  3. Perhaps my topic title is misleading :p I am a Nintendo fan too, or I would not have mugenized a Link for MUGEN. I know how to play the real Mahjong and let me tell you different countries have different Mahjong rules: - China (the birth place of all Mahjong's) - Taiwan - Japan ** there are public real Mahjong contests in China/Taiwan/Japan too! Not to mentioned related products like video games, movies, novels, comics, and even food - Mahjong sushi - Western countries.........not so sure though.............all I see is the Shanghai Mahjong clearance game......
  4. Toshio I know how intense you are against the English Astro Boy. It is all about cultural differences and *business doing*. It just happens to not only Tetsuwan Atomu but also countless numbers of anime and manga and video games and toys. It is good that you are willing to spend time on educating Astro Boy/Tetsuwan Atomu fans with your factual observations. Something off-topic for you: This is a camera-taken photograph of some anime magazine of my friend's. This is about a Tetsuwan Atomu exhibition that took place in the city I work in, during 2013-06 to 2013-09. I missed the chance of visiting the exhibition because I knew of this for too late. Then I saw it was mentioned in my friend's anime magazine so I used my cheap camera to take a picture for your viewing. Let me do some Chinese to English translation for this photograph: - it was an exhibition about Tetsuwan Atomu's 50th anniversary - officials invited some artists to help them re-package Tetsuwan Atomu - the news reporter who took the photographs said the most attractive product is the iPhone case (the one next to the cubic/Lego Atomu) - the rest doesn't need much translation..........

  7. It is sometimes nice to see a MUGEN author/creator who is able to keep himself/herself sticking faithfully to a particular MUGEN content making theme, like in your case, the colorful horses. So, I wish you good luck in your school and good job in working on your MUGEN horses!
  8. I suggest when you are testing your WIP, you may want to turn on the MUGEN debug mode, as it allows to see any MUGEN-reported bugs that need your attention. Like, it can show that the Guy does not have all the required get-hit sprites, which ones to be indicated in the debug messages. About the "with hyper armor to top it all off", I think you might add some character body blinking effect when the Guy is getting hit. This is kind of a common practice for characters that has some armor and has no get-hit animation. Oh by the way, you do your own voice acting for the Guy or else?

Please get his version if you have had played Mutant DNA as my version only ruins your source game Diba experience.
  12. Which backward sprites did you mean please? Any sprite numbers and/or animation numbers please? Perhaps a MUGEN F12 debug mode screen shot may help much too.............

