  1. E3 Week has certainly gotten interesting. Reason why I said that, well.. My dad got me this: This is also a "Pre-birthday" gift as well (Was supposed to get it on my B-day). I like my dad.
  2. I just go for what kind of gameplay that comes to mind when I (hopefully) make a character (KI 2013, P4A, UMvC3, SF, etc etc). And to answer your questions: 1. Nope, I don't have any styles that are "original" when it comes to mind (most of them are pretty much inspiration from different games) However, like Alex said, if I were to make something "original"... 2. Then yes, I would mix up aspects of gameplay. 3. Nope.. Unless if it's a "surprise" edit for a friend or something. But I don't know how to code (In fact, I'm just reading the docs as of now) so don't know when that will be. 4. I can't code AIs. If I were, probably something similar to the source game's AI (even going as far as the "Kyle" difficulty from KI) 5. 1.0. Using FF3 (Fighter Factory 3) as my char testing/sound editing ground as of now (Also for my palette ground, but don't really feel like sharing it with everyone)
  3. For the parry, as good as that sound (pressing a button to parry).. wouldn't a "just tap forward as soon as the opponent attacks" work? (Idk, I'm thinking about 3rd Strike's parry, which is quite common. Metal Gear Rising kind of did that as well, along with CvS 2 if you use the "P" groove). But anyway, hope you're still accepting feedback, cause I'm going to test these out later on. :)
  4. Well Sham, you said you wanted a exclusive new story, you got your wish.. Kind of. (From what it looks like in the trailer, it's a re-telling of the whole story, with somewhat of a twist). The gameplay though, idk what it's aiming for (new gameplay, or something akin to Tenkaichi/Raging Blast), but it looks pretty interesting. Edit: Came across this vid while finding out more about Dragon Ball Xenoverse: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1CiyyOBnmog It seems simplified, but a bit more fast-paced. Also, Idk if this is either going to get people hopes up or not, but the guys who are developing DB Xenoverse is a company called Dimps; same company who were in charge of the Budokai games.
  5. Whoa whoa whoa wait, what? The hell kind of sense are you making here? You mean to tell me that we all live in what's called the "urban dictionary life" when it comes to "waifu"? Hate to say this, but permission to put my foot down on your logic.
  6. Speaking of which, if anyone has a 3DS/Wii U (or just go to Ign/any site that streams), keep an eye out for Nintendo's digital event. It's starting at around 4 hours and 30 mins. (Basically 9:00 AM PST/5:00 PM GDT/12:00 PM EST)

  8. So for now, I'm watching 2 games being presented: COD: Advanced Warfare and Forza: Horizon 2 CoD looks alright. It looks pretty nice, but it looks like it's almost the same, just that robots are added in. Idk, I didn't payed attention to it. For Forza.. I feel like skipping it. (Not that big into racing games).
  9. I know Ryon never really mentioned having a topic on Microsoft at E3, but I'm saying "Screw it" and making one. Even though it's done, I thought I might put this up as some kind of discussion board for anyone who watched the press conference (Which I'm watching a re-play of, since I missed it). Or I can use this to see what's already announced, and put on here. :P

Since I hear that Sony is making a press conference in day one of E3, thought I might as well make a topic here as well (I'm aware that there is already one, but this one's also for Ryon when he comes back and read it). I may miss this one, so post some things about what you saw during the Press conference.

Besides, Nintendo direct will start in a few hours, so feel free to discuss about it (and the contents introduced). Edit: Can't remember if Nintendo direct's going to start first, or Sony's press conference is going to start first.
  12. Just playtested him for about 10 seconds. Let's just say.. for a beta, he has very obvious flaws (Especially on his Forward dash if spammed.. cause apparently, Toad can fly).

  14. Aside from one (That Captain America I think Quickfist used), I haven't seen these before, actually. Good job on these. Hope to see more. :)
  15. DOA 5 Ultimate, Thief, Mortal Kombat 9 (Re-learning), Persona 4 Arena, and Eternal Fighter Zero. Also playing AE as of now until I can either upgrade to Ultra, or get the retail version of Ultra.

  18. Sorry if this is a bit late, but I tested her out just today.. And there are some things I like to address: -This might be minor, but why label her as "Ruby cvs" if she doesn't have anything that feels like CvS? -Hitbox on the projectile comes out before the projectile comes in -In fact, the hitbox is mis-aligned -Qcf 2P does not hit.. at all -Some of her hitboxes looks awkward (like this one for example) -Some of the commands on her cmd aren't even there in the char herself (I can't do her "staff", which is Qcf y) -If you spam her backdash, her "run" sound overlaps -Maybe add in some kind of Damage Dampener? All I did in the corner is Her uppercut (when she's really close to her opponent), then back LK (Which is her "roundhouse") 3 times (takes a bit of timing) -Found a glitch where if you do her "Shadow" punch (qcb punch), and it doesn't transitioned fullscreen, this happens: (She gets stuck in "backwards walking" position for the whole match. The only way I can "clear" it is to either hit her, or walk back fullscreen, where she does her "shadow punch" properly) That's all I have, for now.

  20. Just a small update/a new screenshot that appeared. It's a scan from a gaming magazine that pretty much has most of the screenshots that are on the site... except: As expected, this game will also cover the Buu saga. Any thoughts?
  21. :P Even if the author's name gave out a bit of bad news, at least test it out. Who knows, it could be good.. probably. (I'm just gonna give this one a small test before I pass judgement on it)

  23. This is a pretty good Goku you made, Ryon. Actually had a bit of fun playing as him (well while testing him that is). But there's some things I noticed in this Goku that needs addressing: -Idk why, but something feels quite "iffy" about these hitboxes. -No "super activation" sound for Saiyan Rage? (Though, just a nitpick) -Guardspark still goes on after rising knee (if Goku's high enough). -Kamehameha and Spirit Bomb (along with his specials) don't do any chip damage whatsoever. -Kamehameha gives back meter. -Small Portrait for "Kaioken" looks a bit messed up Other than that (and the other things Alex from MFG mentioned in his feedback), he's fine as it is. :)
