  1. What attacks are used in many MUGEN characters. By this, I mean many characters using the same attack. These can include varients of the same attack, such as a Triple Kung Fu Palm that hits more than three times. The most overused attack for me can only be described as this: Shun Goku Satsu. Characters that use Shun Goku Satsu: Akuma, Rare Akuma, Gumball, Ronald McDonald, Chuck Norris, Kirby, Dancing Banana, Weegee, Bloo, Heather, Eddy, Homer Simpson, Cartman, Franko, Evil Kung Fu Man, Miyoco, Zim, Stimpy, Mr. Bean, Koopa Troopa, Very Cheap Insane Silly Gaelik SSJ135, Cheap Homer Type, Sonic, Evil Ryu, Evil Ken, Evil Homer, Sheldon Cooper, Klonoa, and more. It is completely overused as a popular instant-killing move. It is completely ridiculous how so many characters have this move. Typically, badly-made characters have this move as well as really well made ones. Most of the time, Shun Goku Satsu is an instant-killer, but not always. Ronald McDonald's and Weegee's Shun Goku Satsus are examples of non-instant-killer versions. If you're wondering why Kirby is on the list of characters that can use it, MadOldCrow's Kirby can use it in overdrive mode.
  2. I kick butt with MvC-styled characters. I also kick butt with CHOUJIN-styled characters.
  3. Got a bunch of reasons: Cheapness: Pretty obvious reason. Unkillable: Again, obvious. Ridiculously High Attack: This gets on my nerves a lot, because the character can easily kill you, especially if they have ridiculously high health or defense. Ridiculously High Health/Defense: This can make a character very difficult to beat. If a character has 4000 defense and 2000 health, it takes FOREVER to beat it. Cheap AI: Especially lockdown, cheap combos, and projectile spammers. Best example of cheap AI: Stig87's Super Buu and Megaman by Megaman. Lockdown AI: They never stop attacking until you're dead. Mario and Luigi are obvious examples of this. Cheap Combos: AI can pull off combos no human can do. Because of this, Megaman and Dragon Claw are nearly impossible to kill! Projectile Spammers: You can never get close enough to hit the character. Iron Man and Dr. Doom fly where you can't reach them and spam projectiles, which is irritating. Long-Reaching Moves: Especially if they can reach across the whole screen and are overpowered. Badly-Made: Obvious reason. Poor Gameplay: Wlan's Zim has the worst gameplay I have ever seen. It is near impossible to win with him, because his attacks are underpowered and have very short reach. His combo ability is awful. Spriteswap: Obvious reason. Loud/Annoying Sounds: Fight GohanSSM2's Kid Goku and you'll see exactly what I mean. His voice will haunt your worst nightmares... Shun Goku Satsu: Shun Goku Satsu is one of the cheapest and most overused moves ever. Healing Moves: These will drive you insane. Notable examples of characters with healing moves are Umbreon and AirMoto. Unblockable Moves: These make it easy for the opponent to kill you. Ginyu constantly spams an unblockable hyper. Inconsistant/No Hitboxes: Obvious reason. Can't be F1'd: Also obvious. Excessive Guarding: This is annoying, especially with M. Bison who guards like 90% of the time. K.Y-Shanxi's Bowser... He is extremely cheap, because of his overpowered long-reach moves. I can NEVER kill him!
  4. I totally agree that there needs to be a good Jigglypuff for MUGEN. There's one that isn't THAT bad, but it's not exactly good either. It's based off the Jigglypuff from the Pokemon anime. (I heard Jigglypuff got into Super Smash Bros., because it's popular in Japan.) I've seen videos of work-in-progress Type-Wild Breloom, Lopunny, and Swalot. I wonder whatever happened to them? Also makes me wonder when FelixMario2011's Snivy is going to be released. Says on MUGEN Database that it was planned to be released July or something.
  5. Ever try the Pokemon World Tournament in Driftveil City? If you ever participate in the Hoenn Leaders challenge, just hope you're not against Norman. That Slaking is evil! (How the heck is that thing faster than my Mienshao!?) I typically get very bad luck. I always seem to end up against Dragon, Fire, or Flying-type leaders... If you want me to tell you how to get Regigigas, I can tell you.
  6. I need help with another attack. For this attack, I need Kirby to appear behind the opponent and be facing them to attack. It's supposed to be a sneak attack, so I don't think the opponent should turn to face him. By the way, what do you think of my progress so far. I think Kirby's pretty close to completion by now.
  7. I thought it would be pretty cool to post these. I was watching videos of hacked Super Smash Bros. Brawl games and I found some pretty neat hacks. Most if not all of these characters have customized movesets and final smashes, such as Sephiroth's and Goku's. These show characters made. Cloud vs. Sephiroth: Goku vs. Vegeta: Mewtwo vs. Rotom: Red Pikmin: Note that Rotom's hack is a bit buggy. Also note that Vegeta's a moveswap of Wolf.
