It's still 1X vulnerable, so being killed by a fighting move is still feasible.
-
But if you did that, then it wouldn't be able to use ANY of the moves mentioned.
-
Still, first Klefki must set up. If you can kill Klefki in one shot, it won't get to. And Klefki's stats... Not very good. It has average base defenses, and it's base HP is incredibly low, at only 57. Earthquake will rip through it.

Meh, I didn't count that match. I forgot to turn handicaps off, and you were using your barnyard animals team instead of your serious one. Speaking of which, why didn't MegaAmpharos' Mold Breaker stop MegaKangaskhan's Parental Bond? Hey, maybe we can take each other on for real soon. :)

Swagger is a two-sided coin. One one side, you could very well cause your opponent to aid their demise, but it could ALSO aid the opponent. It really is a "Heads I win, tails you lose" type move that relies on luck.

I have to wonder, is Malamar actually good? It DOES get Superpower AND Contrary which can boost its attacks while it attacks, but... I'm not sure if there's anything else going for it.
-
Not to mention it rarely ever works. You have to be absolutely dead sure a person's going to use a non-damaging move and doesn't have infiltrator. Anything else will gnaw through Gengar's substitute.
-
Still, I do kind of like having the priority moves. But if you insist, I could sacrifice one of them.
-
But if I get rid of my priority moves, won't that make Khan more likely to be one-shot without a single go? I'd rather keep my priority moves, but I'll try Earthquake out over Return.
-
Meh, I'll just try different stuff and see what works. Frankly, I have been having semi-success with Kangaskhan, so I'll stick with that moveset, maybe change up Return. Honestly, I quite like my priority moves. Gengar I... might just disgard altogether. He just cannot take a hit at all.
-
I'd rather have a reccomendation from you. I could look up a hundred different sources, and they'll all say something different. Not all of which are helpful. What's your pick?
-
What would you suggest?
-
Kangaskhan: Maybe not. Gengar: Maybe not. Lucario: DEFINATELY not. My Kangaskhan has Fake Out/Power-Up Punch/Sucker Punch and Return. My Gengar has Shadow Ball/Sludge Bomb/Dazzling Gleam/Destiny Bond

Sorry, I was a bit hasty. ...Oh who am I kidding. I lose all reason when Pokebattling. I believe it's more fair to say that I have a hard time fighting certain Pokemon like Greninja and Aegislash, Pokemon which are OU, and yet my Mega Lucario, Gengar, and Kangaskhan are constantly getting their asses handed to them. My Gengar can't take a hit in either form and Kangaskhan can take a hit sometimes, but she has a hard time actually killing a lot of things. My Mega Lucario just plain fails.
-
I don't in actual Smogon battles. Only in X and Y do I use Mega Lucario, Mega Kangaskhan, and Mega Gengar. And as I've said before, my Mega Lucario is pretty bottom percentage. And for supposedly being OP, my Gengar and Kangaskhan seem to die easily. I do kind of find it odd that certain Pokemon which are almost impossible to kill are supposedly only OU while Pokemon that aren't even that hard to counter are ubers.
-
Quite a lot, actually.
-
Well, at least that's ONE OP Legendary we no longer have to deal with in OU.

Anybody watching Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics?
MugoUrth replied to Werewood's topic in [ RANDOM CHATTER ]
Not me. After hearing about all the dogs they're needlessly putting down and whales they've captured for the olympics, I'm personally boycotting it. ...I know I'm lame, but whatever. Germany seems to do pretty well in the Winter Olympics, and is doing as expected it seems. -
After playing with Slurpuff in Pokemon Showdown, I'm starting to consider training one. I actually managed to sweep an entire team with one (Made less amazing by the fact he sent all his Fairy-weak Pokemon first and saved the two with a type advantage for last, which gave Slurpuff enough time to buff up) and am starting to wonder if Slurpuff can't actually be useful. After all, it DOES get a pretty good ability in Unburden, and it's got decent bulk, heck no worse than Azumarill. Maybe I could actually use one online. Still, I wonder if Aromatisse could be used for anything. It's super slow and doesn't really have any abilities useful outside team battles.

...Is Megaman supposed to be in the floor?
-
Neither is Garchomp. *Shot* Still, I did notice something was up earlier when searching for Ratatta on the GTS. I'd end up spelling it wrong and get something like "You are not allowed to use that word," or something like that. Edit: I'm starting to wonder why people hate Smogon but not Serebii. What, because their favorite Pokemon are UU or lower? Okay, that is kind of annoying seeing a lot of my favorite Pokemon being called UU or even NU while seeing Pokemon I strongly dislike (Like Garchomp *Shot*) be called Uber. But one thing I do admire about Smogon, which is more than I can say about Serebii, is that they tend to focus on the positives. Reading Serebii's sixth gen review of Snorlax was kind of annoying. They go on and on and on about how Snorlax is no longer useable and how it's fallen from grace, not even bothering to mention that there are more counters to Fighting Types this gen or anything else. Smogon is usually more positive in their reviews, mentioning that while he's less useable, they still go over the strong points AS strong points and not minor things like Serebii does. They haven't done a 6th gen review for him yet, though. Plus, Serebii seems to play favorites a bit, still remembering their 5th Gen Excadrill review which started with "I hate this thing so much!" (Seriously the one decent Uber Pokemon before MegaKangaskhan and *Shot*) In general, I just like how Smogon is more positive than Serebii, bug I hear people complaining so much about Smogon, but not so much on Serebii.

Thee speaks the truth, excellency.

That fourth guy sure looks like Silver.
-
Ugh. Silver's gonna be in this game?

But I'm only trying to help. Plus, by not bringing it up constantly, it encourages people to never learn from their mistakes. I'm only trying to explain how it helps.
