A lot of people I know automatically hate a Mugen character for the same reason. I've seen few who like characters just for being Sonic.

That being said, no, this character isn't very good.

For those claiming that the character is bad (which, after testing, I completely agree with), can you at least provide a list of what's wrong with the character in order to back up your claims so your posts aren't mistaken for uninformed, mindless bashing? Thanks.

What's interesting about this is that music isn't restricted to one stage.
That essentially means any stage can return at this point.

I went with Simon Belmont. Castlevania is well deserving of being brought into Smash and I think Simon is probably the most iconic character next to Dracula.

In just three hours from the beginning of December, I finally managed to finish my new character for mugen. I think that Sonic fans will be very happy. :)

I was going to create her last year just after E123-omega, but unfortunately I had no one reference sprite. Last month, however, I accidentally came across a pretty good Cream's spritesheet, and doing some experiments, I managed to get the reference sprite I needed. Almost a couple of months of work, and that's the end result. :)

I guarantee that this is the best Cream made so far. Have fun.

This has been something that has been an ongoing thing seemingly forever, and it's not going to stop anytime soon either.
If you think that variety is sucked out of mugen and all you can find are god and orochi edits, then you're not looking in the right places.

Why does FB proves the mobile market can't be taken seriously? We have MMV remember? They release some of the worst characters on the whole community, have no notion of the meaning of quality, defend the worst with the worst arguments and their releases are actually very popular because they do the "unsung" characters, and as such, racing to be the first to release some characters makes them the only versions of those characters for month/years, meaning that people will download their version a lot, feeding their "vanguard" ego. Do they make the whole Mugen community not be taken seriously? Obviously not, they are just a example of abuse of a system, like in every other market/community. Search for Kickstarter Nonstarters on youtube to know what I mean by abuse.

And to be honest, I've entered indie development for some time, and Flappy Bird is not only a very competent and well made game, it holds a book worth of game design lessons that are actually worth learning and are considered basic to game development and design. It's not because it's simple or not your style that it's shit, and you need to learn to not hate things because it's "cool to hate". You are a part of a bandwagon just like the people who downloaded the game on mass.

So please, hate is as much of a trend as the trend itself, growing above it is the edgy thing to do.

Sidenote: So sad skittle are not very common in my province. I've eaten them just once.

Morph is an Shapeshifter, so all his attacks and some basics are done on a random way. Each move has 3 versions.

- All Air Strong kicks done (still need some auth or credit)

- Standing strong punches

- crouched weak punch

In all seriousness, I would let this topic die since there is no point in argueing anymore with Ax about anything. He has talent for stages but not for characters so just stop bashing on his characters and viewpoints.

I do want to say this : I find it incredibly rude to disregard all the effort and time Jonamite put into YOUR Link by saying there will be a better version of Link which will cause people to delete Jonamite's version.

Thank you for standing up for me on adding the Triforce Slash to Link while removing the leaf from the moveset and using it for an intro. Link has used the leaf in OoT and MM, but yeah he didn't just whip it out, he planted seeds, and jumped on it. The way it was being utilized in the initial release was horrid, and could have been easily abused. Triforce Slash added to this because what I was doing was meshing original ideas (Hylian Barrage and aerial bomb toss), items utilized in some of the 3D titles (Arrows, boomerang, hookshot) and the Smash Bros. series (Spin attack and Triforce Slash). From what I recall, Link never used the leaf for combat, but as another way to move around. To say that doing what I did was "Not improving him," "Unoriginal," or "Taking away from what made him special" infuriates me to no end. You should be glad I even gave two shits to redo Link from the ground up in terms of gameplay.
