[Gen6][3DS] Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire
PlasmoidThunder replied to Arya Chan ☆'s topic in [ NINTENDO ]
My entire Trick Room team contains Pokémon from below OU... ...I think. I don't really check tiers. Bronzong's not OU any more, right? -
I see that a lot of Pokémon fan games are more difficult than the real deal. I recall playing Pokémon Pyrite a few years back, and the second/third Gym (can't remember which) had a freaking Electivire. The only reason I beat it is because I got lucky somehow. Some recent one that's been floating around called Pokémon Insurgence doesn't allow you to buy revives and stronger healing items from Poké Marts, I do believe.

I just turned the EXP Share off. Accidentally grinded my Pokémon to higher levels while trying to chain things with the DexNav though :P -

That's great and all, but it makes trying to catch legendaries more tedious. At least give us an option to skip it :s -
May I suggest outlining the text? Black doesn't show up very well on darker backgrounds.

Oh, I wasn't dismissing the fact that you have to battle Deoxys straight after Rayquaza -- that bit is obviously true -- just whether or not you had to catch Deoxys, and if its nature/IVs changed if you defeated it and tried to catch it later, which you cleared up, thanks. Why the heck do the more recent games have you sit through a several-minute-long cutscene? :L I haven't even caught Kyogre yet (I mean, I have, just not one I wanted to keep). Either all its stats are great, but its Speed is piss-poor, or the two non-max IVs (don't care about Attack) are utter crap. -

Thank fuck. I got worried when my friend said you fight Deoxys straight after Rayquaza. -
-Added Pokemon Mystery Dungeon - Beau Plains by Squirtle. -Fixed link for Omastar by Txpot (PCEA section). -Fixed link for Steelix by Txpot (PCEA section). I just realised that (excluding Gen VI) Gen IV has the least amount of unique Pokémon characters to its name with 16 (I count Dialga/Primal Dialga and Dialga & Palkia as separate characters, seeing as Primal Dialga is just Dialga, but Dialga & Palkia has Palkia in it). Geez guys, stop making Lucario characters :P

I hear you battle Deoxys basically right after battling Rayquaza with no chance to save in between. Is this true? And if it is, can I do the ol' Reshiram/Zekrom trick and fill out my PC boxes (leaving a space for Rayquaza) so I can catch Deoxys later with a different nature/IVs? -
If you could link to it, I'd be most grateful :3 -Changed the creator's name on ???'s Mienshao's download box to Megane-111. Apparently it's true. -Added Mienshao by Aetonal.

That was a good fictional movie. I especially liked the part where they pretended to fight.

Though I'm not usually a fan of these "spacey/techno" Pokémon remixes that deviate a fair amount from the original theme, the past few ones I've listened to have been really damn good.
-
Just custom-make your own bitmap font.

I dunno how accurate these are to the source game's graphical style, but the text is pretty darn big. Classic Sonic isn't an overly long name and yet it's overlapping with itself.

That dodge.

I know Khanny Pham, Cyberlizard and Jetgoshi are the same guy, but his creations are labelled by whoever he was referred to at the time.

Isn't nigga the politically correct term?

I always say to try 'em out yourself because opinions differ between individuals, but if you want my opinion... The edits to Jolteon, Flareon and Glaceon by Naoki2534 are reconstructions of the original versions as they were thought to be lost at the time. There shouldn't be any real differences between them, so take your pick. ShowBuySpirit's Umbreon is a good character, but its AI is pure evil. Absolute_Yveltal's version is one of those cheapie things that can't be KO'd through normals means. If you really want an Umbreon character, go with the first one. The best Mewtwo is The 100 Mega Shock!'s, hands-down. It's a bit intense on older systems (causes lag) and has a huge sprite file, so do be aware of this. Milotic... I'm not fond of either version. The first version is cheap (restores Life rapidly, deals loads of damage and has a crap-ton of Power for some reason that auto-fills), while the second is a cheapie (that said, the first version has some cheapie 12th palette thing). Both versions have huge file sizes, so I probably wouldn't bother getting either version. No version of Rayquaza is particularly amazing, though Jetgoshi's is probably the best. Cyberlizard's is overpowered, Aitya's is a cheapie and ROMASAGA's is really bad. I haven't extensively tried out all the Lucario characters, so with the exception of Black Kyurem's (cheapie) and Rodge's (original character, do not steal), I'd give 'em all a go and see which you feel is the best.
