting. I might be able to contribute, but before I download I should wait for my bandwidth to get to a suitable level.
  13. Out of all three Sonics (MUGEN Hunter's/Seanalty's/Claymizer's), no offense but I like MUGEN Hunter's the best. Although his Sonic could be a bit faster, it feels more natural and fun to play as for me than Seanalty and Claymizer's versions. ...Then again, what about Veanko's version? That's gotta be like MUGEN Hunter's Sonic Plus with really cheap AI.
  14. And as usual, generic chibi anime girls dash my expectancies once again. Also, what's up with Kaori's jeans? Is she trying to make a fashion statement? XD
  15. I was kind of making fun of the fact it's been brought up so much.
  16. Hey JDM, could you upload Seanalty's totally Super-Special Sonic soon! It's so awsum and needs to be brought up ten more times until it gets submitted. ... :P
  17. Wow, good call Squatch. I was thinking the same thing.
  18. When I heard Fatal Cuisine, for some reason, I expected giant food monsters fighting each other instead of generic anime style characters with random over-the-top weapons.
  19. Graphics are 10% of a character. There's also coding, game play, fun factor, creativity, balance, sound, and other things. Yes, I commend him for taking the time of ripping the images. But like I said before, graphics don't make a MUGEN character. You can have a super huge character with 3D sprites that STILL plays like crap, and you could even have a character with ugly sprites that still plays well.
  20. I haven't tried the Jago yet. I'll try it if I have the bandwidth. Also, the Dhalsims are SUPPOSED to be creepy. Edit: 260MB!?! Yeah, no. Someone else is gonna have to criticize it.
  21. Uh, okay dude. I didn't actually try to insult anyone by saying that 3D images doesn't actually make a good character, nor did I say anything about being a fan of repetition (Cause honestly I'd rather have an averagely made character who hasn't been done yet and isn't a generic anime bishi or whatever over a really awesomely made Ryu or Len edit) but whatever. I'd have to play more of his characters to pinpoint problems. So far, I've only tried his Yugo. The game-play is pretty stiff, he lacks moves and animations, the images are pretty poorly ripped, and a few other things but I'd have to use the character again to know for sure. I know it's a BETA, but still.
  22. 3D Sprites doesn't excuse crappy gameplay, though.
  23. When I first heard "KFM Arc," I immediately thought of "Neco-Arc" which lead to "Arcueid," incase you were wondering where I got the idea from.
  24. I almost want to say KFM with Arcueid's moves.
  25. That does sound odd. You hear Mature through-out the entire match, and when she dies, automatically you hear "This isn't the end, you know!"
