But yeah, it'd feel weird playing an inferior version of Super Pokémon Rumble, so I'll pass. If they'd made it similar to Splatoon and Xenoverse in terms of online hub worlds and made it a retail game, then I'd probably be all over it.

I guess the other thing that puts me off this game is that I won't have my Grappler Zekrom with Bolt Strike and Dragon Claw :P

To be fair, Roy never had a Final Smash, so seeing as Sakurai gave Mewtwo a Final Smash that wasn't Aura Psycho Storm or a transformation (not in the traditional sense, at least), then there's a fairly good chance he'll get something other than Critical Hit, even if it's a generic Hyper Combo.

Edgy Light Arrows. But yeah, Lucina is basically weak Marth. Her sword does about 2% more damage than if Marth sourspotted his sword (attacking with the base), which isn't going to happen all that often.

But then three Marths. Not sure why Sakurai's crew would put Ryu's theme in the patch files if they were merely going to remove it later. Unless this is similar to Mew in Red & Green and Sakurai doesn't know about it.

I'd still rather play Super Pokémon Rumble (Pokémon Rumble Blast to you 'Muricans) than this. I get that it's "free", but it's like Pokémon Shuffle and Pokémon Link: Battle! (Pokémon Battle Trozei to you 'Muricans); the one you buy is more fulfilling than the one that's "free". I don't like games that make you wait to play it more, and I sure as hell ain't spending any money on it.

It could hardly be a bear and a bird, now could it? It's being made by actual Rare, not the company that calls themselves Rare.

Disable isn't really that good. I mean, if you're crouching, jumping or looking the other way, it does nothing. You do realise Mewtwo can reflect his reflected projectile back, right? I know there's a limit to the amount of times he can do this that's dependant on the power of the projectile, but still.

Star Fox Assault. When was the last game Ness was relevant? Or Captain Falcon? Or Duck Hunt (Duo)? Or Mr. Game & Watch? Or R.O.B.? Or Sonic? :} I don't think when a character's last game was released (or at least, the last game they appeared in) makes the slightest bit of difference.

Sakurai likes the moveset he gave Ganondorf. Ganon's his main, actually. There's your reasoning.

In short, he's an agile little bugger. Making him Ganondorf slow would be weird.

I play as a character because I like playing as them. If they're high-tier, so be it.

Take everything Sakurai has ever said with a grain of salt, except maybe the Ice Climbers thing. "No DLC" - we got DLC. "No more balance patches" - we got balance patches. "No fighting game characters" - we may get Ryu.
