  1. Primal Rage seems cursed in mugen for some reason. Still, I'm glad a Sauron exists. A sequel is highly unlikely considering Time Warner interactive is gone now. If anyone could do it, it would be Warner Bros. which absorbed Atari's assets with midway. (I think anyway, last I checked, Midway published it as part of Midway arcade treasures 2 which means midway owned rights to it at least partially.) Atari doesn't do shit now but run casinos so I doubt they'd care if WB decided to do a new primal rage game, though they're probably too busy with other games to give a shit. Still, I hope you reconsider. I'd be interested to see a sauron made. Sauron is one of my favorites from the game. (Grapefruit crush fatality ftw and spammy air throw lol.) Primal Rage is one of the few fighters I'm actually somewhat good at (not to mention knowledgable about.) so seeing more PR characters would be great. Especially if they played like their game counterparts. That was a character of diablo, not of Sauron. He did use some of sauron's sounds for it. Caeser made a sauron which might be the one you're describing. He also did an armadon as well, which was also a sprite swap of Lord Sinestro's Diablo. Lord Sinestro's Diablo is probably the most finished of his three Primal Rage characters. Talon's AI is a little cheap and unpolished, Vertigo has a weird bug where she uses her tail sting attack before round 2 even starts, making the player take damage before they fight back (or the opponent if you're playing as her) These three characters are okay, but isn't it about time we got a source accurate Primal Rage character? The None's Blizzard and Chaos were an insult to me personally.
  2. Sorry if this thread's old but welcome to the boards supremeshark. Hope you have a good time. And regarding Movie Maker, there's a reason people hate it. It's because the WMV format has a habit of butchering video quality. Newer versions don't give you an option to dump to AVI format unfortunately. For best quality, AVI is the best route. (just make sure it's a codec that youtube can read)
  3. So I do music with soundfonts and midis. Lately I've been on a Castlevania music binge but I have other music tracks from other games I've done as well. My Castlevania mixes can be found here. https://www.mediafire.com/folder/6blc5x65nhy53/castlevania_mixes Most of them are Aria of Sorrow mixes but I've done mixes from other games as well such as Dracula X SNES and Circle of the Moon. (working on some from other games as well, such as Iv but getting them to sound right is why it's taking so long) I've done other mixes for other game midi's as well. These are old Golden Axe mixes I did a couple of years back. I could probably redo them now actually. Some of them were really lazily made personally. https://www.mediafire.com/folder/zk1i56ttzit09/Golden_Axe_mixes Battlefield is probably the best of the bunch, but even that one could be improved upon. Various Altered Beast mixes. Some are good, some are bad. https://www.mediafire.com/folder/5r9hsjcagtn69/Altered_Beast_mixes It's mostly different mixes of the Beast theme and Level 1 theme Jurassic Park SNES https://www.mediafire.com/folder/q2eu1q9k72a4r/Jurassic_Park_SNES_mixes These mixes are pretty recent. They turned out pretty good IMO and that's saying a lot considering the MIDI's weren't completely true to the music track with their default instrument setup. I had to mess around with them in synthfont a little to get proper instruments and fix other problems (as in back channels being much louder than the main channel) Doom music. https://www.mediafire.com/folder/i6xzu8y653qxl/Doom_mixes Anyone that messes with Midis will probably take a shot at doing soundfont mixes of Doom I and II's music. Here's some of my doom mixes over the past couple of years. As you can tell my sound font is different in some of these because they're much older. There's also duplicates of some I've redone over the years with the newer soundfont. Assorted other mixes https://www.mediafire.com/folder/qusc9o479ysau/Other_assorted_mixes mixes from various games. Not much to really say other than some are good, some are bad. Give them a listen and draw your own conclusions as some are quite old.
  4. Ryu: What's the problem Guile Guile: I'll tell you the problem. E Honda's venue is a BATHHOUSE! Like a full on "We're all guys here so let's get naked!" bathouse! E Honda: What? In my culture it's a familiar setting. Guile: Hey no one told me I'd be fighting with all these "sushi rolls" hangin' out. Ryu: IT WAS ALL DESCRIBED IN THE PA- *beep* ah hold on a minute. What is it? Blanka: HOO HAA HOO HAA RAAAAAAA! Ryu: NO DON'T YOU SCREAM AT ME! It's specifically noted that your hotel, doesn't allow pets.