  8. Here's a tip for beating Homer Simpson. He tends to try the same things on you. He eats a burger, crawls to the other side of the screen, and uses Bash Dash Masher. It can be pretty easy to predict when he will use it. If you can't predict when he will use it, use the superpause when he uses it to your advantage. Just be careful, because he does have a Shun Goku Satsu he can use during drunk mode. Bash Dash Masher can be blocked, and when he makes contact with you with the move while you guard, he will be wide open to a counterattack. If he goes into drunk mode, then you're pretty much toast. Otherwise, Homer's not to difficult for me to beat. As for Gardevoir's AI Patch, she does counter nearly every hit. You should see what happens when you pit her against Shoop Da Whoop.
  9. Here's one that creeped me out: The fortune teller from Skyward Sword. I always thought the fortune teller was a girl, because of his hairstyle, eyes, and voice. When I found out he was a guy, that surprised me. A lot.
  10. How is that possible? She used a Shun Goku Satsu on him, which requires Trollface to be grabbed. Trollface doesn't have hitboxes. Anyway, here's another new one: Rick Astley: He has no hitboxes, so he can't be defeated under normal circumstances, and he RickRolls you for the entire match. But he's a joke character, so that's to be expected, though I really do wish someone would make a good version of him for MUGEN.
  11. Sounds cool. The rotate thing seems useful, though there IS a rotate tool in Fighter Factory for sprites, but that tends to crop off parts of the sprites. I hear they are going to make an online vs. feature, which would be so awesome!
  12. I'd figure I'd start another topic concerning the word cheap. For this topic, I want you to list the cheapest attacks that characters have. You may include one-hit killers, spammable moves, moves that do too much damage, and others. List the attack, the character that uses it, and why it's cheap. My list of cheap moves: Shun Goku Satsu, Various: Instant killer that is extremely overused. Armaggedon, Omega Tiger Woods: Summons many missiles that do ridiculous damage. The 2012 version's is less cheap. Fullscreen Attack, Ryugen: Ryugen spams this all the time. The gold palette gives infinite use to this attack. Summon Naruto, Sasuke-Kun: Extremely overpowered, spammable, nearly unavoidable, does a lot of damage even when guarding. Summon Kakashi, Sasuke-Kun: Extremely overpowered, spammable. Shadow Clone Jujitsu, Naruto-Kun: Summons at least 10 clones that juggle you and make it impossible to win the match. Face of Doom, Zim (Old Version): Spammable, does a lot of damage even when guarding. Random H-Bomb, Zeeky H. Bomb: One-hit killer you CONSTANTLY have to watch out for, because if you attack Zeeky H. Bomb while he uses this, you're as good as dead. In team battles, your partner is very likely to attack him while he uses this. Moonlight, Umbreon: Heals over half of max health. Getsuga Tensho, Reshiram/Zekrom: Extremely overpowered and takes out at least two thirds of your health. Wazzup Blowup, Annoying Orange: Unavoidable one-hit killer. Mario Finale, SSBB-Styled Mario: Extremely overpowered. Axe, Dink Smallwood: Very spammable and cheap. Fullscreen Attack, AirMoto: Spammable, overpowered, and unblockable. Bio, Sephiroth: If you attack while affected by this, you take damage. Devastating to opponents with good AI.
  13. There's actually an AI patch for this Sonic, as well as MUGENHunter's Shadow, Knuckles, and Ashura. Let me tell you, Sonic and Shadow have some seriously cheap AI. They keep you in a corner and spam upwards spin dashes on you. That and the sheer overpowered-ness of their attacks! Also, the Kung Fu Man AI patch by Ironcommando is seriously cheap. It can pull off combos that nobody could hope to pull off and he constantly bounces you off of the edge of the screen.
  14. Thank you for telling me who that author was. His charcters' AIs are very cheap. Forgot to put these ones. Ryugen (Moku, Gold Palette): Both versions of Ryugen have this palette and it gives them infinite use to hypers, which allows them to spam the fullscreen attack. The King (Quetzalcoatl_88, AI Patch, Level 8): A typical fight with The King: Mah Boi! Mah Boi! Dinner! Dinner! Dinner! Dinner! Dinner! Dinner! Dinner! Dinner! Dinner! Goes on... He can beat just about anyone by spamming dinner. Captain Falcon (Kamekaze): His AI is programmed to never give you a chance to attack, otherwise known as a lockdown AI. He can use attack cancels to keep using moves on you, especially his Raptor Boost. Still, this is one epic Captain Falcon! Also, I totally agree that hi-res Goku's AI can be cheap, especially with his ability to gain stats. One of his specials took out around half of my health because of that ability. Sephiroth is pretty much a pushover for me. I fixed his hitboxes and now he's pretty easy for me to beat. (He had no hitboxes on his legs.) Also, note that Light Yagami doesn't fit into cheap AI, because his only move is an instant-killer. Sephiroth doesn't exactly fit here either, because he's cheap himself.
  15. I've actually avoided its final move before with a small character. (forgot who) I ran around like mad and when it landed, I was in the lower corner of the stage. Still, that final is nearly unavoidable.
