A new Kirby stage was rumored to be a future DLC stage for the 3DS version as well, so there is that. Actually, Wolf was already supossed to appear in the very first Smash Bros game. When taking that into account...yeah, I guess Wolf as a DLC isn't that much of a stretch anymore...

Pretty much. However, Lucas' Final Smash is the least of his problems. More problematic are Lucas' specials, which are already used by Ness' Custom Moves. Moments like these make me wish that DLC characters have Custom Moves as well.
