MugoUrth Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 The sprites seem awfully dirty. Where did you get the sprites. Mega Evil Ninja Slurpuff STRIKES AGAIN!!! http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-86635112
柊 明 Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 I know but I did the first time as accident, im sorry I guess you can remove the topic.
Pasctipac Posted May 14, 2013 Author Posted May 14, 2013 http://spriters-resource.com/ It is removed already btw
MugoUrth Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Huh. That's what they look like in game, according to the sprite-sheet. All those grey border pixels look kind of ugly though. Mega Evil Ninja Slurpuff STRIKES AGAIN!!! http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-86635112
Laharl Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 I will if (if i ever get back to it get back to making bowser the normal one from this game make a black outline on all the frames rather than gray. btw this game is an rpg on the ds called bowsers inside story in it you switch control between mario and luigi and bowser through the story. Its personally my one of my favorite nintendo rpgs. Next to fire emblem of course.
Pasctipac Posted May 14, 2013 Author Posted May 14, 2013 yeah, I dont know how to remove them, the grey outline
Laharl Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 you have to literally color every frame using a photo program on each sprite. for the best effect the next would changing the gray in the pallete to black.
Glisp Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Well, I know programs like Gimp have an option that allows you to select pixels of a single color. While they're selected, you can recolor anything else. You can then do a flood fill and the "fill selection" option to clean the sprites up more quickly. Though be careful, pixels with similar colors will be colored in which means any other pixels of the same color may be filled in as well. Just chillaxin' on the beaches of South Island and chuggin' down your Coca-Cola.
Pasctipac Posted May 14, 2013 Author Posted May 14, 2013 Oh gawd....Im to lazy to recolor every frame xD
Laharl Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 I hear you but laziness will get you nowhere :P. trust me on that.
RicePigeon Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Fighter Factory 3 has the Palette Remap pen in the editting tools. That will reduce the workload significantly.
柊 明 Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 I hear you but laziness will get you nowhere :P. trust me on that. Is not that simple to recolor the sprites...
Laharl Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 @rice i totally forgot about that thing SO MUCH TIME WASTED @akira its easy to do just really time consuming you get a black color and recolor every gray pixel with a black outline instead easy to do but takes forever to do it. Rice just reminded me an easier way and I feel stupid for forgetting about it when I could of used the damn thing myself.

As always I don't understand anything, that's why I never released a character...
Ryon Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 ignore all the comments about the grey outlines. because thats how the sprites are. so deal with it. - Characters - / - Stages - / - Screenpacks - / - Lifebars - / - Fonts - / - Full Games - / - Templates -
MugoUrth Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 We know that, but they still look odd. Mega Evil Ninja Slurpuff STRIKES AGAIN!!! http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-86635112
Pasctipac Posted May 15, 2013 Author Posted May 15, 2013 I know it looks odd but the character works finde doesnt he?