  5. It may have already been out on other systems (haven't been keeping track) but it's now out on steam. What is the HD remaster? Well, it's an HD version of the remake released on the gamecube in 2002. It was a must have for gamecube owners back in the day. Those of you saying "THEY REMADE IT FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME" are stupid though. The original 1996 game wasn't "remade a million times" as some of you "non-fans" think. It was ported from the PS1 to various consoles, even a gameboy color port was planned (but cancelled because Capcom didn't like the presentation, which is how we ended up with Gaiden) Despite its popularity, the 1996 game is no longer canon. The REmake is considered what truly happened that night at the mansion. (though the actual canon is mostly Chris's gameplay with some of Jill's, so it's a mix of the two that gives the true canon.) Among the things introduced in the 2002 game were retconned. The REmake is supposed to be 70% different from the original. Here's a list of what's different from the 1996 game. -In addition to some of the old places you can explore, an entire West wing of the mansion is explorable now and actually early parts of the game have it to where you have to travel through it to get required items. -A new back story for how the mansion was built was added. Involving an architect named George Trevor. Him and his family are abducted by Umbrella for knowing too much about the mansion. His wife and daughter are experimented on and he dies in one of the many traps he designed for the mansion via starvation. His wife is killed for showing no bonding to the virus and his daughter becomes a guinea pig for decades to come -That guinea pig, Lisa Trevor, is also a key plot point. A horrid abomination some 30 years later when the survivors of STARS alpha team find her. She's immortal and cannot be killed. (only knocked unconcious and it's a waste of ammo to do so. It's better to run from her as her attacks can kill you in about three hits) she's also the key source of the G Virus from RE2. -Better acting obviously. -Barry no longer uses a Colt Python as his preferred side arm. Instead, he has a custom Colt Anaconda named "The Silver Serpent". The Colt Python is demoted to a weapon you find on the mansion grounds. This Anaconda is used in RE5 and The Mercenaries 3D as a melee attack. Jill can acquire the Anaconda if Barry dies, but there's no reserve ammo for it and it only carries about 7 shots. -Speaking of the colt python, it's now obtained via the wind crest puzzle in the courtyard cemetary. -The game has defensive weapons. Items that can be used immediately when grabbed by a zombie or other enemy. There are three types of defensive weapons and all of them are scattered throughout the mansion: The defense dagger which both Jill and Chris can use. This weapon deals about half of the assailant's health in damage. Chris or Jill take it and stab the attacker into the side of their head. This is enough to cause a zombie to become grounded. If you manage to decapitate a zombie that was previously stabbed by one, you can get the defense dagger back for another use. Stun Gun/Taser (Jill only.): Jill must find batteries scattered throughout the mansion to use this. When an enemy latches onto her, it's an instant kill using this, frying the zombie or other attacker to a crisp. This counts as burning the corpes btw, so you can save some of your kerosine. Flash Grenade (Chris only) scattered throughout the mansion, Chris can use this flash bang to instantly decapitate any enemy that pins him down or grabs him. He shoves it in the attacker's mouth and they sit there for a few seconds unable to move before it explodes and decapitates them. The flash grenade can be blown up prematurely by shooting it. This will decapitate any enemy that grabs or pins Chris down, even Hunters! Caution is advised however, as the blast can injure chris pretty badly if he's too close when the flash grenade explodes. -Zombies must now be decapitated or have their bodies burned. Leaving a dead zombie will cause V-ACT to activate. V-ACT causes the zombie to become a crimson head, a much faster, more powerful variation with sharp claws, blood-red heads (hence the name), and white glowing eyes. Decapitating a zombie will stop it from coming back as a crimson head. Otherwise, after killing a zombie, you'll need to use the fuel canteen (with kerosine inside of it. You can find it in various places throughout the mansion, mostly in or near save rooms) and lighter (Chris starts with a lighter while Jill has to find it) to burn the corpses (Jill can burn zombies by also killing them with flame rounds from her grenade launcher or using her stun gun), otherwise, 15 to 30 minutes later, the Zombie will reawaken as a Crimson head and come charging at you. The damage they deal is nothing to sneer at too. The good news is, if you do happen to forget any zombies and they come back as crimson heads, once they're dead, they don't come back. There are a few crimson heads that you're forced to fight however. edit for update: If you're running a lowend PC, I don't recommend the PC port. Wait for the console ports to launch or get the original gamecube version or the port to the Wii.
  6. Blanka isn't gory, you derp. DBZ is gory because it's just violent. (especially the manga. The anime toned down the violence quite a bit actually. There's a scene in the manga where Dr. Gero rips off a guys head. In the Anime, he smashes the guy's head through the roof of his car and chokes him to death instead) On another note, if an MK character WAS in Smash Bros, they'd have to have their violence on attacks toned down quite a bit. Try thinking DC vs. MK. This full game is probably meant to seem like "what if Nintendo made it". I'd like to see Bayonetta, but I know that's not gonna happen, for one thing, there's no sprites, for another thing, it would be hard to make the full game in the style of "what if Nintendo made it" without forcing Bayonetta out of character. A similar problem happened with Sonic and All stars racing transformed with Bayonetta.
