I heard Snake got into Brawl, because when Nintendo was developing Super Smash Bros. Melee, Konami practically begged Nintendo to add Snake as a playable character, but Melee was too far into development, so he was put off until Brawl.

I have made packs that greatly improve the MvC capabilities of Dudley Puppy and Stimpy. They can cancel attacks into each other (as long as the last move hits). I have simplified the super jumps so you can simply press up after launching the opponent up into the air. I have also made it so you don't have to go to the trouble of pressing and holding down to chain into crouching moves. Which characters in MUGEN do you hate and why? It can be for cheapness, being badly made, or whatever makes you hate it. My list: Spongebob (Placemario): Cheap, spams projectiles and the kicking move. Chowder (Placemario): Sits in one spot and spams projectiles. Goofy (Placemario): Cheap and overpowered. Jake (Ivan Luiz, Edited by Placemario): Why would anyone edit something Ivan Luiz made? Storm (Kong): Uber-cheap lightning shield. Anything by SNS. Anything by S.Nara. Onix (UMVC Edit): Uber-cheap AI and has hypers that give him super armor and practical one hit killers and defeated Super Buu easily. Super Buu (Stig87): Extremely cheap AI. Bugs Bunny: Cheap and spams projectiles. K.Y-Shanxi's Bowser: Cheap! Anything by Mario11766. Magnemite: Cheap AI! Strong Bad, Green Lantern Lucario, and Invisible Woman for obvious reasons. Milotic, Absol, Scizor, and Deoxys for obvious reasons. Reshiram and Zekrom (Cheap edits of Ichigo)

Derp is from Rage Comics, which is an internet meme itself. Nyan Cat is an internet meme as well. I forgot to mention the 1105 palette. This palette originates from MadOldCrow1105's characters, but recently, other creators have made characters with that palette. Some have even made sprites in MadOldCrow's style.

For those who don't know, a meme is something that is popular and appears a lot, especially on the internet. Examples: CD-i Cutscenes, Weegee, Chuck Norris, Dancing Banana, Angry German Kid, etc. List any memes that appear throughout MUGEN. This does NOT go for characters that are internet memes, like King Harkinian, or stages, like YouTube. My list: Proton Cannon: Iron Man/War Machine's hyper in the Marvel vs. Capcom games. Iron Man and War Machine both have this hyper in MUGEN as well. Many other characters seem to have this as well, even if the original hyper isn't included in the character, the Proton Cannon's design itself appears in characters. Examples: Iron Man, War Machine, Android 18, Chuck Norris, Rox Howard Clones. Omega Characters: I'm pretty sure this started with Omega Tiger Woods, but there are a lot of MUGEN characters with the title, "Omega". (Does not include Omega Red.) Typically, Omega characters are cheap. Examples: Omega Tiger Woods, Omega Tom Hanks, Omega Adolf Hitler, Omegarotom, Omega Whispy Woods. Symbiote Characters: Originating from the Spider-Man comics, Spider-Man's and Venom's appearances in MUGEN have triggered "Symbiote Edits" or other characters, usually enhanced or cheap. Symbiote characters very often have appearances of Venom-based attacks. Examples: Symbiote Onslaught, Symbiote Super Mario, Symbiote Spongebob, Symbiote Galactus, Symbiote Spider-Man. Shun Goku Satsu: Originating from Street Fighter as Akuma's ultimate move, it has become a popular instant-killer in MUGEN, and many characters have it. Examples: Evil Ryu, Evil Ken, Akuma, Rare Akuma, Heather, Dancing Banana, Zim, Mr. Bean, Stimpy, Gumball, Chuck Norris, Weegee, Kirby, Ed, Eddy, Homer Simpson, Umbreon, Cartman, Bloo. Kung Fu Man: He is often used as a base for MUGEN chacters, but there are also many edits of him. His hypers, Smash Kung Fu Upper and Triple Kung Fu Palm are also used a lot. Examples: Kung Fu Man, Kung Fu Man 720, Evil Kung Fu Man, The Kung Fu Man, Capcom Kung Fu Man. Crappy Character Ownages: YouTube videos showing many characters KOing a crappy character over and over again. Examples of characters used for ownages: Leonidas, Justin Bieber, Actarus's Characters, cheap characters.

I had those three when I first started playing MUGEN and they were a ton of trouble for me. I can beat Pikachu fairly easily now, but Mario and Luigi are still pretty hard for me to beat. Storm by Kong is on my list, because she is uber-cheap. First off, because Kong is the author of this character, you already know it has insanely cheap AI, but this is just plain impossible. Like many of Kong's MvC2 characters, she LOVES to spam projectiles, but it doesn't stop there! ONE of her hypers makes her near-impossible to beat unless you are using some uber-cheap character like Weegee or Chuck Norris. Her Lightning Shield only takes one bar to use and makes her COMPLETELY invincible for at least 30 seconds! Mario's Super Star hyper takes THREE bars to use and it doesn't last nearly that long! Oh, and did I mention that she can fly?

What is the hardest boss for you to beat in MUGEN? I have three bosses that are very hard for me to beat: GLaDOS (In MUGEN? Near impossible...) Symbiote Onslaught (Try to get through his first form...) Abyss (Second form especially!) GLaDOS is DEFINENTLY the hardest boss to beat in MUGEN!