  14. update_notes_2013-11-17: - fixed the Twin Battle Towers' "bullets" Helper to try to avoid the MUGEN HitOverride bug (i.e. by SF3 Ryu parry by GM) - fixed the butterflies appearance for the Hit_liedown (5110): player changes to get-up state (5120) when ready - made the Attack Touch come in faster to ensure a hit - removed the shadow of the Red Truth red aura Helper - re-adjusted the distance between Beatrice and P2 during the "Beatrice's Definition of a Closed Room" super move, when Beatrice is in different positions - fixed the DivineKFM being thrown bug (advised by Bjay) - disabled fall recover when P2 is hit by Attack Touch - added Attack Touch to A.I under a certain condition - made the win pose "it's perfecto" appear more when Beatrice's life >= 200/1000 - made the win pose "stomp on your head" appear less when Beatrice's life < 200/1000 - changed the A.I.   15. I was not complaining. In fact I was trying to defend for him. What I quoted from my old Maths. tutor was to point out that even the highest quality piece of MUGEN work is still considered a beta. About giving a helping hand or not, it totally depends. Most MUGEN authors/creators are busy with their own MUGEN projects. I once asked those MUGEN Pro's to take over my half-assed MUGEN stuff and to improve them all for me and what I got were all kinds of scolds, humiliations, haunting, isolation, insults, bashing, and even banish.
  16. I admit that MUGEN is made for 2D contents the best. Ripping those "2.5D/3D sprites" from SF4 or SFxTK and using in MUGEN may not fit well. I like 2D pixel sprites more in fact. And 2D pixel spriting is perhaps one of most difficult jobs in the world. 2.5D/3D modelling is perhaps easier, hence with some convenient tools, ripping those "2.5D/3D sprites" from SF4 or SFxTK can now be much more do-able. Who doesn't want a 2D SF4 Seth/Oni/Abel/C.Viper/Hakan and SFxTK Paul/Jin/Ogre/Asuka/Nina in MUGEN? This is how 2D pixel spriters like FeLo_Llop and chuchoryu get into MUGEN. Long time ago, a MUGEN author DEMAN advised me, during my first-time SF4 Golden Seth mugenization, that if I were going to rip "2.5D/3D sprites" from SF4, I had to rip as many as possible, in order to make the animation look not-too-choppy in MUGEN. That resulted in some 5000+ frames SFF files. I think the effort is worth it as it looks at least a bit smoother in MUGEN (yet the character loading time increases very much and sometimes it makes MUGEN lag). Then it comes to MUGEN coding with those ripped "2.5D/3D sprites" from SF4 or SFxTK. I don't find a big difference between working with 2D pixel sprites and those "2.5D/3D sprites", except for one thing: since some 2.5/3D features can only happen in real source games, there are many adjustments to be taken care of when mugenizing. Sprite swaps code works for KFMs only. Every character and his/her/its features and moves are unique. Even I half-ass everything when I mugenize things, I usually try to make every feature and move be able to give a minimal feel from the source game. Of course I am not good at source accuracy. Here I need to thank Cybaster & Violin Ken/Corntortillas/KoYoTae again, for helping me out during my first-time SF4 Golden Seth mugenization. I am not eligible to be compared to Orbinaut (now Mr. I?) as he is way better than me. The seal of quality shall be given to him only. Like, without his help, my SSFIV Juri Han was a trash. In conclusion, those and these "2.5D/3D sprited MUGEN characters" from SF4 or SFxTK in my humble opinion, are used as a buffer shown in this: none of 2D sprites existing => "2.5D/3D sprited SF4 or SFxTK MUGEN characters available" as a buffer => someone working on 2D sprites (i.e. FeLo_Llop working on Rose and C.Viper, as well as chuchoryu working on Tekken ones) => "2D sprited SF4 or SFxTK MUGEN characters available" => say bye-bye to stuff in the buffer and keep the 2D ones

Dream place(s) means.....some overseas countries that you have not yet had a chance to travel to, or are having hard times planning to travel to, in your current state. I am a poor guy and never gets a chance ($$$) to travel overseas outside China (just tried traveling between provinces in China). The dream place I want to travel to is Japan. It is because it is the birth place of all of my video game experiences (Nintendo, Namco, Taito, Konami, Capcom, SNK, Sega,...etc.). But I know traveling to Japan is expensive........guess I will have to win a lottery in order to get a chance.........*sigh*

  20. This is so far the best RE Chris I have tried in MUGEN. I like the Satellite Laser super very much! (well, I prefer the name Linear Launcher more in R.E. series) Besides some stiffness feel and the aforementioned issues, the VFX for the dashes doesn't quite fit in my opinion. Now I am waiting for Claire Redfield by the very same team Riklaionel & Nestor

The first time I saw this MUGEN character release, a FC/NES game popped up in my head in no time: King Kong 2, made by Konami (my favorite King Kong video game): In the Konami King Kong 2 FC/NES the Kong can do punches, stomps, and rock throws. For my personal reference, I will change Gorilla name to King Kong 2, then change its banana throw to rock throw, and add a hop-and-stomp special move, and keep the rest intact. Simple yet creative and effective release, good job Masukenpu-kun!

  25. Most custom features are cool! The coolest one in my opinion is the eagle calling! Nice~~~~~~~ I will use him to fight Samurai Showdown Nakoruru, I bet M.T.'s eagle can bite off Nakoruru's!
