I think if you make all darkest parts of the eva a single solid color(to replace the striped/grained look ), add a bit of shading & give a slight gloss effect to everything in general(all this because isn't a detailed draw).... some surrounding lighting, and it could blend enough well. just took a pic in game and started playing with it(ignore the cut sprite at the bottom), didn't do the first thing, but it should improve the look. you also can code the animation 2,2,2,3,4,3,2,2,2.....2,2,3,4,3,2,2,2...etc(time) or so, for a more natural movement. these are just ideas, if you ever plan on updating the graphics to blend the EVA I don't mind making the animation again, I still have the numbers used from the last time of the animation. I thought you gave up on this stage at first.
  4. liked the color mix, got the stage, I guess the only suggestion I can give is with the sun being directly behind the characters one would think the shadows would be casted in front of them, not behind. don't know, probably moving the sun to the right side, seeing how the building(& everything) cast shadow to the left.
  5. I want to focus on original stuff but everytime I'm doing it some game comes out that catches my interest, and have several unfinished original things stored I mean... I sometimes can't decide what to work on next. also haven't figured how to deal with the change of perspective of leaning planes & circular surfaces to reduce the work load on stages. I know how to do it but need to create something to reduce the input effort to the minimal, for now is too exaggerated. oh and the time....I need more time too.
  6. More than a "normally" coded stage, but not as ridiculous as some people may think. ...depends of the geometry really I think I can optimize the 1.1 version a little more.

I forgot to mention that normal hits cause damage on block and the lv 3 super, normals shouldn't do any damage & lv 3 super damage on block is half the lifebar, that's way too much, should be around 10% or so, of the damage it would make if it hits successfully. the infinites problem comes from the stun times. after checking again he still has many: -dash y is infinite alone -dash b is infinite alone -c is infinite with enough timing -z is infinite with enough timing akuma has 3000 of life there btw. for the grab I meant that Sanshrio was able to grab p2 while p2 was in mid air, grabs shouldn't do that air grabs are ok if p1 is jumping as well. also throw attempts are generally just 1 tick, and can't hit the opponent right after getting up, this is so that opponents getting up can't be locked into another grab, you made it blockable, but I think just not being able to perform it while p2 is down/getting up would work better, like KFM.
  11. Swing Holic got me curious, I like those arranges. Instead of a reflection, a subtle shadow gradient would work better, since the water is too turbulent. same for the floor, instead of darkening. Also the characters casting shadows but the lack of them from the furniture, seems odd, especially since the source of light is right in front. Some subtle shadows would make the stuff blend better. I'd go easier on the hues, as for now the stage is too monochromatic, I know is a sunset, but still. I'd say the stage could have benefited with parallax, but I guess that's asking too much as the furniture must be edited to match the change of perspective. As for the character, after some minutes: -crouching attacks don't connect when p2 is on stand state. -a,b, down down b, is an infinite -is intentional to be able to spam all the helpers(strikers & projectiles) one after another even when the same helper is still in game?, speaking of it, the strikers are supposed to follow p2 even when jumping?, also the projectiles do too much damage on block. -throw is 15 ticks, has range and it's unblockable, can grab you in air and right after getting up. so you have a better idea: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xIxKZIu4_Q -he also disappears 1 frame when turning
  12. Downloaded both v 1.06 & the AI. When I use a launcher and the char recovers it stands in mid-air, not always but happens a lot(almost at the end of the video), sinks in the floor sometimes, I can't recreate it though, I've only seen the AI doing it.   15. Hi, this is my first character and took me 4 years to make so it's not perfect, but I put a lot of effort in the sprites and gameplay.
