  1. I think she just didn't understand it.
  2. It does make 3/4 Circle moves and Circle moves in general easier to pull off though, making a character like Zangief easier to play. ...It does however do injustice to forward-down-diagonal moves though.
  3. ^Wait, how so? (Quote function's not working for me right now.)
  4. No, he's not. MMZ Zero is not "overrated as fuck." ...Zero is overrated as fuck. *Trollshield* Also, Fighting games like SSF4 were kind of made to be used with a joystick over a D-Pad, cause it's easier to pull off special moves with a joystick. The Circle Pad, of coarse emulates a joystick. ...But I don't know about Smash Brothers.
  5. How so? How are they horible?
  6. If it's true, I hope they fix the 3DS version a bit.
  7. Okay, so is anyone even going to comment on Vampire Burns? I thought this was a topic about him. Vamp-Burns was made around the time Warner went back to being an asshole sprite-swapper, so I can assume this version is more touched up. I'd have to play it to see what's been changed. Might give it a shot.
  8. I'm calling fake until it's proven otherwise. There seems to be a clear patturn of Pokemon getting Megaevos in this poster. In X and Y, there did not seem to be many real clear patturns. Sort of mostly just already OP Pokemon, plus the 3 original starters, plus a bunch of others. It also neglects to mention MegaWeavile. ...Or did that turn out to be fake. Get with the times, Benny.
  9. I'm still kind of hoping Snorlax gets a Mega evo. Yeah yeah, "Blah blah blah, MugoUrth likes tubby Pokemon" but seriously, I keep feeling a bit disappointed that Nintendo never does anything new for the poor guy even though he's arguably among some of the more reccognizable Pokemon. Plus, I'm not a big fan of seeing Pokemon who are already really strong, even OP (like Blaziken and Garchomp) get Megaforms, but Pokemon who could actually use a boost get ignored. ...Okay, the ammount of already OU or higher Pokemon that got Mega forms isn't THAT high (What, like Blaziken, Scizor, Tyranitar, Garchomp, and maybe a few others), and the ratio does really favor the weaker Pokemon, but still. Also, I'd probably need to see MegaSabeleye in a video. Still, I have to wonder its ability. One of Sableye's main claim-to-fames besides only being weak to fairy is his ability Prankster. Will his ability still be Prankster?
  10. I cannot just hypnotise myself into having an interest in characters I don't find interesting. Plus I know I say that sort of stuff a lot, which is why I hide that text so it's not the main focus of my posts. Haven't played as Lucario so I couldn't tell you. They might fix him in SSB4. You never know. I tried seeing positives in Mewtwo, but... I'm sorry, he really does suck. I wouldn't call him a gimmick character, though. I suppose. I dunno if I'd really call her a gimmick character either, since she still has traditional gameplay. And again, they might fix her in SSB4 (assuming the rumor that all the original 12 characters are returning is true). Now that Charizard's going it alone this time, things might be different. I don't know. Also, I think real frogs are kind of cool.
  11. Let's not start a fight please. Also, which Pokemon exactly were gimmick Pokemon characters besides Pokemon Trainer? I haven't played Brawl, but people always called him a low tiered character in Melee, but I actually found him to be quite easy to play as. Same with Yoshi, another character that seemed to get flack for being low-tiered.
  12. People seem to be really cross at the fact Pac-Man's now in this game. Personally, I say "Oh well." Besides he's the closest thing we have to a non-human newcomer that isn't that overrated ugly-ass frog.
  13. Brokd. :P Though to be fair, Gen V did have secret bases too, except they were on a site, basically an online only feature. Gen 6 sort of has a secret base in the form of the PokeAmie's interface. Pokemon get this room and you can decorate it and change the wallpaper and what-not. It's kind of like HG/SS's berry pots in that it is a feature previously cemented to certain locations now on the go. ...Then again, something about a "Secret Base you can take anywhere" kind of loses a bit of novelty from secret bases.
