  1. I finally made a serious custom character. She needs some pizazz here and there but her gameplay is 100% complete. A to-do list is contained in her readme.   2. Updated once again, this time I focused on making her gameplay more fun. Changelog: -Made combos feel smoother -Adjusted the distance before the opponent stops guarding attacks slightly. -Stealth update made about 10 minutes after this post that fixed a regression on being unable to perform X,A,Y,B,C combo.

  5. Many of you know me for my edits of other peoples creations but at some point I want to start working on custom creations. One of the problems I have at the moment is deciding the gameplay style, I have many of it thought up but I'm not 100% sure if everything is good. So I'm asking you for help. (I'm planning to use this style for a full game too) What I have so far: My characters will use 6 attack buttons and a taunt button Most if not all characters will run forward Jumping mechanics vary from character to character, some characters have no air jumps while others have multiple. Air dash and if back hop or back run also varies. You are able to Air Recover by pressing two punches at the same time with an indicator appearing when it is possible. (Might change to Burst) The combo system is almost identical to Marvel VS Capcom The Infinite prevention system is similar to Skullgirls where if the system detects repitition, the enemy will be able to Air Recover/Burst A Parry exists as an alternate guarding option A guard counter that takes half a power bar and does about as much damage as a special can be activated if you press two punches while guarding.

  9. I think having another Splanker is kind of redundant since she already has one. I prefer having her tumble in a manner similar to the equally excitable Kirby.
  10. I thought crouching heavy kick should be the tripping move.
  11. Also Stand Light Kick is bigger than the rest of the sprites.
  12. The video won't be ready until more sprites are completed such as jumping back, crouch heavy punch, and crouch light kick.
  13. There's an edit post button. Use that to fix the image.

  15. Made a rough launched sprite by upscaling and tracing over a frame of the losing life animation from the Genesis game.
  16. RSR's Damage Dampener code using fvar(12) and fvar(10) is better than the one currently used in Zim.
  17. Just check if var(21) isn't used and if it isn't, copy paste the var(21) stuff from Zim onto Dib and Rocko.
  18. Zim has a damage dampener, everyone else doesn't. Strange huh?
  19. If you throw the Muffin in mid-air he throws another Dib instead of a Muffin.
  20. The sprites seem simple enough for me to edit something together with them.
