Who dares interrupt my coronation! Megatron? Is that you?
  2. I had SS1 on my psp game "SNK Classics vol 1." The other ones I played on Samurai Showdown Anthology, also for the psp. How did six buttons work on the three button Genesis? I remember Street fighter 2 and Double Dragon 5 on the genesis had this system where you would hit the select button to switch between punches and kicks. There's always the use of a six button controller of course, so never mind. The genesis port of SS1 excluded Earthquake I think. Not that there's any big loss there, the big guy sucked in SS1.
  3. He's a bishie, an effeminate japanese man that girls go crazy over. Lookswise, he kinda reminds me of Ukyo from samurai showdown.
  4. Adrian's having trouble installing those lifebars, isn't he? Either way, I'm totally checking this out.
  5. Somehow, my PSP works. I recently tried charging it, and the light went on. Might as well play all my old PSP fighting games, like Darkstalkers Chronicles:The Chaos Tower, Street fighter alpha 3 max and Samurai Showdown Anthology. In speaking of the latter, which game in the series is your favorite? My personal favorite is Samurai Showdown six. I found the AI easier in this game than in the other ones. I like a lot of the chars in it, like Earthquake, Wan-Fu, Tam Tam, and Gen-an, my favorite Samurai Showdown char and who also has possibly my favorite fighting game ending. It's funny and heartwarming at the same time. The final boss was tough, with a super move that kinda reminds me of M Bison's level 3 psycho crusher from SFA3. During the super pause, when he uses it while you're jumping, there's a brief moment where you PRAY that you're able to jump over it, and of course it hits you. To be honest, I never really played through the other games (except for 1) as thoroughly as this one. So yeah. That was my favorite game. What is yours?
  6. Whoa, wait. Hold on. Masa made it so the 2 pane mechanic works? Yes. Yes. Oh hell yes. I imagine it's not compatible with stages from the game where you can hurt the foe by knocking him into the background tho. Stages like Billy Kane's bugged me because in Fatal Fury 2, you can hurt the foe by knocking them into the gears in the background. Whenever I fight someone on that stage in mugen, I just wish I could knock the foe into the gears.
  7. Mugenhunter? I think you might be referring to Mugenx. Either way, this seems interesting. I find it odd that no one's managed to make a smash bros mugen game (that wasn't a crappy compilation).
  8. Are you planning on making the other turtles? I'm really digging the recoloring. Where are the voices from?
  9. I'm digging the sprites. A problem I'm having is with the claw uppercut. The move has like, no horizontal range. Plus, every variation of it is the same. Also, QCB+Kick is an odd motion for an anti air. I'd imagine it would be DP+Punch or Charge down, Up Punch. I also think the HP Pepper Breath is too fast. I haven't tested it too much, but those are my two cents.
  10. Beat you to it Dumanios :D Btw, I know that my roster is awful. Lots of crappy chars I know, but hey.
  11. Holy... this reminds me of the DC comic that was given out during this year's "Free Comic Day."
  12. Seeing as how Sasquatch is one of my Darkstalker mains, I might as well put in my two cents. -The dash is probably the worst offense. Sasquatch's dash, in the source game, does not hurt on contact like it does with this char. On a similar note, during Sasquatch's dash, you are supposed to be able to do any of his air moves. You can't do this with Adrian's version. -Sasquatch's Big Freezer takes off half of the foe's life. HALF. Furthermore, it's supposed to hit once, not eleven times. There was no super pause in the original game, but I'll let it slide since he's trying to make it MvC styled. -the big breath is supposed to cover them in a huge block of ice and knock them down, not make them slightly bluish. Plus, the effect... looks awkward. I think it has to do with the fading away of the breath. Plus, it gets push back when it's not supposed to. -Z+C is supposed to summon a horde of explosive penguins, not be the same as X+A/Y+B. -The big swing is supposed to be done with a full circle, not a half circle. The big Brunch is done with a half circle. Plus, it looks awkward. It's like when he spins around with the foe, the foe disappears on one side. -There's some weird QCB+Kick attack that I don't think was ever in any darkstalkers game. Don't quote me on that, I'll have to check. -The Big Towers doesn't make a sound. -Doesn't really feel like MvC. There are no launchers -No big ice burn? Oh come on! That super was hilarious. Overall, this is what you'd expect from Adrian. On an unrelated note, do you guys know of any good sasquatch chars?
  13. When someone starts asking for donations, I just pass, thinking someone will get them their money. Didn't happen in this case. RIP
  14. Blastoise and Venusaur are the ones I'm best as. Good god, Mewtwo can't hurt Honchcrow. That's hilarious. Btw, I haven't played the game in a while, so can Pikachu hurt Sandslash?
  15. Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max for the PSP is not only my favorite of the three (four if you count Alpha 2 Gold), but my favorite fighting game of all time. I'll focus on why I prefer it over the other Street Fighter Alphas. Why I prefer it over Street Fighter alpha 2 and the like is mainly because Blanka's in it. Blanka is one of my favorite fighting game characters. It also has Guile and Cody on the roster. It's easier to do level 2/3 supers because in SFA3, you just have to press MP or HP instead of 2 buttons/3 buttons. I get how you guys feel about the music, that the music didn't need to be changed, but I like that they took that risk of not keeping the other themes. A lot of the themes, when it comes down to which one is better, fall into the "don't make me choose" category, although I do like Dan Hibiki's SFA3 theme better. M. Bison's theme has to be my favorite. That music gets me pumped like nothing else. When I was playing Crystal recently and I got up to the elite four, I played M Bison's SFA3 theme until I won. My PSP is broken though, so I haven't played it in a while. Anyway, that was my poorly written tirade about Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max and why I love it.
  16. I think the funniest win quote from Virtua Fighter 2 Genesis goes to Jeffrey (or Wolf. I forgot who had the quote). He says "Greetings from the land of beatings!"
  17. What does SVK stand for? In the thread, the guy said it related to infinite style.
  18. C-c-c-combo breaker! I wonder if anyone's beaten PCEA with Pikachu or Beedrill. They're both kinda useless imo.
  19. Ideas for rival fights Snorlax vs Slaking (both are lazy. The cutscene would involve Snorlax stealing Slaking's sleeping spot) Slowbro vs Primeape (one is chill, the other is agressive. The cutscene would involve Primeape being pissed that he can't get a reaction out of slowbro) Heracross vs Pinsir (like in the anime) Charizard vs Blastoise (because who doesn't love a good charizard vs blastoise fight) Flygon vs Tyranitar (Tyranitar's mad that Flygon is hanging out in his territory) Clefable vs Gengar (because of the fan theory) Dragonite vs Garchomp (Garchomp is on a rampage and Dragonite is trying to stop him. At the end, after beating each other up, they both collapse. It turns out they are runaways from Lance and Cynthia, who arrive to put them back in their pokeballs. Rival fights are just way too fun to think about.
