A decent boss character whose attacks are not completely undodgeable or unblockable - and, surprisingly, it doesn't hit as hard as you'd think with most of its attacks, though it does have 10,000 HP, which makes fighting it a slow prospect. You only have to beat it in one round, though. The second round just has Schala kneeling on the ground, with no life, and you win automatically. It was probably named Neo-Lavous due to that snes hack of Chorno Trigger called "Chorno Trigger:Crimson Echos" where it looks exactly like the Dream Devourer just without Schala on it. I think it means that the author fixed a bug causing it to not attack during the change to Mad Mode, but your guess is as good as mine.