  7. Okay, so here's what I have to say -Shadow has an infinite with his Y button punch. The attack can stunlock enemies repeatedly, a few can break out of the stunlock but most can't. -Vicious has an attack that takes out a huge amount of health from most characters, even One Hit K.O.ing a few characters. It's that one flurry punch thing (dunno what it is) but yeah, you'll know it when you see it. -Also with Vicious, his sprites disappear when thrown (only tested with True Blue Sonic) -Gizoid is pretty aggressive when controlled by the AI. (dunno if it was intended or not) -Tails' projectiles stop halfway across the screen which makes it hard to hit far away opponents. I'm not the best at giving feedback as I mentioned before. I'm a little surprised certain levels didn't have familiar sonic tunes as well. Namely Hidden Palace Zone. I do have the prototype metropolis zone theme on my computer btw, if you want to use it for Wood zone. Just a thought.
  8. *claps* Good job Trin. Superb feedback IMO. And now Neo, as promised I'll try out your new demo myself
  9. Okay, so I tried it out. I know I said I edited my post but it's been over 24 hours so I figured I'd make a new one instead. so, here's what I have to say. To start with, I am in no way an expert on character coding so if you're looking for detailed feedback, I'm sorry: - Some of the characters are broken as hell. Super Sonic has a high damaging special that's somewhat easy to execute that can One hit kill some characters and severely damage others -why is perfect Chaos playable? - Amy Rose needs a slight tweak to her aI. It's fine for her to be aggressive, but she's basically spamming the same move over and over making it hard to get in in close quarters -Psychosonic - Just.... wtf? yeah, really weird character, probably why it's named that. -The music is meh. If you need any actual sonic music, let me know. I have a whole library full of it, and I also know how to use Synthfont so I can make mixes of music tracks using MIDIs. I even have a Sega Genesis/Mega Drive soundfont (based off of the SMPS sound driver, which the sonic games use) Like I said, you really need to get an expert to play. I'd try Alex S. He gives wonderful and detailed feedback.
  10. Well, it does abuse that, but I was referring to the spin attack it does that sends you helplessly flying into the air. The AI spams it a lot.
  11. so about the AI located on this guy's onedrive, is it compatible with this version?
  12. That Mewtwo by Megashock 100 needs an AI. It never had one that I'm aware of. As for Lucario, Dshiznetz lucario is good but the AI, holy shit. It abuses this one move over and over if you aren't careful.
  13. Yeah, it's idiotic, especially since 3DS is capable of being patched as older versions of X and Y show. *cough* that one bug* cough*
  14. So, basically he can counter walls like Slaking and Blissey?
  15. Thanks for this dude. Need some more people to talk to. It's been very boring lately on my end.
  16. I know his base stats are somewhere in the 300's. I wanna say 308 or 380 but I'm not sure. Need to check.... oh no, it's actually 468. That's pretty solid for a base stat total considering the average is between 400 and 600 currently iirc. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Crawdaunt_%28Pok%C3%A9mon%29#Base_stats Judging by the distribution, I guess I should make my Crawdaunt focus more on physical attacks. I think mine knows Swords Dance too.
  17. So, where's Crawdaunt on this list? This is gonna sound weird, but I like Crawdaunt.
  18. I had something similar happen to a fullgame PC mod once on mediafire. Rather than removing the file they "suspended" it. The community happened to be tight with the company that holds the rights so I contacted their PR at the time and she sorted the mess out. so yeah, I know all about false claims like this. As the phrase goes, haters gonna hate.
  19. What is D. Rac supposed to be exactly? I know it's an OC but is it like a heavily abused stuffed animal or something? Looks kinda pissed.
  20. Most detailed feedback I've saw in a long time for any character Alex. I guess they didn't give you Evaluator rank for nothing. Good thing I read your feedback, almost downloaded it.
  21. Gotcha Rice. It won't happen again. (at least I hope not) Anyway, I'm gonna test your full game out now Neo. I'll edit my post with feedback when I return. (unless of course someone else has posted. in that case I'll just make a new post)
  22. If this is about cheap bosses, you obviously haven't fought SuperMystery's Eternals in boss mode. (of course, they're meant to mimic bosses from their source game and they were really cheap too) Trinitronity, so far, all the posts you've made have either been really dumb or overly aggressive. If you can't contribute to the conversation, then please leave the thread, simple as that. You're turning a thread that's meant to be productive into a mess. Anyway Neo, I've cleared up some disk space so I should have some room to try SSF2 out.