  14. I dunno. Until I see official stats, I aint going to assume MegaSwampert's gonna be a slouch. He looks like he could be particularly fast. And even if they only increase his speed a little, doubling that would still make him pretty fast. ...However if they lower his speed, then I dunno. Judging by his looks though, I think they will raise the speed. Regular Swampert looks to be the kind that would rather fight up-close and bring the opponent to him, where MegaSwampert looks like the kind who will throw that logic out the window and just rush in arms swinging.
  15. I have to complain about something. Mega Sceptile's ability is... Lightning Rod? How does that make sense? Or even help him, considering Grass is already resistant to Electric. It might work in doubles, but singles? MegaSwampert with Swift Swim sounds good. I know people were hoping for Sap Sipper, but Swampert with Sap Sipper kinda strikes me as, to be honest, overpowered.
  16. Right now I'm playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Having fun visiting other players and growing the town. It's nice that Nintendo really tried to make things fresh with this installment of the series. There's a few minor complaints but I love the conveniences too. Also switching between a bunch of XBox 360 games, including Oblivion, Soul Calibur IV, Rock Band 2, etc. Just got some new songs for Rock Band 2. :)
  17. Oh my god, MegaSwampert is ****ing awesome! MegaSceptile's pretty cool too. MegaBlaziken... well we already knew what he looked like. :P
  18. Yeah, a new Pokemon Pinball would be cool. ...But I kind of hope they fix some of the mechanics. Pinball games do often take a lot of skill to master, but both of the Pokemon Pinball games seem to be entirely reliant on luck. The physics just don't feel right.
  19. Anyone else kind of wish someone would take Ghosteo's sprites and remake the mugen characters?
  20. Genocide City is an unused stage for Sonic 2 that was never finished, and unfortunately no official picture exists of it, so generally people make mock-ups as an idea of what it could have looked like had it ever been finished. Also: Female Fox? O_o
  21. Meh, didn't care that much. Dude did a pretty good job though.
  22. Not sure if it's real or not, but... I found this recently while on Facebook. Not sure if real or not, but if it is fake, it's a pretty convincing fake at that. But at the same time, it also looks... too much like other Mega forms.
  23. I do know quite a bit about the metagame, I was just asking a question about their viability.
  24. I don't get it, Aegislash S rank? To be honest, I don't normally have problems fighting him, especially since it is easily destroyed by Will-O-Wisp. It can King Shield all it wants, but it only protects it from attacks. Things like Will-O-Wisp and Taunt still work on him. ...Then again, I play 1V1 too much and a lot of the Pokemon I use in 1V1 are fire types, so maybe that's why. But I ALSO do not get how Charizard X is above Charizard Y in viability. This is how I am against the two... Charizard X: This could be tough. O_o Charizard Y: I'm doomed! OnO From what I know, it might be X's speed advantage (Which makes little sense since Y looks a LOT faster) as well as typing, but Charizard Y usually destroys my team.
  25. People tend to have more fun playing with Pokemon they find cool than Pokemon that are strong but don't appeal to them. I'm that way to be honest. There are certain Pokemon I dislike so much I will not use them, so I use Pokemon I like in the game, and in general I have fun doing it. People say I will like a Pokemon more if I use it more, but I've used Talonflame quite a lot, and honestly still don't like him that much. Yeah, he's strong, but he's visually ugly. But in general I find that I can still fun with certain Pokemon I don't like that much if my team still has a lot of cool Pokemon. Plus, cool Pokemon can STILL be strong when used right. ...Which makes me wonder if I gave Diggersby more of a chance if I could have turned him into something. From what I know, he's one of the few early-on rodent Pokemon who's actually viable in OU. (He's a Borderline type Pokemon, which means he's generally too strong for UU, but not strong enough to actually dominate in OU, but can definitely be used.) I always liked him, but I discarded him early on in favor of a team with Chestnaut, Gengar, Excadrill, Mandibuzz, Shiny Talonflame, and Lucario/Blastoise (Switch between some of them).
