  1. It appears that my conversion attempt on Iwakick's Omega Red is a total disaster... the vars and helpers he used is beyond my ability and thus, and regrettably I have given up on the conversion and plan to convert someone else's Omega Red in the future. Sorry it took long but it was frustrating figuring out the coding. Edit: I checked and thanks to Tony Redgrave for suggesting this. It appears Cyanide's Omega Red can be something I can work with at ease. Only several variables are used so this one won't be hard like Iwakick's, hopefully. Edit 6/1/2015: Just started Cyanide's Omega Red and it turns out this conversion will be much easier. Mouser's MvC2 misc sparks are sprites 8000 and up and Cyanide don't have those in use or animations #. His .sff, .air and .snd are already done. Just need to put his basics in and test it like always. As for Iwakick's Spiral, I don't think I'll be able to do that one either for the same reason.
  2. Well, I'll pick Riolu to play as and Totodile as my partner, just like Explorers of Sky. At least I don't have to worry about the Belly system but GarchompMatt did forget one crucial thing. You have LIMITED number of moves in a dungeon. After a long time has passed on a certain floor, you'll see a message saying you feel a mysterious wind blowing. That's a signal that you better hurry up and advance to the next floor. You'll get 2 warnings of that wind and if you get a third warning, GAME OVER. What I mean by that is that you and your team are blown out of the dungeon and it counts as a loss. Also, Escape Orbs are the most crucial item to have besides the Reviver Seeds. If you use an Escape Orb in the middle of a dungeon, it'll count as a win and says you safely escaped and you keep everything you found before that point you use it. To add on to the recruitment, not many Pokemon will join you at the early stages but as your level gets higher, more Pokemon may want to join you. The most difficult Pokemon to recruit is Kecleon. They are FAR FAR MORE powerful than Legendaries and WILL call on a horde to wipe you out if you damage him in their shop within the dungeon. I haven't played Gates to Infinity so I don't know the shops still there. And like all games. Some Pokemon WILL join you no matter what, this goes for Legendaries and strong Pokemon too. In Red/Blue Rescue team, Pokemon like Magnemite, Absol, Latias and Gardevoir will join you after a mission by either asking to join you and you accept or right off the bat. In Time/Darkness/Sky, Mewtwo is only obtainable through a Challenge Letter and he WILL ask to join you post-game if you defeat him. Anyway, Noob, you'll enjoy this game. Now, since it's retail, I'm super excited for the game.
  3. Wow, that sucks... reminds me when my mugen.exe was deleted on a computer when I tried to open it. I don't understand the anti-virus programs on it though. It was never virus-infected.
  4. First trailer of the game Statement from Serebii: The Nintendo Direct in Japan today has revealed that Pokémon Super Mystery SDungeon is to be released in Japan on September 17th 2015. It features a full range of starter Pokémon available and maintains the legendary Pokémon and aesthetics of the previous title. It has all the currently available Pokémon The huge selection of starter Pokemon makes this promising... but... this may also mean it's not a F2P game. I hope it isn't.
  5. I see... that's very impressive... the Targetbind can use some work though for the spin throw... I'm thinking these commands since MvC2 throws use the heavy kick and punches as throws... Spin -> Holdfwd+z Roll -> Holdback+z Slam -> Holdfwd+c Toss -> Holdback+c Can the target still Tech Hit cancel out of the throws if Wario was to chain throw them? He could be a good rival of Zangief imo
  6. I like the progress you made... so these throws you mentioned to me. Are these normal throws or special throws? Because in the conversion thread, the characters there can Tech Hit cancel normal throws.
  7. If the fart burst is weak, make the target go into a dizzy state.
  8. Well, I always thought that you can't block crouching attacks while guarding in your standing state, is that what you mean?
  9. Hmm... I'll see what I can do. I'll add these on the waiting list later. Thanks for the recommendation.
  10. I like the progress of it. Keep it up.
  11. Fox's been updated with more palette options, thanks to ZombieBrock once again.
  12. Which is why you should hold off the challenges and get Pokemon that are 500 to 600 Power levels higher and capable of Mega Evolution. I tried my Mega Sceptile in the Garden Challenge and he has feet of fury... seriously... his only hurting attack is Double Kick and one-shot every enemy he sees except the Bosses which took like 6-8 kicks to defeat.
  13. Best way to deal with a Boss you want to capture is to fight off all the wild Pokemon that fights alongside it until you start to realize that no more enemies will spawn. That's your perfect chance to catch it but get a Pokemon with Endeavor. That move has 4 stars and does a point of damage when the Boss is weakened, giving you chances to make it dizzy and defeat it. I do this with my Sceptile and Gutsy+ Clefairy all the time. By the way I captured a 1600+ Palkia and Lugia. The Palkia I fought had a 100% catch rate so I didn't have to worry about making him dizzy and been farming lots of P coins with my Lucky+ Abomasnow.
  14. They should add extra portraits, especially the sad, angry, dizzy, determined, shocked, worried, etc portraits for the Pokemon that lacked them, even though they don't play a major role in the story.
  15. This is outstanding progress! I'm giving him a spot for my MvC2 Conversion thread.
  16. They better not make it free to play and I hope they'll have ALL 719 Pokemon playable, because Gates to Infinity had an EXTREMELY LIMITED Pokemon list, which made me lose interest in even getting the game. It didn't even had the Totodile line.
  17. Since Axel's in it, I hope we'll see enemies from the SOR series like the Signals, Electra, Abadede, Jack and maybe the Big Boss himself: Mr. X!
  18. Hopefully they'll announce more fighters later on.
  19. Thanks to one of the palette gods, ZombieBrock, I updated Jon Talbain with the new palettes. His old palettes are still selectable, as well as the one I made myself so you can select 12 of the 19 palettes in the folder to use. If you want to use a certain Assist type with a certain palette, and this goes for any fighter in this thread, rearrange the palette list in the .def to the order of your liking. Oh, and Talbain has a JPN.def file for those who wishes to play as him under his Japanese name of Gallon instead of the international. Thanks again, ZombieBrock, for the Talbain palettes! One more thing: I began to post a spoiler showing a list of chars I plan to convert in the future... remember, bear with me as I don't have time every day to work on this but I do find time to do so. And if you have a character you think is worthy of a conversion, be sure they have a 3 punch/kick layout and tell me the author so I can add on to the list of conversions.