  16. The Big Bang Theory is freakin' hilarious! But this Sheldon looks terrible. There needs to be a good Sheldon out there that uses a death ray and turns into the Flash for his hypers. Or maybe he could use that time machine Leonard ordered...
  17. The one that looks like gum is Ditto. The 3D one is Porygon.
  18. Make the missiles shoot at you into the portals to damage GLaDOS effectively. When the eye falls, push it into the pit where you pushed the first one. But I totally agree that GLaDOS is a huge pain. She is near impossible to defeat. Also, she can't be F1'd.
  19. I figured I'd start another new topic. For this topic, list characters you've fought or seen fight in videos that have AI that fights cheaply. Do not list characters that are cheap themselves like Omega Tiger Woods, F1, or Chuck Norris. Also, do not list AI-less characters that are cheap like Bloo or Weegee. Don't list characters with no hitboxes like Rick Astley, either. You can list cheap attributes that make their AI cheaper. I'm talking characters like the ones I've listed. My list: Dragon Claw (Reu): Can link any attack for easy infinite combos, which his AI takes advantage of consistantly. Super Mario and Super Luigi (ShinRyoga & Neo Ankh): Constantly corner spam the opponent. Fat Buu and Kid Gohan (miayou, AI Patched): Can easily link attacks for highly overpowered combos. Fat Buu has a fullscreen special and an overpowered grab. Ferroseed and Venipede (Mario11766): Can cheaply combo and spam grabs. Super Buu (Stig87): Has overpowered attacks and EXTREMELY cheap AI. Consistantly uses teleports and cheap combos. Ginyu (Stig87): Fights cheaply by using underground dashes and a completely unblockable hyper that does a LOT of damage. Geno (tachi): Spams projectiles constantly, can power up his stats and consistantly uses instant-killers. Inuyasha (Meta Gouki, AI Patched): Can link attacks easily for overpowered combos and spams projectiles. Lucario (Dshiznetz): Spams projectiles, constantly uses a near unavoidable dashing hyper that does massive damage. Klinklang, Magnemite, and Umbreon (ShowBuySpirit): Magnemite spams projectiles. Klinklang has a cheap comboing ability. Umbreon spams traps, has a Shun Goku Satsu, and uses Moonlight to heal. Iron Man (IronMan): Flies to the top to the stage and spams projectiles to become unhittable. Dr. Doom (DrDoom): Same as Iron Man. Black Heart (BlackHeart): Sits in one spot and spams projectiles and high-priority attacks. Megaman (Megaman): I don't know how to explain this one, but his AI is VERY cheap. Wolverine (Wolverine): Same as Megaman. Spider-Man (SpiderMan): Has overpowered attacks and spams projectiles and a long-reaching grab. Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Yoshi (SNS(^_^)): Spam projectiles constantly. Yoshi constantly jumps around to become impossible to hit and spams grabs. Cutman (Excursion): Spams projectiles. Dancing Banana (Ironcommando): Spams projectiles and can combo very easily. Has slightly overpowered attacks. Silver Samurai (SilverSamurai): Has high-priority moves that he spams all the time. Can power up his attack power. Spams projectiles. Annoying Orange (a487561): Has overpowered moves, especially hypers and heals by charging. Has pretty cheap AI. Dr. Gero (CHOUJIN): Constantly fights at a distance and makes himself nearly unhittable. Can heal by absorbing projectiles. Uses Android 19 a lot. Chowder (FelxMario2011): Spams projectiles and grubble gum constantly to make himself impossible to get close to. Yes, I know this is a lot, but these characters will drive you insane with their cheap AI.
  20. Bazinga! There needs to be a good Sheldon Cooper (from The Big Bang Theory) for MUGEN.
  21. I know. That's what I plan on doing. I also forgot to put that I caught Cresselia today. You have to visit all of the Unova bridges and have the Lunar Wing. It was really hard to catch. Lowered it to red health and it kept escaping. It had Moonlight as one of its moves, but I had my Reuniclus use Heal Block to stop it from using it.
  22. Another thing that disappoints me is that my dreams always seem to be about boring stuff like school. (Most of the time it's school.)
  23. Well, my brother started playing Pokemon Black 2 yesterday and he transferred a Pokemon with Pokerus to his game and spread it. Now his Pokemon are gonna be really overpowered. (Pokerus is a virus that gives a Pokemon double effort values in battles.) He's gonna trade one of his infected Pokemon to me so I can get it on mine, because Pokerus is extremely rare. It's much rarer to find than a Shiny Pokemon, that's how rare it is.
  24. Got some more: Dr. Gero (CHOUJIN's): Constantly fights at a distance and it is very hard to get close enough to hit him. Get near him and you get a face full of his foot and Android 19. Projectile spamming doesn't work well, because he can use them to heal like Ness's PSI Magnet. Trunks (CHOUJIN's): Throw spammer. Jumps at you and chucks you at least 50 percent of the time. Yoshi: His AI is incredibly annoying. He does everything he can to avoid you and land combos on you, then uses an egg roll to get away. His AI is even programmed to taunt you fairly often. Zeeky H. Bomb: Insanely cheap. Geno: Spams projectiles a ton and has instant killers.