I have 2 more: Onix (UMVC Edit): Uber-cheap AI. He has hypers that give him super armor and invincibility. Projectile spammer. Storm (Kong): One specific hyper makes her extremely uber-cheap. Her Lightning Shield. It makes her invincible AND gives her super armor for at least 30 seconds! And only take 1 bar to use. She spams it all the time!

Found out the gameplay style I was thinking of was SNK, not King of Fighters. Again, it is so hard to pull off combos with it and it is unbelievably hard to pull off hypers, and I also don't know what's with the Groove System. (Homer Simpson and Santa Claus have this type of gameplay and their attacks are hard to pull off.) I thought it was King of Fighters, because MadOldCrow1105's Kirby has hard to pull off commands and his site says it's "KOF-Styled".

My Kirby's sometimes like that, where he doesn't do very much until he's in his groove.

What characters do you think will appear in Super Smash Bros. Universe? List what characters and why you think they will appear. My List: Zoroark: Basically the next Mewtwo/Lucario. Megaman: The possibility of a Capcom character was mentioned, and he is one of the most popular Capcom characters. Could be seen as Samus's rival. As GarchompMatt mentioned, a lot of his games were on early Nintendo consoles. Ryu: Another Capcom character possibility. He comes from a fighting game and is also very popular. Takamaru: A game based off his franchise appeared in the Wii U title, Nintendo Land. Being a Japan-only character, an appearance in the next Super Smash Bros. could signify an international release game, like with Marth and Roy in Melee. (Marth and Roy's popularity in Melee got Fire Emblem released internationally.) Also, like Pit, R.O.B., and the Ice Climbers, he is a classic Nintendo character. Cloud Strife: Square Enix has helped Nintendo with various games, most notably Super Mario RPG. He could be seen as Link's rival. He is arguably one of the most popular characters from RPGs.

List characters that have no good versions made of them for MUGEN. Characters that count as not good are crappy characters and cheap characters. Only list characters that have been made for MUGEN. Don't list any that haven't been made. My List: Samus (Metroid) Pretty much all versions of Samus are cheap. There is a Zero Suit Samus for MUGEN. There aren't any good or not cheap versions of Samus in the Varia Suit. Olimar (Pikmin) There are 3 versions. All of them are bad. One is a spriteswap of Waddle Dee. Why can't someone make a good Olimar for MUGEN!? Pit (Kid Icarus) Seriously? No good versions of Pit? Sephiroth (Final Fantasy) But probably not for long, as I heard dagar is making him. Donkey Kong (Donkey Kong) Again, really? No good Donkey Kong? Jigglypuff (Pokemon) It's hard to believe that there isn't a good Jigglypuff out there, even with her being in all of the Super Smash Bros. games. Chuck Norris (The Internet) One's a Joseph Joestar edit and all the others are extremely cheap. King Dedede (Kirby's Dream Land) There only seem to be 2 versions of him. One not very good regular King Dedede and Masked Dedede. There isn't a good regular King Dedede out there... Morshu (YouTube Poop) Only one version and it isn't good. R.O.B. (Gyromite/Stack-Up) Not even a good R.O.B. out there, either... Marth (Fire Emblem) Can't find a good Marth, either... Ganondorf (The Legend of Zelda) The only version I've found is really bad and has a glitchy attack. Tingle (The Legend of Zelda) No good versions of Tingle, either...

I don't really think people should keep characters private just to make people jealous. Though, people have their reasons for keeping them private. They might be protecting them from unauthorized edits, or are maybe waiting for the right time to release them. As for rare characters, it annoys me that some characters are hard to find. I had such a hard time finding Colonel Sanders and Angry German Kid (before I joined MUGEN Free For All) and I can't seem to find the original Omega Tom Hanks. (I only found a "special edition" version that replaces his movie posters with pictures of other characters.) I also can't find Omega Tiger Woods 2008. Also, these three characters are VERY rare and I can't find them: Fire Dragon, Ice Dragon, and Lightning Dragon. I'm pretty sure a lot of characters became rare when MegaUpload was shut down, for example, Petey Piranha. They can also become rare if the person who posted them closes their account or removes them, for example, the NES Stages from Zelda II and Metroid. I'm pretty sure eSnips is a primary reason for rare characters, too, because nobody likes to use it. (It requires you to download a downloader and I hear it downloads a lot of viruses.)

40 Gokus!? I never knew there were THAT many! I absolutely knew he was one of the most-created characters for MUGEN! I can only imagine how many Ryus and Marios there are! If someone is going to make a character that's already been made, it should be of a character that has no good versions, like Pit or Olimar, not one who's been made a billion times, like Goku!

I agree with you there. There are just so many people who play Call of Duty and Halo, that games like fighting games and platformers don't seem to get as much attention as they used to... I'm pretty sure this is one reason why lots of people tend to shy away from the Wii U and 3DS.

Pikachu had the top tier in SSB and can be pretty overpowered in Brawl. Yeah, I know they won't get in, but it would be pretty cool. Good point on Megaman. The original Megaman was for the NES and there is a Virtual Console Megaman game in the eShop.
