  1. 2EJG-WWWW-WWW4-J8LZ random match with a surprisingly good japanese UU-RU player. Even after screwing up the play with Garchomp I still ended up winning 3-1. Ended up getting a 5 IV Misdreavus after the match too. EDIT: lol, I forgot that I still had a full health Skarmory in reserve. But damn that Lanturn scared the crap out of me.

  4. I didn't cry now where the fuck is my Giratina?
  5. Ghetsis actually tries to kill you (damn US localization for censoring it to freeze) in B2W2, that by itself gives him points. ...followed closely by Giovanni because hes the fucking don; nothing is ever personal, its strictly business.
  6. Lysandre wanted to create a world where only those that were perfect survived. He even states that Pokemon were imperfect and thus did not deserve to exist. TLDR: Team Flare = Master Race
  7. Because nothing screams "I love animals" more than killing a Marowak in cold blood and leaving its infant child to fend for itself. Right, gotcha...
  8. How? Lysandre explicitly stated that he wanted to exterminate all the jews kill all the Pokemon, so where are you getting this from?
  9. Lysandre may have been freaking Hitler, but were you seriously expecting Nintendo/Gamefreak to put the extermination of 6 million Nosepass in a kid's game? Ghetsis is still the best villain, imo.
  10. 2XVG-WWWW-WWW4-FPDP Battle with "Bigsby", whoever you are.
  11. Gengar doesn't need Dark Pulse when he gets Stab Shadow Ball. And most Pokemon prefer Life Orb or Expert Belt over Wise Glasses.
  12. I'm pretty sure the NPC Team for the Battle Maison is based on your 3DS's FC, meaning the only way to change it is to get a new 3DS.
  13. Gengar sort of prefers to have Focus Blast if running the sub-disable set as it gives him perfect neutral coverage against everything that isn't Normal/Ghost, which doesn't exist anyway. Not saying Sludge Bomb isn't a viable move, but subdisable is usually the most common set you'll see on normal Gengar ever since they buffed up Disable's accuracy to 100%. Note that I'm not including Mega Gengar since he's currently banned from OU.
  14. My inner sex offender will never get why trolling the mugen wikia chat is so amusing...
  15. You do know that the gts gives you the option "dont include special pokemon" to filter those out, right? It won't filter out requests for regular legendaries like Zapdos but least it gives you much more reasonable requests.
  16. Because all of the Eeveelutions have one 87.5% of the time
  17. Also Noob if you're breeding Cyndaquils, mind sending one my way? I have an idea I want to try... Timid if possible otherwise i'll handle the nature through rebreeding
  18. Just added Mugo btw, reposting my fc for convenience sake: 4527-8527-5030
  19. Super Training shouldn't be used as a permanent replacement for vitamins, as they both accomplish the same thing. 10 vitamins is 100 EVs, which reduces your super training workload for that stat to 152 EVs (or 13 Level 3 super training regiments), plus, Vitamins are dirt cheap with the bargain O-power at max level.
  20. Which is why I made it a personal policy of mine that whenever I'm writing or editing an article over there, that it be written from a 3rd person neutral perspective. Basically, if the article is written in such a way that it doesn't look like an article that would have been written on wikipedia, odds are it shouldn't continue to exist as is. High standards, I know, but setting the bar higher tends to yield more productive quality control. And yes, this applies to the Nigga and Nazi Party articles on the Josh Geary wiki as well
  21. The important thing (which I think Noob's starting to understand) is that when you lose, to understand why you lost. Best method imo, which was originally posted on Smogon iirc, was that when you build a team and battle with it, record each of your battles and delete only the ones where you win, keeping the vids of your losses. Once you get around 10 losses, start watching each of those videos and study them to get a better understanding of why you lost, and will be easier to spot mistakes. At this point you'll then be able to decide if you need to work on your prediction or if you need to tweak your team/movesets. Prediction is key, but that's something else entirely. Ground types can still be poisoned. Burning and/or Pokes with high physical defense are usually the way to go against Garchomp, even against the Mega form although you still have to be careful of its increased offensive potential. Ice attacks, typically Ice Shard, is also the way to go if you plan on scoring a KO on a weakened (Mega)Garchomp or at least force it to switch out, and one of the reasons why Mammoswine is still such a good Pokemon aside from being one of the few Ice types that doesn't get neutered by Stealth Rock and being neutral to Fire and resisting Ice if running a Thick Fat variant (although the buff to Oblivious makes it a worthy contender, making him an even better Stealth Rock setter now that Oblivious blocks Taunt)
  22. Leafeon can also pass for a cleric with Heal Bell and Wish, but there's usually better Pokemon for that role, notably Sylveon, Umbreon, and Vaporeon. If you're desperate you COULD try to fit it on a sun team with Chlorophyll (Adamant Leafeon with 0 speed EVs can outspeed neutral natured base 175 speed pokes, and with 136 speed EVs can outspeed Jolly Choice Scarf Terrakion), but considering the nerfs to the weather abilities and the prevalence of stuff like Talonflame it won't be as effective as it could have been last gen. The other thing holding it back is the fact that its list of viable physical moves is just as bad, if not worse, than Flareon. Glaceon did get a small buff in the fact that Shadow Ball now hits steels for neutral damage, but it suffers from similar, albeit special and slightly more expansive, movepool issues. Unlike Leafeon and Flareon however, it can at least take advantage of Hidden Power.
  23. Most of the Eeveelutions aren't even that great, save for Espeon and possibly Sylveon. Jolteon and Vaporeon still see some useage but they're both mostly UU now (they can still be OU viable but they have more running against them this gen), along with Umbreon. And Flareon still sucks even with Flare Blitz thanks to its extremely shallow physical movepool; the only notable physical moves it gets outside of Flare Blitz are Superpower, Return/Facade, and... Bite. This thing really misses having physical Shadow Ball from Gen 3 otherwise it would have decent near-perfect type coverage.
  24. Yo dawg, we heard you like Raiko, so we put Raiko on a Raikou...
