Its only fitting as this topic is the equivalent of MFG's "Shit" thread
  2. Speaking of Stadium, I feel like replacing the Lithium battery on my Silver cart so I can reraise another bunch of teams. For the cups.
  3. If they at least put Pokemon RBY, GSC, stadium, and stadium 2 on the VC and made it so they were all compatible with one another like the original carts were... but no. We can only dream, though.. just like Pokebank
  4. Since when did this become a general 3DS topic instead of.. idk.. Pokemon?

A MISERABLE PILE OF DRAMA *throws Chianti glass* GAME OVER Press 'R' to try again
  6. Just keep in mind that it's not as effective in actual 3DS battles due to matches having a time limit, unless you can secure a KO against one of your opponent's Pokemon while keeping all 6 of yours healthy, in which case it forces you to win by time over (unless the opponent forfeits before that, in which case you still win ). Simulators like Showdown are a different story though...
  7. Swords Dance set with Close Combat, physical priority move, and a coverage move, or Nasty Plot set with Vacuum Wave + 2 Attacks. Both are ridiculously overpowered, no Pokemon can counter both sets besides Zapdos, Moltres, and bulky Gyarados, where the former requires PokeBank in order to OHKO M.Lucario back, and all three are weak to Stealth Rock, which increases the chance of an OHKO on M.Lucario's side.
  8. By extending the battle to 2,013 turns until your opponent gets bored
  9. Step 1.) Slowbro Step 2.) Leppa Berry Step 3.) Block Step 4.) Heal Pulse Step 5.) Slack Off Step 6.) Recycle Step 7.) ... Step 8.) Have fun

http://www.ratemypoo.com/ I... um... what? Why do I find this amusing?
  11. http://motoringcrunch.com/news/pokebank-servers-down/1005093/ I told you guys. I told you about the Pokebank. It keeps happening,
  12. M3FG-WWWW-WWW5-WV9V The moment you see Blaziken, MegaKangaskhan, AND Klefki in team preview, you know its gonna be a bad time... most of the time.
  13. So it looks like Mega Lucario might finally get the boot (Genesect and Deoxys-Speed as well). We'll just have to wait until the 9th and see.
  14. Ah, right, completely forgot about Choice Scarf calcs. With Choice Scarf, Timid, and max Speed investment, your speed hits 376 at lv 100 (128 at lv 50), which basically lets you outspeed everything except the following: Note: Common Choice Scarfed Pokemon in red, minimum EVs required to outspeed Scarf Timid Glaceon in parenthesis. Pokemon that require a positive speed nature will be in bold. Numbers on the left assume maximum speed EV investment. Pokemon requiring a stat boost move will be in blue. 472: Terrakion (0 speed) 459: Deoxys-Speed (0 speed) 454: Garchomp (48 speed) 448: Salamence (64 speed) 445: Genesect (72 speed) 442: Hydreigon (80 speed) 419: Ninjask (84 speed) 406: Rotom-Wash, Rotom-Heat (176 speed) 405: Mega Manectric (148 speed) 399: Mega Alakazam, Mega Aerodactyl, Deoxys-Attack, Deoxys-Normal (164 speed) 397: Mega Tyranitar (+1 Dragon Dance, 208 speed) 394: Jolteon, Aerodactyl, Mewtwo, Mega Mewtwo X, Crobat (188 speed) 390: Meloetta-Pirouette (204 speed) 389: Accelgor (204 speed) 388: Shaymin-Sky (212 speed), Chandelure (224 speed), Dragonite (+1 Dragon Dance, 224 speed) 386: Talonflame (220 speed) (nobody runs speed natures on Talonflame, so you dont have to worry about this) 383: Weavile, Darkrai, Swellow (228 speed) 379: Electrode, Mega Mewtwo Y, Noivern (244 speed) 377: Greninja (252 speed)
  15. Was having a little discussion with Noob in the chat about the merits of using Choice Specs on his Glaceon and/or Jolteon, and since I promised him some calcs against common defensive Pokemon: 252 SpAtk Timid Choice Specs Glaceon Ice Beam vs: 252 HP 0 SpDef Rotom Wash: 104~123 (34.21%~40.46%) (Guaranteed 3HKO) 252 HP 252 SpDef (+SpDef) Multiscale Dragonite: 326~384 (84.46%~99.48%) (Guaranteed 2HKO) 252 HP 252 SpDef (+SpDef) Tyranitar: 107~126 (26.49%~31.19%) (Guaranteed 5HKO after Leftovers) 252 HP 252 SpDef (+SpDef) Assault Vest Tyranitar: 72~85 (17.82%~21.04%) (0.3% Chance to 5HKO) 252 HP 252 SpDef (+SpDef) Assault Vest Goodra: 160-189 (41.67%~49.22%) (43.8% Chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock) 252 HP 0 SpDef Assault Vest Conkeldurr: 209~247 (50.48%~59.66%) (Guaranteed 2HKO) 252 HP 252 SpDef Assault Vest Conkeldurr: 153~180 (36.96%~43.48%) (Guaranteed 3HKO) 252 HP 0 SpDef Shield Forme Aegislash: 78~92 (24.07%~28.40%) (3.7% Chance to 5HKO after Leftovers) 252 HP 0 SpDef Sylveon: 176~208 (44.67%~52.79%) (37.5% Chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock + Leftovers) 252 HP 252 SpDef (+SpDef) Sylveon: 133~157 (33.76%~39.85%) (1.5% Chance to 4HKO after Leftovers) 252 SpAtk Timid Choice Specs Glaceon Shadow Ball vs: 252 HP 0 SpDef Rotom Wash: 124~146 (40.78%~48.03%) (18.8% Chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock) 252 HP 0 SpDef Shield Forme Aegislash:185~218 (57.10%~67.28%) (Guaranteed 2HKO)
  16. As I already said, Gen 4/5 RNG manipulation, but that requires Pokebank. Only way to do it within Gen 6 is to get lucky. That or GTS/Pokecheck.
  17. Considering how common Wash Rotom is, there's virtually no reason NOT to run Mold Breaker this gen.
  18. That guy was using Dig on Mega Garchomp and Rock Wrecker on his Rhyperior. I'm honestly not surprised at all that he lost. The only variants of Dig that are actually useful in battles are Bounce and Phantom Force, and even then they're never seen outside of VERY specific Pokemon, namely Gyarados, Trevenant, and Mega Banette.
  19. Loving how they included Diancie, Hoopa, and Volcanion
  20. Mega Garchomp isnt a sweeper. Mega Garchomp is a powerful mixed wall breaker that tears apart defensive Pokemon such as Gliscor, Skarmory, Hippowdon, and Ferrothorn in order to make way for another teammate to start sweeping without interruption. Its pretty much an upgraded Black Kyurem from last gen with a MUCH better typing.
  21. ... or so I herd Anyway, I didnt ask fora Chikorita but I guess a Modest Piplup is fine
