Apparently, I'll give a tutorial to people who wants to convert to HD but don't want to because of said hassles that it comes to play in HD.
 
First, there are two choices of HD, 850x480(true hd but not really the kind of res you probably want), and 1280x720p, the res that supposedly is HD.
 
So, how do you convert stages from single res to hd res? It depends on the stage itself. Make sure the stage's length can support the HD res (some are only made for 640x480 (bg sprites being about this size for normal res stages).
 
First: Playing with bounds

This is only the case if the localcoord of the stage is 320x240 or none (defaulting to 320,240). Remember that you also have to halve the deltas for each BG Layer.
In the even that that the localcoord of your stage is 640x480, then you set the localcoord to 850,480 and adjust the bounds only. Leave the deltas alone at that point.


He's not talking about actual zoom from the sound of it. He's using the word here to describe the act of the stage filling the screen. It's the wrong term, but I think that's what he means.

My labor is complete!
At least, for now. I might come back some day and make it more exciting, as it's nothing particularly spectacular right now.

So here's what this is, I wanted to make a MUGEN build, that I called Generations, and I wanted it to be in HD. Or at least, in widescreen. But I also wanted a Category screenpack.
And then I discovered that there are no HD Category screenpacks. At least, not that I can find.

Eventually I said "Screw it, I'm going to just learn how to make my own."

And then I spent the last three nights straight putting this together! My first screenpack!
I actually forgot to eat for the entire middle day. ^.^'
I must say though, 1.1's PNG support sure makes things a whole lot easier.
I present this all to you, as I figure I'm probably not the only one who'd have interest in a screenpack such as this.

Screenpack has 300 slots per category for up to 4800 character slots (one category is a hidden "Secret" category). If aesthetic isn't a concern, there are two blank rows that can theoretically have characters placed in them too, as well as the Random row, for a total maximum amount of 5700 characters.
The Screenpack comes pre-installed onto 1.1 and includes 1 KFM in each category for quick testing of the Select Screen. The Select Screen is also numbered to keep track of the 300 slots in each category. Feel free to be remove either feature.

May I ask what the purpose of this thread is, other then bashing the guild?
 
Statistics mean nothing, many people still visit both sites, some people, such as myself, just prefer some sites over others, that doesn't make the other site any better then the other. Mugen is not about which site is better, it's about creating content for everyone to enjoy, characters, stages, etc. 
 
Stuff like this, all this drama is one of the main reason why the Mugen community as a whole is in decline.
